I loved this one!!!!
Greek mythology was always a favorite topic of mine and reading a twist like this is amazingly amazing XD

- I loved Hades and Persephone they were amazing together XD

- I loved how he wanted her the second he saw her

- I loved how the author painted Hades as the good guy who always keeps his word and the other guys as the spoiled frivolous ones XD

- I was shocked when I read the description of this book because it contained a warning about a somewhat exhibitionist sex XD but yeah it was cool too XD

- I loved the ending, really loved it in how the heroine achieved her goal and at the same time showed Hades Taft she wants him more than anything

I love Jill Myles. I love myths and heroes. This is a great book.

Rose dies in a really horrible fashion, she's given a second chance at life by being reincarnated by her fairy godmother. In order to not become a ghost, her fairy godmother has a task for her. She has to retrieve a flower from the underworld and give it to her.

I love the way that Jill Myles combines fairy tales and current vernacular. I can't wait for the next in the series.

The ‘different’ scene in this one was that they were invisible and watched a couple have sex while he petted her. I must admit, the ‘different’ scenes (eg like the mirror scene) make these much better. Most erotica’s are all the same these days and even with these being fairytale retellings there’s not much different from any other hades and Persephone story I’ve read to date. It’s one of my favourites so I probably would have never hated this, but it’s nice to see some scenes that differ from everyone else’s.

It did not deviate too much from the original Hades and Persephone story but it's still an okay read for me. The overall plot where Rose is tasked to steal a flower from the underworld was very meh and the execution was lackluster. The chemistry between Rose and Hades saved this book for me, though.

Probably my favorite of the “fairy tales” with Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel being close behind. But this one probably had the least in actual emotional development between the characters- although that is in line with the original I’d hoped for more.

I couldn't finish this book... I got bored and stopped reading at the middle of it... and the book is only about 60 pages long, so that's saying Something!

I couldn't relate to the main characters and I felt No connection between them. There was No gradual building of their feelings for each other, just LUST... quickly formed Insta-Lust, that Came out of nowhere when the characters met.

Also, Rose didn't even care much that Hades fricking KIDNAPPED her! ... and even though they experience physical, Lustful moments together, I really didn't find the book Hot...

Overall, I didn't enjoy this book. But, again, I did not finish it... it might get better, so if you want to, do give it a try.

Rose didn't sacrifice herself. Unlike all the other heroines in this series, even the Snow Queen, she didn't try to be selfless and have her prize delivered to her. Nope. She was devious, fought for it and won it. Fair and square. Actually...she kind of cheated. It was awesome.
