Like an even more overwrought "Forever" with fewer ellipses but way more batshit crazy. And I'm not really sure what the message was: don't sleep with your boyfriend or you'll become a possessive, controlling shrew? This was terrible.

I'm giving this four stars because my memory of this book is very clear, even though I haven't read it in over a decade.
