Boys ages 2-5 will learn all about Superman's incredible powers such as flight, super strength, and heat vision. With the help of Batman and the DC Super Friends, Superman always saves the day! This Little Golden Book is the perfect way to introduce young readers to the world's greatest super hero—the Man of Steel.
Really fun, bright, simple cartoonish summary of Superman and his superfriends. Jack adored it. No story to speak of, but I certainly preferred it to the prior two (very glum) films I’ve seen featuring Superman.
Dad doesn’t like one sentence about being indestructible so it gets four stars. We read this one together with me guessing parts and I was right every time!
Sometimes it's good to have a book where there is a problem presented, then a solution found. In these superman books that's exactly what happens. It's a good example of a story that child can grasp. With a beginning, middle and end. And usually there is always a catalyst like Lex Luthor stealing something, and a solution Superman getting it back.
Perfect storybook to introduce Superman and his super friends to your children. Book explains where he came from what his super powers are and what they do. And then who his enimies are. And when he can't fight by himself his friends come to help him rescue the world. Told in short words but detailed enough to not make this a 'choppy' story; story flows along very well.
