Angel: Yearbook is a collection of the final comics published by IDW and it's a celebration of the five years run of the series.

...Dust to Dust - Gunn reflects on growing up with his sisters Aloona and what inspired him to hunt vampires. Since I can't remember much about Gunn before he met Angel was it interesting to read this story. 3.5

OMG Unicorns - Harmony tries to stay cheerful by updating her blog after losing her job at Wolfram & Hart. Harmony tries really hard to not fall back on drinking blood from humans in this short story. Harmony is such a fun characters, she isn't bright, but she is funny. 3

All the Time in the World - Wes and Fred tried to enjoy a normal first date, but it doesn't go that well. This was one of the best stories in this collection. Fred and Wes just can't find some alone time. 4

My only Friend - Angel contemplates his relationship with L.A.I had to check up My only Friend, because I had completely forgotten what the story was about. But then again it was only two pages long. 2

Fight for the Remote - Spike and Angel fight for what to watch on the telly. OK story, short, but it shows how well Angel and Spike goes along, like dogs and cats. 3

This one Time -  Angel and the gang tries to help Mikaela who has a slight reality-warping ability. It's hard to help someone who has the ability to change reality, but can't control it. 4

I really enjoyed these short stories! Some of them were ridiculous (like Angel would pull a sword on Spike for a remote control) but some of them were filled with meaning and emotion (the equally funny and sad story of Fred and Wesley’s attempts at a first date). I love ‘what if?’ stories and seeing the different ‘realities’ these characters could've been in were exciting and emotional. The final story was a goodbye from the editor of the Angel series. You could honestly feel how much love and joy he had working on Angel and telling these stories with the other creators. I have to say that super meta ending where he wanted ‘to slay the dark hoooooorse…’ was pretty hilarious!

Angel: Yearbook #1

The fight against the darkness was never meant to be led by a vampire, even one with a soul. But Angel kept Los Angeles safe for everyone.

IDW signs off their 'Angel' run with a thank you to the fans. Funny and exciting, with high quality artwork and a great exit scene from the editors.

There are some great short pieces in this collection. The Wesley and Fred one was particularly funny and heart breaking. A good read.

3.5.

the Fred/Wes one was particularly devastating. loved the one about alternative realities, always obsessed with people telling spike he was always destined to be a hero. 😇
