I remember loving this book as a kid and I can still remember almost the complete plot. That doesn't happen for many books. A great Y/A adventure.

My middle-grade students liked this book. It had some nice, tense moments and gave a good picture of life on the Faroe Islands. I also liked the way animals were portrayed and treated.
