So that children will come to know and learn to revere angels, Marigold Hunt explains what angels are (and are not!) and gathers here in one volume most of the stories of angels in the Bible, including exciting tales of:

This is a wonderful book!
This is a book I received as a young boy as a confirmation gift from my Mom. I saw th\at this book explained what angels were and were not, what they stood for and what they stood against, and was immediately hooked. Upon rereading this book, I found that though it was written for younger readers in prose they could understand as I did at that age, it still stands out. This book is ageless in my eyes and tells stories not enough people know about.
I reread chapters because it was so well-written. It explains how angels work in our lives and seek to help us reunite with God. Each chapter explains how angels have helped people throughout the Bible and how they can help us today. I wish more people knew about this book so they could remember how close we are to God's messengers here on earth. Just because we don't see them doesn't mean they don't exist, in fact it makes them more intriguing because like the people they helped in the Bible, they may remain helping us today.
