It may be helpful for people of the Christian faith If you have any other beliefs, or subscribe to a wider variety of Christian beliefs that focused on here, you would conclude you are meant to think there's no chance of you having anything other than poor relationships and misery. As such the focus is narrow and limited.

I gave it 2 rather than 1 star because despite the above paragraph it does have some good points that are central to people having a more positive life.

I agree with the chapters about fall and human problem. Our only solution is Christ. In Him we have all the havenly blessings. But i disagree with the chapter în witch he talks about finding selfesteem in Christ. Larry Crabb's Understanding People is a bad choise for finding solution. Desiring God by John Piper is a better choise to understand what we are searching în Christ.

As usual this book, like most books on Christianity, was not what I was expecting it to be about. But it was the right book, at the right time for me.

One of my core beliefs is that God created us and made us and that is where we find our purpose and our meaning. I think this book presents a good way, one of many different way, of looking at that and understanding what it means to be 'made in God's image', the effect of sin on that and the need and relevance of Jesus in our being restored back to how we were made to be.
