Matt Fraction

"How he got started in comics: In 1983, when Fraction was 7 years old and growing up in Kansas City, Mo., he became fascinated by the U.S. invasion of Grenada and created his own newspaper to explain the event. "I've always been story-driven, telling stories with pictures and words," he said.

Education and first job: Fraction never graduated from college. He stopped half a semester short of an art degree at Kansas City Art Institute in Missouri in 1998 to take a job as a Web designer and managing editor of a magazine about Internet culture.

"My mother was not happy about that," he said.

But that gig led Fraction and his co-workers to split off and launch MK12, a boutique graphic design and production firm in Kansas City that created the opening credits for the James Bond film "Quantum of Solace."

Big break: While writing and directing live-action shoots at MK12, Fraction spent his spare time writing comics and pitching his books each year to publishers at Comic-Con. Two books sold: "The Last of the Independents," published in 2003 by AiT/Planet Lar, and "Casanova," published in 2006 by Image Comics.

Fraction traveled extensively on commercial shoots. Then his wife got pregnant. So Fraction did what any rational man in his position would do -- he quit his job at MK12 to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time comic book writer.

Say what? "It was terrifying," said Fraction, who now lives in Portland, Ore. "I was married. We had a house. We had a baby coming. And I just quit my job."

Marvel hired Fraction in June 2006, thanks largely to the success of his other two comics. "I got very lucky," he half-joked. "If it hadn't worked out, I would have had to move back in with my parents.

Normal superhero at its best. He's not fighting some crazy super villain. He's a normal guy with some serious skill and a handful of superhero friends. Who happens to also be a member of the Avengers. You really end up feeling for him, especially when his biggest problem is the tracksuit mafia.

It may meander a little more than necessary, but still fun and with a good heart.

Are you kidding me, Bro? How wonderful can these issues be eh? You have sp. app. by Tony Stark, Spiderman, and Wolverine. Fight for this issue, no cable and Clint has to fix it and fight the tracksuit ninjas or something, it's all great.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to the bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Spider-Man, wolverine and Tony Stark have a cameo here.

Its christmas time. So Clint is moving things on his new apartament and Tony is helping with technological things.

I love that Clint dont like spoilers of a tv show. He's me.

''-You're Clint Barton, what are you talking about? You're one of the Good Guys! So go be a good guy! You know what? this thing you're about to do, this running away thing? it's everything about you that sucks. ''

As I say before, katie its the Queen.

switching into a red theme , it's only the cover tho

christmasy mood, tony and clint trying to untangle tree-lights in a disarming-a-bomb way

"i think my concussions are getting concussions."

"im just kidding. i dont anything about wall street.
youre a carnie and a thief. youd fit right in."

clint struggling moving in

the bro mafia took amd threatened clint and he goes all self depricating about no one missing him as he has to leave so that they dont kill his neighbors

kate"this running away thing? it's everything about you that sucks."

"merry christmas! if, uh. if thats your thing."

"of course it bugs my associate editor to no end, but as everyone knows she is a contact-lens-wearing mutant freak."

Komik di mana Clint Barton memanggil Tony Stark ke apartemennya hanya untuk minta bantuan untuk mengurai kabel tv dan dvd yang terbelit-belit.

Seharusnya Clint memelihara marsupilami saja...

A fun holiday issue. I also really liked how this one tied a couple of plot points from previous issues together.

this. this is what comics are for. the whole medium is meant to be expressive, and aja elevates that notion. ive never seen such minimalist art be so maximalist in design. fraction discussed in the fan letter column in issue #4 that the writing has gotten so tricky as it is meant to be so art forward, but man they pull it off with ease. everyone is at the top of their game here.

most definitely a desert island comic for me.
