This was a good little short story, it shows that a mother will do anything to feed her kids even if will hurt them all in the long run. I am looking forward to reading more of Pat Tucker's work.

Lachez was a great short story to what I'm sure is going to be an even better novel. This portion gave you just enough to hook you into buying the next installment. Lachez was looking for a better way to make ends meet. With her two baby daddies having a blow out at her house, things aren't quite looking up financially for the cash strapped mother. Her nosy neighbor introduces her and her best friend to a solution to end all of their money woes.With nothing else on the horizon for a break in debt, they jump atthe chance to work for an exclusive boosting ring as the returners of merchandise. Nothing good lasts forever especially when it's being achieved through ill gotten means.

All in all I really enjoyed Lachez. I know there's going to be some major drama with Lachez and her "crew" in the next installment.

A nice short story, which shows what some women would do to for a better way!!! Lachez was a single mom with three children a no man around. Lachez did not know how she was going to make ends meet without a man in her life. Lachez is introduced to a man that will help her to end her money problems. We must remember that all good things will come to an end.

A Tease!

This short story was like a 5 second sprinkle of rain on a summer day. It was much shorter than I expected but still enjoyable. I got a feel of Lachez and can't wait to read more about her and these other characters in "Daddy By Default".

Just when this book was getting good it was over. Well written and kept me reading. It was very short, but made me want to know more. Looking forward to reading more from Pat Tucker.
