I was looking for a few titles on depression as I’m finding this COVID time period we’re in has not helped me one bit in regards to keeping my own depression in check…so this was one title that came up on Overdrive. There is some good information in here for people who don’t understand depression to maybe get a better basic understanding of how difficult depression is for someone who struggles with it, but it is not a comprehensive book nor is it really meant to be. It didn’t help me, but I probably need something more current that takes in the scope of the time period we’re in. This was written in 2010…I will say and emphasize that exercise and sleep are hugely important for those of us struggling with depression.
