There are so many recipes here that there is literally something for everyone......if you enjoy to bake. The sweet recipes have so many mouthwatering choices....I can envision eating many of these accompanied with a nice cup of coffee or a pot of tea.....delicious!!
I liked the bread section also.....it included some of my personal favorites like "Hot Cross buns"...why they are reserved solely for Easter just seems so unfair...I could definitely eat them all year round. I also liked the look of the "Pretzel with cheese filling" recipe yum!!!
In fact I want to try several recipes...."Rhubarb Crumble Loaf "for instance is calling out my name...I am a total sucker for rhubarb..... Strawberry-rhubarb pie is my all time favorite pie...even trumps Caramel-apple!!! but I do digress here...there aren't any pie recipes included in this cookbook.
The almond tres leches muffin are something that I have never tried before but I wouldn't say no to a tasting of them either.... and I would definitely have to say ..... that this book is an absolute goldmine for the sweet lovers like myself.
If you're looking for a book filled with delicious bread recipes that are fun and easy to make, look no more. There are over 200 recipes from muffins to quick breads, yeast breads, doughnuts, focaccia and more. It's filled with traditional favorites such as banana bread, to newer trendy recipes such as sweet potato and bacon biscuits.
I would have liked more detail in the yeast section with more working instructions and more recipes.
From sweet quick breads, muffins and doughnuts to yeast breads, focaccia and pizza, this book has a lot of recipes to keep you busy baking. However, I was dissappointed in how many of the recipes called for Biscuit mix though.
Don't expect to find sandwich loaf recipes here. There are a lot of recipes, and a lot of GOOD recipes, but only if you want fruit or veggie breads, biscuits, scones, etc.
Was hoping for sourdough recipes, not muffins and such, but still a great variety of different bread type recipes. Quick bread, yeasted bread, muffins, etc. Can't wait to try many of these recipes!
Hmm. Kind of mediocre. Definitely a bit on the uninspiring side. And while there is nutrition info, there isn't much nutrition. Even the recipes marked "whole wheat" had less than half whole wheat flour. Kind of silly, especially for those of us who typically bake with whole grain flours.
Mmmm, bread, I love it, all kinds. I ended up marking about half the recipes to try and can't wait to go through them. I really liked how there were sweet, savory, and regular old bread kinds.
