A Questionable Lady

Rate this book
Nate Kingsley is not a happy man when his little sister tells him that a girl she barely knew while in finishing school is coming for an extended visit. Since he was ditched by his former girlfriend for a gambler, Nate did not trust women and he wanted nothing to do with them. Still, when the stage comes to town and he learns that Melanie is kidnapped by outlaws, he goes after her.

Melanie McCrae is fiery tempered, and doing her best not to show fear in front of the ruthless men. She couldn't imagine what they wanted with her. Since her stepmother and stepbrother have gone through her inheritance, she had nothing of value to offer anyone! She ran away when she heard her stepbrother planning to sell her into marriage to a man who wanted a virgin, and while on the run she came up with the idea of traveling to the ranch one of the girls she barely knew owned with her brother.

Melanie planned to decide what to do next once she arrived. Nate was watching the outlaw camp when he spotted the feisty redhead challenging the most notorious outlaw/killer in their territory. He vowed that he was going to spank her if he somehow managed to rescue her without getting both of them killed!

Excellent

I loved they way the story was written.. with love, there might of been time or two when, let his fear and temper got a head of himself, he did apologized, but he was strong alpha man with a heart. Mel and his sister were strong and fisted but tooled there punishment with out too much trouble, haha.. yes it is worth reading.. I love old fashioned western romance..
