Ash Keller writes clean contemporary romance and romantic comedies. Her books are sweet on heat but big on heart. She lives in the rolling hills of Kentucky with her wonderful husband, three mischievous cats, and a couple of bossy backyard chickens that peck on the door to demand treats. הספר השלישי בסדרה וההמשך של "Suited for Love" ו-"Making the Cut".
Let me start by saying I have read everything by Ash Keller that’s available and I love her books. Just My Style by Ash Keller is third in the (A Sticks & Stones) series but you can read it as a standalone. Each of these books are a bite size romance with all the sweetness. This book has Victor, the handsome doctor who recently learned he has a full grown son and moved to the town of Friendly,Georgia to get to know him. And then we have Cara, the sassy hand model who is visiting her friend but lives in New York. I absolutely adored this quick romance. I was eagerly waiting for the meet-cute and it definitely did not disappoint. Some things you’ll find when reading this one is a single dad getting to know his son, a mishap meet-cute Love after 40, body positivity, small town beach, enemies to more, and some fun town events.
This story wasn't quite as good as the rest of the series. It felt a little rushed. That said it was a good story. I appreciated that Cara was able to see her misplaced anger but that didn't mean that she immediately overcame it. And Victor was a very determined father who didn't just give up because it was hard.
Kisses only. I didn’t really feel like I got to connect to these characters the novella was very short and most of the time they spent together was condensed into phrases like we spent the last three mornings together and “we’ve spent nearly every hour he’s not working together.”
This story packs a Wallop in Just a few pages. d loved the characters & storyline. I felt sorry for the father.. He was trying for so much bitterness in his son.
Another cute short book, not as good as the others in the series, this one felt too rushed and had unrealistic time frame to the story. But still quick to read and a cute story
This is a delightfully light and fun read. Loved the main characters Victor and Cara. Enjoyed the background or scenery, beachy with enough intrigue to keep the read interesting.
I enjoyed this romance that looks at building relationships and how we can be there for each other. I enjoyed Cara and Victir getting to know one another.
Cara and Victor have a disastrous meet-cute at the airport when Victor accidentally injures Cara’s hand right before boarding a plane to Mexico for a hand modeling gig. Cara decides to stay with her friend Hazel in Friendly, Georgia. With nothing planned, she gets paired up with Victor to participate in town events honoring a beloved local bird. I loved the town events and characters, but everything was very rushed. Once Cara and Victor get together, we don’t see them interact, and it’s all condensed and summarized later. I wish this was longer or structured differently so the characters had more time together and went a little deeper.
