Simone Beaumont is having a rough day. She is exhausted. Her baby is crying non-stop, she is in a fight with her husband and hasn't spoken to him since last night. A big part of her want to just leave everything. To run away from it all. To vanish. She is considering it while putting her screaming baby in her car seat when suddenly she meets a man in the parking lot who without asking her makes her wish come true.
Emma Frost has just come home from a trip to Eastern Europe when the body of Simone Beaumont is being found. It turns out she was part of Sophia's mothers’ group and soon the small group is shaken by yet another disappearance.

Another super entertaining read from Willow Rose featuring Emma Frost, my favourite of her characters. This time sees a disturbed individual who is killing off mothers of babies within a mothers group with bats (eerrgh .... shudder, shudder, shudder!) being involved. The bodies start piling up left and right with not one, but two killers on the island. Unbelievably only one is caught, so I hope Emma catches on to the other somewhere in the future. One of the characters has appeared in another short story of the author's, "Rock A Bye Baby". This confused me more than a little with different babies names used in the two books but this is explained by the author at the end of the story.(It has to do with the timeline) We also see Emma & Morten's relationship moving past just being friends. Supremely enjoyable read.
Another awesome Emma Frost mystery! This one wasn't as gruesome as some of the others, but there was still a pyscho with his own agenda. And that Lisa, she is beyond wackadoo and gets away with it. Now on to the next :-)
RUN, RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN is the third book in Willow Rose's Emma Frost series and is yet another great addition to this series. This series is not for the faint at heart! Willow Rose just keeps coming up with more and more shocking, engrossing, plot twisting books that I can't get enough of. I'm not sure what that says about my mindset 😂 but obviously I'm not alone in loving this author.
Emma Frost' best friend and neighbor, Sophia, attends a group for mothers. Emma has just returned from Europe when the body of one of the group members, Simone, body is recovered after she had been reported missing. Simone's body is covered in small animal bites and gunshot wounds. Then another member of the group turns up missing and this is just the beginning.
Excellent read for the reader that twisted, thriller, who-done-it types of books!
That Emma Frost lady should take her kids and get the hell out of Dodge, but instead she stays on that island and solves crimes. What gets a bit annoying is that there are multiple killers operating and too many stories told at once. I like that these books are a fast read :)
For this book of the series, I really liked how in the end Lisa (2nd killer) killed Thomas(1st killer) in broad daylight while eating a banana split, she gets celebrated as a heroine and nobody guesses that the other murders are done by her.

If you like to give points for creativity then this one is for you. I'm not sure of the aim of this book, but if the author wanted you to become engrossed in this book then I think she missed the mark. I do admit, there were times during the reading that I started believing in the characters, but then something totally outrageous would happen (your neighbor is killed and you're sitting around a table eating sticky buns) that you would want to throw the book because real characters would never behave this way. This plot is definitely so far out there that it's not even believable.
This is my second Emma Frost book. The books are fast, easy reads that are definitely not for everyone. The stories are twisted and disturbing. I like not knowing where the author is taking me, horror stories and crime thrillers. The flow on this one though did not work for me. I found it a bit hard to invest in the story because I felt like I was constantly jumping around. I did like the plot with the twists and turns, just not the broken flow. I will be reading more from this author. Her mind fascinates me.
This third installment of the Emma Frost series had, for me, several pros and several cons. First the pros:
-The story is very interesting. The motivations of the characters are explored really well, adding extra depth to the story. Mental health issues are explored, which I always enjoy.
-Sophia has a greater presence in this third book. I really like her character and was pleased to see more of her.
-I feel that Emma's character is beginning to be fleshed out a bit more. She's often in the midst of the goings-on on the island, but she's not exactly the heroine of any particular issue. Rather, she's been set up as a person who pays attention to details, trusts her instincts, and steps in without a second thought when somebody needs help. As a result, she feels very every-day woman, approachable to all readers. I love that.
The cons:
-As important a person as Victor is to each of these books, he's barely included. He pops up only here and there, just long enough to give Emma some pivotal piece of information, and then he fades into the background. His sister, Maya, gets even less page time than he does in this third book. For a single mom who is telling about her experiences, I would honestly expect her children to have more of a primary focus for her. I know that, as a mom, my children are always close to the surface of my thoughts.
-The ending really bothered me in this book. There are two killers running around on the island, and their methods are drastically different. One shoots their victims and disposes of the bodies. The other stabs their victims and hides the victims. These are so very, very different there is little to no way to reasonably believe each victim has been killed by the same person. When a person is found with the very identifiable murder weapon in their hands - nobody connects the dots? Really? It is not believable. Even if you think of people wanting to be convinced that the problem is over and the killer has been discovered and dealt with, it still is not remotely believable that law enforcement would be willing or able to ignore blatant evidence when presented to them. I just had such a hard time with this.
Ultimately, I feel that Willow Rose is a good author with some really great story ideas. I don't personally enjoy the books, for reasons I have listed, but I truly feel that her books are excellent for other audiences. If you are looking for a light, easy crime fiction read, these books are perfect for you. Many of them can be read in a single evening, the characters are very relatable, the plots are honestly very good.
For me, personally, I rate this book as 3 stars because of the cons I listed, and because I would not personally want to read this book again. Not because it isn't good, but because I prefer different types of stories. But objectively, for other audiences, I would definitely give this book 5 stars.
Kindle Unlimited, although own 9 of the 10 and possibly some of the sets; wondering if should buy 10 so going to read on ku but first going to read 1 NOPE ALL GARBAGE, went through 10 piles of filth and garbage and sewage. Every story has cardboard characters, unbelievable and stupid nonsense situations, and that is IF can understand the broken/bad mangled sentences of 'English'.
This is, by far, one of stupidest things {ALL TEN} have ever read in entire life, and that's thousands of books across every genre. Did person writing this have English skills, because sure doesn't seem that way, and if it was translated that person needs fired, whoever edited this crap as well because there are misspellings, run on sentences, words in weird places, missing words, wrong syntax, pretty much unreadable mess. The switching of perspective in telling this mess is ridiculous. Switching tenses is ridiculously confusing and definitely wrong. When a 'story' is this bad, it makes it worse if that's even possible, when can't tell who is saying what or talking to or about who. This whole piece of junk should have warning label for graphic crap garbage.

I've said it before, will just keep saying it: This is one of my favorite authors and I'm devouring her books as quickly as I can. Book #3 in the Emma Frost series starts off scary (as the others). Mothers of young children are being kidnapped and murdered. Emma is dragged into yet another investigation as her best friend is friends of many of these mothers. There is also another strange missing person's case going on in the background too, something extra creepy. If you have a squeamish tummy, you'd better stay away from this book! This book is filled with nonstop action, what this author does so well. I've seen some reviewers saying it's too much of a stretch, but because I like the characters and the basic story so well, I really don't overthink it and I just sit back, read and enjoy. I can't get enough of this queen of screams books!
Book#3 - A woman is taking in the middle of the day leaving her baby in the car. Immediately the husband thinks she left him because they had a fight the night before. However when she is discovered dead in a car in the lake, the police realize they have a killer on the island. Emma Frost, the writer, is in the middle of this case too. When another woman falls victim to the same killer but survives, the police begin to wonder what is the connection. Emma and the detective rescues the victim and they wonder who could be committing these crimes, that involve mothers with young children. Then a 3rd victim appears and police realize they have to find the connection and stop the killer before it’s too late.
Fanoe Island is starting to look the the Bermuda Triangle for serial killers and the mentally disturbed. If I were Emma Frost, I'd think about moving!! The third book in the series was good, but with consistent grammatical errors across the first three books, plus some barely believable police work (how do they not connect the stabbings??), I gave this one three stars. Still planning on continuing the series since I've had many of them in my library for a while when I grabbed them for free. I'm hoping to find out more about the seemingly supernatural abilities of Victor and what other craziness comes to this small Danish island.
Another great read by Willow Rose! Her books always have great plots and twists ,Emma Frost’s character is great and this is the third book in the series! It seems members of a small mother’s group start disappearing, putting everyone on edge. There are some gruesome parts of the story and some bizarre characters for sure. And we can’t forget Emma’s son, Victor , who through his visions of bats, helps to find some answers! I love how evil some of these characters were and how the story ends.. or does it? I am getting ready to read the next installment in this series ! If you love thrillers mixed with horror and fast paced reads, pick up a book by Willow Rose!!

This one was still really good and I always like how there is multi story tie ins that help keep you confused but idk what’s nagging me about this one. I think maybe it’s the fact that Emma’s son has like all these pshycic little moments and the fact that for someone not being on the police force she is always getting all this info about the cases and always a little too close to danger. Of course those are also things that keep the story interesting but like I said somethings bugging me about this one.
RUN! RUN! Do NOT read this book before going to sleep. You will not sleep. You will not be able to sleep. You will not be able to close your eyes. Small town living, not for me. Who would expect such things to go on in a small town? And to not know or realize. Who dun it? Lisa? Sophia? Thomas? Morten? Oh the possibilities. You may be right - but - then again wrong. Twisting momoments, change this around. Watch out for the unknown and unexpected. Oh the mind of Willow Rose.
Run Run as Fast as You Can (Emma Frost #3) was a great read by Willow Rose. Simone Beaumont is having a rough day and is exhausted. She is in a fight with her husband and her baby is crying non-stop. While putting her baby in her car seat she is thinking of just vanishing when a man meets her in the parking lot. Emma was on a trip to Eastern Europe and when she returned the body of Simone is found. She was a part of Sophia's mothers' group and they start slowly disappearing. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by Willow Rose.
This was a decent book. Women of the same mommy group which includes Sofia, Emma’s best friend are one by one coming up missing then found dead and Emma and Sofia are worried as it gets closer and closer to Sofia. I was glad to see Victor being utilized in this boo as he does have a special gift. Not sure I’m loving officer Morten and Emma together as I was getting used to the idea of Emma’s neighbor Jack. And I don’t feel as though we got to know Morten too well. It feels as though he popped up and now him and Emma are dating.
Sophia is a member of a small group of women who all had babies under the age of one. A support group. Members are disappearing . Interwoven is the story of a young man who is convinced that the love of his life is suffering at the hands of her husband . Took a while for it to come together . Also cliffhanger element.
Of the three books in the series that I’ve read so far, this is my least favorite. The plot is the most convoluted and the coincidences and depravity of the villains defy belief — even for a thriller. My other problem with this story is that I think it sells the police short in quite a few ways. Otherwise, it’s well written, as I’ve come to expect from Willow Rose, and the characters are well developed. I plan to read the next book in the series.
Woman on Fanoe Island are being murdered. Once again Emma Frost seems to be smack dab in the middle of the "action" Author Willow Rose certainly knows how to twist a terrifying tale. This book has a lot of twists and turns, with an end game that just might leave you dizzy.
This one was easier to solve but still took a few chapters before I sorted it out. I did not like the character of Lisa and hope she gets what she deserves someday. While it seems amazing that one small island could have so many things happen it does happen, which makes it scary. Totally enjoyed this book.
now i am hooked. This was such a great, easy and creative book. i was hooked after the first page.
The characters were easy to fall in love with and follow, along with the story. the author made the mental visions so easy and vivid of the surroundings and the characters actions felt so real.
i would highly recommend this author and this book.
I liked this book. My only complaint is that I have a hard time feeling anything for the characters at all, even Emma. There is almost no characterization, so it's hard to feel anything for them. However, this was a good story. There are two seemingly unrelated events taking place in the book. Everything is explained, though. Someone gets away with murder.
This book had a good storyline and characters! Lisa seems a little whacked out but that’s my opinion! Thomas loses the live of his life so he starts exacting his revenge on all the ladies in the mom’s group that was in the van that day! I highly recommend this book
Willow Rose never disappoints! Not only one, but 2murderers in this page- turner! And wait until you meet Lisa R......I hope she makes an appearance in the next book! C-r-a-z-y!
Two different story lines run along beside each other throughout most of the book. Than when they come together, it's so surprising, you get that chills-down-your spine kind of feeling.
