The Chronicle of Baseball: A Century of Major League Action

Rate this book
The Chronicle of Baseball is a celebration of more than a century of the National Pastime. Season by season, every important event in the history of Major League Baseball is recorded, along with each season's statistical leaders, the award-winners and reports on postseason action. In addition, there are more than 40 features on some of the greatest players ever to play the game, from Cy Young to Randy Johnson and Ty Cobb to Albert Pujols. No baseball book of this magnitude would be complete without a records section and The Chronicle of Baseball covers all the bases here.

A concise history of baseball with the highlights of the year and world series from 1900 to 2005.

Lots of photographs and biopics of the best and iconic players of those times.Worth dipping into now and then.
