This show first aired in early 1996 and then in early 2000 more episodes were created and aired as part of the brand new episodes marathon in 2002 steve left the show to start a music career in 2003 a special episode aired which was also dedicated To mr Rogers also in 2003 noggin started airing the original series with the season 5 episodes set to air on the noggin channel in early 2005 and 2006 along with the original series as well in 2007 to 2009 in 2010 noggin was switched over to nick jr and the n was also switched and renamed to teenick the n channels original series instent star was removed from airing due to copyright restrictions oh and all that the original series and 2005 series was also pulled from airing due to too many episodes airing on different channel including the n and of course Nickelodeon in early 2005 when seasons 1 and 3 started airing but with each episode in random order in 2006 a new cd album called blues biggest hits was released with a dvd extra included which featured a new blues room music video and then a new dvd was released called blues jobs in 2006'along with the 10th years of blues clues behind the clues in early 2006 the series was also released in the UK which also had a host named Kevin my 2nd favorite actor in early 2005 and 2006 s o
overall this was a great tv series the website is still alive on the wayback website and a bunch of pc games were released from 1998 to early 2003 along with blues big band and blue takes you to school on vhs and dvd in August 2003 in early 2004 a new spinoff series called blues room was released with new toys being released in k mart stores in December of 2005 the series ended in late August of 2007 with the last dvd called shape detectives was released in August of 2007 in 2001 my mom and aunte recorded 2 blues clues episodes including a brand new episode called blues big mistory and then of course the series was released on iTunes in 2010 and on Amazon prime video in 2011 in 2015 the Spanish series pastas de blue was also released but with season 1 episodes only and the series is still airing on nick jr in 2019

The 2 stars is more aimed at the program behind the book (Blue) as we do not enjoy it. I think it's confusing, slow and just bizarre. However my daughter likes dress up and enjoyed this book although found it confusing that Blue dressed up as a human (Joe).
