Calvin Snow is the only child of Pastor and First Lady Snow and their family is very influential within their community. Pastor and Lady Snow try to be there for them, but struggle with their own problems and martial secrets. Lady Snow starts to see her family crumble before her own eyes and tries to hold everyone together, but the truth hurts. Will this family be able to handle their own "Meltdown?"

This book was really good I like Calvin and his father, this book showed how to trust when Calvin accused his wife of having an affair before getting girl married and also for them not having a child. I also admired Mrs snow as she has cancer and refuses to mention this to the church this book is well worth the read

I did not like this audiobook. I listened to the entire book because I was amazed it was a book. I think more than anything the voice of the narrator was the biggest problem.
I told my co-worker I did not enjoy the book and went on to tell the details of the book. My co-worker said in the middle of my re-telling it sounded like a Lifetime movie script. When I finished my co-worker said they enjoyed the story. So there you go. I read it and absolutely hated it but when I re-told it the person listening loved it. I don't know what to tell you about that.

I almost had a meltdown in reading this novel. The Snow’s are a family in crisis and crisis of some very serious nature. The short story is chocked full of family drama and sin page after page. Selfishness, loneliness, illness, incest, alcoholism, and more are part of these characters lives.

This was a good story that showed the struggles of being a Christian, a PK and a husband and wife. It then brought it all together with real ministry at the end. Glad I read it.

So, the snow's meltdown was really good and it was a bit funny to me. It has a very good story line. I read it in 1 day. The lack of discipline that the pastor had disgusted me. He should have stepped down PERIOD.
I know it's just a story, and at one time I laughed because there are many in the church today that confuse familiar spirits with anointing. All the running around the building and people shouting, screaming, crying is typical of the modern day church that has no real power but is being entertained by seducing and jezebel spirits that are rampant in the church today.
I was hoping it would end differently, but how could it when everyone involved was "playing church."
But, as I said earlier, it is a very good story line. Had these characters been real with their relationship, their family in a whole would have been covered and spared.
They always say the proof is in the pudding and in this story, you see the linkage between the 2 relationships and how bad decisions cause the unthinkable to happen.
I would definitely read from this Author again.

The idea behind the book is pretty good and I understand the message, but the grammatical errors can distract you. The author speaks of how the book was written in a limited time ( a month I believe) and you can tell. I did finish it and I'm glad that I did; with a few improvements it could be a great book.

Great read

Well written and kept my attention. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. I plan to follow her work.
