If you simply substitute your main card element for the "photo", the sketches work fine for greeting cards. So, I might use a stamped image, or an image cut from patterned paper, or a magazine, or maybe write "congrats!", then mount it on another piece of cardstock and place it where the photo goes. If your sentiment (reason for the card) wasn't included in that element, put it where the Title goes. Et viola, a fancy-looking card with little effort. Change up a couple details (or keep them all the same!) and make a batch while you have the materials out. Make sure you use a "made by ___" stamp on the back, or else just write it.
On another note, some of the sketches don't designate a spot for journaling on the scrapbook page. That's OK! Use the one of the elements to make a small block of journaling OR make a hidden card to be pulled out. I generally put my hidden journaling behind my largest element, which is probably the photo or block of photos. Just leave the top unglued and cut a piece of cardstock to fit + 1 inch/2 cm for a handle/tab. ("To fit" means in between the lines of glue or double-sided tape, not the original size of the "photo" element.) If you use page protectors, you may need to cut a small slash to allow the card to slide out, OR just add a ribbon or thread and pull it from the top or side, whichever way your protector opens. If you use the slash method, remember to tuck the plastic behind the tab so the reader can get to it. You don't want people pulling out pages to read the journaling. OTOH, you can keep it hidden so that only family has access.
Ms. Stewart, please keep up the great work! We need an updated book with your latest ideas. Thanks!
Solid 8/10 unicorns. Could use a bit more verbal instruction, but the art and plans are top-notch. The writing it has is perfect in every way! Not something I can say very often, btw. Gratz! 🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄
I had been going through some really tough personal times. My creativity and belief in myself was at an epic low. Everything I tried, I failed. Searching for a book to just pass the time, this book popped up. Looking through it, faster and faster I felt the first real "feeling" I have in forever. Off to plan, create, heal... KLF

I loved the quote, "Inspiration is all around us…it is just taking the time to recognize it." This book provided numerous sketches the would work for making anything from scrapbook pages to greeting cards or junk journal pages and everything in between!
This is a great resource for scrapbookers. It is guaranteed to help pull you out when you are stuck in a creative rut. The sketches are well organized and the format is easily readable. I keep this on my tablet and just prop the device up in front of me when I'm ready to work.
