The Billionaire Biker

Rate this book
Wild and reckless, and more at ease with his biker gang than his business partners, Sean Morrow has always longed for Abigail Prescott, whose life he ruined when an innocent friendship turned into a night of red-hot passion back when they were in high school. Now that his brother, Jax, has decided to hire Abby to work for the Morrows, Sean can no longer ignore his old demons—or his desire. It took Abby time to get over Sean Morrow…and then he walked back into her life. And even though she can’t forget the pain, she can’t stop fantasizing about their one erotic encounter…and she still craves his touch. What she feels for Sean is deeper than need. It’s pure, blind lust—and the feeling is mutual…

Jackie Ashenden

Jackie has been writing fiction since she was eleven years old. Mild mannered fantasy/SF/pseudo-literary writer by day, obsessive romance writer by night, she used to balance her writing with the more serious job of librarianship until a chance meeting with another romance writer prompted her to throw off the shackles of her day job and devote herself to the true love of her heart – writing romance. She particularly likes to write dark, emotional stories with alpha heroes who've just got the world to their liking only to have it blown wide apart by their kick-ass heroines.

She lives in Auckland, New Zealand with her husband, the inimitable Dr Jax, two kids, two cats and some guppies (possibly dead guppies by the time you read this). When she's not torturing alpha males and their stroppy heroines, she can be found drinking chocolate martinis, reading anything she can lay her hands on, posting random crap on her blog, or being forced to go mountain biking with her husband.

3.5 BIKERS STARS

This book started out being better than the others in the series. Sean was all dark and brooding and and ex-biker. I mean what more could you ask for. The sexual tension between he and Abigail was palpable.

But it just felt like things were rushed and that they made things difficult for each other for no real reason. Just to propel the story forward. Bust since they are all pretty short novella's its was easy to get through and it didn't take long to get sexy hot. He was dominate and it worked.

Sean Morrow was the outcast of the family, the bastard son of the patriarch of the family. The one that never was wanted and the one that always wanted to escape. Leaving one family that he never felt accepted in for another; this one a motorcycle club, Sean is finally ready to return home after five years.

Abby was unsure of herself, feeling unworthy expect for in the eyes of her best friend and only boy she had ever loved. But that boy broke her heart when he walked away from her five years ago. She's had to fight to prove that she isn't a failure and with Sean returning that fight just got a bit harder.

In the final installment of the Morrow Brother's we get to know Sean whose name had been dropped a few times here and there throughout both the prior books. I wasn't 100% on board with this particular installment and I can't really put my finger on why.

Abby was a fierce little heroine that had her share of battles and the scars to prove she won. I think for the first time in a long time I ended up liking the heroine a bit more than the hero. Sean was aggressive and an alpha but that persona just didn't fit with his more damaged side enough for me. I felt like we got two different Sean's and the two just never meshed into one in my opinion.

Over all, I still greatly enjoyed the series and the stories that Jackie Ashenden told. The high point was definitely Donovan's book, but the series itself fell around a 3.5-4 star read. I look forward to seeing what other works this author might have in store for us in the future.

After devouring The Billion Dollar Bachelor and The Billion Dollar Bad Boy of Jackie Ashenden's The Billionaire's Club Story series, it only seemed right that I requested the third book of the series, The Billionaire Biker, right away on Netgalley.

While each novella can be stand alone reads, I'd recommend reading the series in order to add more enjoyment to your reading experience. However, if a reader decides to randomly pick up one of the three stories, rest assure that each story can be well off on its own as each novella focuses on a different couple and plot.

What I enjoyed about his novella, although short, was that it didn't skimp on the emotions. There was emotional depth to the characters along with the story and that's always a big plus in my book when it comes to reading novellas. A majority of readers may dislike reading novellas, but I personally love them and when an author can deliver a satisfying and complete story in just 100 pages, that makes me a happy reader.

In comparison to the other two previous installments of the series, I felt that this one had a little more angst thrown in which is not a bad thing as it wasn't over the top. Here we have two emotionally damaged characters, Sean and Abby, who carried a lot of baggage, but I think that's what made them realistic and relateable. I sympathized and cheered for Sean and Abby as I went on this journey with them. Although I wanted to hit Sean on the back of the head a few times for his reasoning and behavior, I could understand where he was coming from due to what he went through in the past. As for Abby, I liked her as a heroine as she wasn't full of self pity even though she had suffered in her own ways emotionally from her effed up father. Between the two, she was definitely the stronger one and I think she complemented Sean well.

With emotional depth, drama, heated sex scenes and an engaging plot, The Billionaire Biker is a story that entertained me until the last page. For fans of billionaires and well written romance, be sure to check out The Billionaire Biker and the rest of the novellas in this series.

This is not the first book I have read by this talented author (I mean hello she is a Kiwi), but I can say it is one of my fave so far by her.

There are 2 previous books in this series, which I have not yet read, but this one can be read as a stand alone and you will still know exactly what is going on....that said I am going to one click the other 2 as soon as I am finished this review.

This is the story of Sean Morrow. He left home when he was 18 and joined a MC Club as there enforcer. Having grown up not feeling loved by his family, he is now 23 years old and believe love to be just a illusion.

Abby and Sean were best friends, until the night of their graduation were they became much more. Abby had always been in love with Sean, and giving him her virginity that night was something she wanted to do. However she did not expect Sean to up and disappear on her the next day and then not to hear from him for 5 years.

Sean is now back as his brothers want him to take his rightful place in the company and Abby as the PR person for the company has to make Sean presentable for the public image.

The spark is still there, along with a few secrets that will need to be addressed by the 2 in this steamy hot little romance that will leave you panting for more...

Short, Sweet, Sassy and above all a Sexy Read!!!!

Sean Morrow is an ex-biker. His club was going in directions he wasn't comfortable with so he left. His father was ill and his half brothers wanted him to come home and back into the fold. His past as an enforcer is going to be used in the family business. He doesn't want to be home but even after five years apart, he feels the pressure from his family. His life hasn't been easy by any stretch of the imagination and he carries his own scars because of that.

Abby, his former best friend and one time lover, works for his family's company now. Her job is to make Sean into what the company needs him to be. After the pain of an unexpected pregnany, a disowning at the hands of her parents and then a miscarriage, Abby knows what real pain is. She came out the other side of that pain and made herself a new person. She knew dealing with Sean would be difficult but she had something to prove to herself.

Neither of them were fully prepared for the attraction that was still simmering between them. They kind of fling themselves into a sexual relationship right off the bat. The problem was that I couldn't engage fully with the characters. They both felt cold to me. The sex scenes were hot but then Sean used a belt in one of them and I was done. If you like some BDSM in your romance, you might like this story, I however do not.

Sean that boy is just full of surprises and there's one thing we know off the bat the boy does not like being taken off his guard, "the shock suddenly vanished from his face as anger sparked in his dark eyes. "What are you doing here?" he demanded. Then he looked sharply at Jax and Donovan. "What the eff is going on?" Abby I loved that girl she knows how to put on a front, "now, I think we'll take all the shirts and maybe the ties, too, hmmm?" Jesus, so she was just going to move on as if nothing happened. It should have made him happy and yet all he felt was pi**ed. And turned on. And pi**ed that he was turned on." I mean Sean he should be glad Abby plays things off but the boy just gets irritated, "so we have sex on the damn table and all you're worried about is being late for this effing party?" I loved this story and I loved Sean and Abby and the fact that they have a past together makes it one interesting ride.

I was given a copy from Netgalley for an honest review.

Well written but nothing special. Story wasn't fun to read and the characters actions didn't always make sense. Why did she need punishment? I wasn't sold on the reason for that. It didn't seem like he cared that much about her before he left, but then there was this huge attraction upon his return. For only 100 pages, I'm surprised by how long I was bored. This was another book I made myself finish.

Third book about the Morrow brothers and The Billionaire's Club.
This time the protagonist is Sean the "younger brother" escaped in the past from everything and everyone, to join a gang of bikers.
No that he hadn't his good reasons to escape from the Morrow family, for whom he was just an awkward illegitimate son and not desired by his natural father and his stepmother. His half-brothers were too taken by their personal problems with the same family to make him feel accepted and the only person with whom Sean had established a good relationship of affection and friendship was Abby, a young girl from a family equally problematic.

Their relationship could become something more after a night of passion between the two of them, but Sean, was only eighteen, he had too many inner demons to be able to handle these new feelings that begins to feel for Abby and he run away, leaving the city without a word.
After five years the brothers manage to arrange a meeting with him, hoping to persuade him to return and take his place among them. To make sure to catch his attention they bring Abby with them, because there are things that have happened in Sean's past without his knowledge.
A beautiful story, exciting, although with a simple plot. Abby and Sean impressed me a lot with their story, it would have been simple to write a story less interesting about their new encounter , a second chance for Sean or maybe for both of us, after all the pain they have experienced and has characterized their childhood, but Ms Ashenden made a good story for them.
Intense and very passionate their relationship, is narrated and described with great skill by the author.
The only thing that I forget about them is that the two protagonists are very young, but in my head I imagined them a little older, because they lived through a lot of pain.
Thanks to Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for the book.

Terzo libro sui fratelli Morrow e la serie The Billionaire's Club.

A lot more angst in this one compared to the first two. The hero's bikie gang was a bit of a stretch in terms of their ethical and legal status. The hero probably needed to grovel more, he demanded a lot from the heroine, but didn't demand as much from himself. She probably gave in to him too fast as well. I enjoyed this, but not as much as the first two.

A bad boy biker gets the shock of his life when he is summoned to come back to the family. A woman that wants nothing more that meaningless sex from the boy that she fell in love with but can she truly keep her heart out of it this time around.

Abby Prescott and Sean Morrow knew each other since they were teenagers she lost her virginity to him but then he left. He left her in bed and didn’t look back. She needed him but he was nowhere to be found. Abby’s life changed forever when her father kicked her out of her home and she had nowhere to go but Sean’s brother, Jax, was there when she needed the help. He was the one that gave her a job and was there for her when she needed it. Now that Sean is back he gets surprising news but he knows that he deserves the anger that she has but she won’t talk to him. He has had 5 minutes to be able to deal with what she just told him and she has had 5 years to deal with the situation, if he only knew.

Things get heated between Abby and Sean. Sean’s brothers, Donovan and Jax, want him in the family business. Abby is leaving the Morrow Company as soon as her last assignment is over. Only that they both get caught up in the passion, the erotic playing that they start. Sean is a man that loves it hard, fast, bondage and spanking and Abby will give him what he wants as long as they don’t talk. I could see that Abby wanted to hurt him but in the end who’s really going to end up being hurt. Sean is all about rules and making sure that everyone around him followed them when he was an enforcer with a biker club but guess what he is no longer in that club he was now dealing with a woman that had feelings for him, that loved him. Could he not see that she was trying to push his buttons that he was trying to fight him in everything, trying to hurt him?

The Billionaire Biker I have to say is the book in this series that I liked the best. I don’t know if it’s because I can’t resist a hot biker or maybe because the chemistry between these two characters was explosive. Abby was a very strong woman but she carried so much anger in her that it was not letting her be happy. I understand that she was trying to prove something to her father but at the cost of living your life I don’t see how it was going to work. Then there is Sean the badboy biker that lived by rules. His life was not any easier than Abby but the difference was he ran away while she stayed and dealt with her cards. He was an enforcer and when someone didn’t follow the rules yes there were times that he had to get physical but I could tell he didn’t like it. He was a person that talked when something needed to be said other than that he observed. Well he had another thing coming with Abby.

When it came to their second sexual encounter I have to say was shocking not in a bad way because I love reading about bondage and spanking but the emotions that both characters were feeling. Sean was in over his head he was punishing her because she didn’t follow his rules. Only that Abby was pushing him and she could not believe that she was actually enjoying the pain that he has giving her and she broke Abby was finally able to talk and tell him exactly what she felt and how she felt when he left her, again she felt like she did something wrong. Then she gave him the pleasure the release or maybe the pleasure of knowing how it was for the control to be taken away and just feel, it was wonderful to see him just let go.

This series has been great and The Billionaire Biker was a great ending to this series. I totally recommend this read to all readers that love reading erotic. If you haven’t picked up this book or the other two installments in this series I totally advise you to pick them up.

I was curious when I saw the title. A billionaire and a biker? Do tell! This was the third book in a series, but I had no trouble reading it as a standalone. It’s both a reunion romance and a prodigal's return. While the story didn't wow me, it had some entertaining features.

The story opens with ex-MC enforcer, Sean Morrow, returning home at the summons of his brothers because his dad is ill and because they want him back in the family fold. Sean has been adrift for some time, but that doesn't mean that he wants to return to what he ran away from. His family rejected him as the unwanted half-brother and step-son before and he isn't inclined to let them have at him again. But Jax and Donovan seem to really want him back and have a different sort of job they want him to do in the family business and then they sideswipe him with, Abby, the girl he left behind.

Abby convinces herself that she can do the job of changing Sean's image and promoting the new Morrow building opening with no feelings whatsoever. She has moved on. She is moving on after this last job. Okay so she is still angry and hurt and has to lie even to herself that she's over Sean. He left her and then refused to contact her right when she needed him. This older, edgier Sean is more tempting than ever, but she'll scratch that itch and move on.

Sean feels he owes penance to Abby so he agrees to cooperate with Abby over whatever she thinks and he agrees to a one week trial to his brother's job proposal. The new confident, angry and sexually strong Abby turns him around so that he suddenly has thoughts of something more permanent even if he's terrified that he'll screw up and get rejected yet again.

Okay, yep, I admit I had certain expectations and the story didn't go there. It was like reading a therapy session more than a romance. Not that it was a bad thing, just not what I was expecting. I would have been content with this direction if the story would have felt complete. I wanted more of a well-rounded plot that addressed all the things the beginning of the story promised. The family situation with the dad and with the brothers was shoved aside for the most part leaving that hanging. Seeing his dad, the reason Sean came back, never even happened. He had a few scenes with his brothers, but it was swept into a quick resolve instead of some brother healing time. I get that this was a novella, but it probably was an issue of biting off more than it could chew in the short page count.

Sean and Abby had a lot of anger and past to deal with. They circled each other with words, denials, avoidances, angry sex- and wow did it get intense a few times- and accusations. It was two people doing a lot of bluffing and pretending though why I don't know since they weren't fooling each other. I really wasn't given a chance to get to know them when they weren't in that mode so it just left me with only a slight connection to the characters. I'm glad they worked stuff out and I'm romantic enough to want them to be happy together, but I wasn't swept off my feet with the end.

In the end, it was okay. It's quick and it’s hot. Those who are looking for that along with a tough reunion romance might want to try this one.

My thanks to Net Galley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

In Book Three of Jackie Ashenden's Billionaire's Club Series, we finally get to meet the real "Bad Boy" of the Morrow family. Tougher than tough but we soon discover that just like his two older brothers, Sean Morrow is a man to keep.

Abigail Prescott has loved one person her entire life. Not her father who constantly verbally abused her and not her mother who never stood up for her and who worried more about what the neighbors might think than what Abby needed. No, the one person she loved since forever was her best friend Sean Morrow. Except one night after a High School graduation party the two of them took things one step too far. Sean fled, leaving Abby alone and pregnant. After loosing the baby, the only person who stood by her was Sean's older brother Jax.. It's five years later and Abby is ready to leave Morrow and find her way in the business world, she only has one last job to do for the man who helped her survive, get his younger brother, the prodigal son, ready for life in the business world. So all Abby has to do is face the man who left her alone and pregnant...

Sean Morrow wanted more out of life. He just didn't know how to get it. When his father had an affair, he was the product.. His mother made sure to let him know that he was the reason his father refused to divorce his wife and marry her.. after his mother's death his absentee father swooped in and "saved the day" except all that meant was putting Sean in the hands of a resentful wife and ignoring him. Sean's life was miserable.. All he could think of was escaping but when he slept with pretty Abby Prescott he just knew he had destroyed that relationship too.. so he ran! He's back and has promised his brothers to give corporate life a chance.. Only when he discovers that Abby is going to be his "mentor" he is shocked.. when he discovers just what a mess he left behind, he is devastated.. But is he willing to give this new life a chance?

Way too short!! This was a beautiful story about finding redemption and as Carmen would refer to it, winning her back. I completely enjoyed this book and really loved watching these two find their way back to each other. Watching them face their fears and discover that yes, they were lovable. That no one had a right to define them but themselves. Of course watching Sean learn what a real family was, was also worth the read. Hard headed pain in the ass that he was. Sean really just wanted to be loved.

The general theme in this series was rather impressive and interesting. Each of the brothers was sure he was the outsider, that the others had it better. That daddy, the jerk, truly loved the others but had no use for him. It of course wasn't true, daddy dearest didn't give a rat's patootie about any of them. He was the shadow looming in the darkness that each had to overcome.

All I have to say is next time write bigger books *grins*. Of course in this particular case Ms Ashenden tells a beautiful story in so few words.

With each book in this series, we begin to gain a greater understanding of these men and the lives that have led them to this point in time. Five years after he realized he could never be what anyone wanted or needed Sean Morrow is back and being confronted by his two half brothers. Brothers who want him to take his place in the family business following his father’s death, brothers who have no idea what his life has been like, and a brother he owes because he cleaned up a mess he didn’t even know he left behind. Trouble is Sean has no idea how he can be an asset to the company after spending most of the last five years as an enforcer for the Avenging Angels motorcycle club but then big brother, Jax, pulls out the big guns, Abigail Prescott, Morrow Company’s Public Relations person and the woman he fled from 5 years ago.

Flat out Sean and Abby have some major issues to get past. Sean has a lifetime of disappointments to overcome and the hate he feels for himself over leaving Abby his best friend all those years ago. Abby knew seeing Sean again would be hard given their past but she’s bound and determined to pay Jax back for everything he’s done for her over the years before she leaves Morrow for her new job. She thinks she’s over the past, that seeing Sean and dealing with the fallout of him leaving is old news, but feelings surface and the revelations of what happened between them is something that can’t be ignored.

I really loved watching these two overcome everything that happened in the past and acknowledge there was still something between them. And holy smokes when Sean thinks he can scare Abby away with his dark desires and she just challenges him…the heat is turned up to scorching and it just goes on and on. Damn this author can write some sexy scenes and throw in a little dominance and some punishment that is satisfying not only to the characters but the reader as well.

While I did love this story, the characters were a bit immature at times and that is my one complaint. Yes, I realize they aren’t very old but one having spent 5 years in a MC and one being a PR representative for a major corporation, I expected more maturity out of them both.

However, The Billionaire Biker is supremely sexy, a little bit naughty, and every bit as thrilling as the other two books in this series!

Out of the three books in Ashenden's Billionaire's Club Trilogy, I would say The Billionaire Biker is the strongest. However, it has a few flaws that still left me disappointed, much like the previous books.

It's hard to tell a complete story in a novella, and I'm often harsh when rating them. But the truth is I was easily able to put Sean's book down, and that alone is never a good sign, especially when the book in question is only 100 pages.

I was curious about Sean's story from the beginning of the trilogy. I am not upset that I read TBB, but it did not live up to my expectations either. It was simply “meh”, the hardest opinion to explain, but I will try.

I had a problem with Sean's “dark past”. I didn't like that he threw it at Abby so late in the story. Ashenden did not give time for Sean, Abby, or the reader to come to terms with this (also, I never felt like Abby's secret was ever truly handled, though it was told in the second chapter, and it's a big one . . .). The scene in which Sean tells about his mother read more like a spoiled boy throwing a tantrum and yelling, not a strong man admitting his problems and opening up to the woman he loves.

The story was quick and the sex was pretty hot. It was an easy read, but also one I will no doubt forget within a week.

As I have said before, I loved Ashenden's Talking Dirty with the Player, and I keep hoping I will love another one of her novels just as much. That has not happened yet, I'm afraid. But I will still continue to try her books because her writing voice is clear and I have seen an improvement in her last few books.

For a hot quickie with a bad boy ex-MC enforcer, The Billionaire Biker may just work for you! On a side not, this series can be read out of order with no problem.

This is the third and final in the Billionaires Club series and I must say I am sad to see it end. Each book has drawn me further in to the Morrow family and their partners. Sean's story had a more intense and harder edge to it than the first two books and I thought the build up of the series was well laid out, each book adding more dimension to the characters and the storylines getting a bit grittier with each instalment.

Once again we see the story through both point of view's, which I really enjoy. It gives depth to the characters story a connection to their history even though it is a novella. Although it was a quick read, it was engaging, intense and full of steamy romance with a hard edge.

Both Sean and Abby have had traumatic pasts, each with their own baggage to carry, each with their hearts broken and closed off, coping with life the only way they know how. That is until they meet again after a five year absence. A heartbreaking secret is revealed and each are drawn to each other again in a tidal wave of passion and emotion. They each struggle to put their past behind them but realise that only in each other will they find solace. I felt the chemistry between these characters and I do love a second chance romance.

We do get glimpses of the previous characters in this story but I was a bit confused when there was only one mention of Van and Victoria and it was like they weren't really as together as per the ending of the previous novella. As this was the last in the series I would have liked an epilogue, not too long but something that would give me a good summary of where they have all ended up down somewhere down the track. I think that would have really tidied up the series and finished on a great note. This doesn't mean I didn't like this novella because I did. I loved both characters and this was my favourite of the series, just a smidge in front of Van and Victoria.

I have enjoyed this trilogy and look forward to reading a full length novel by this author.

Jackie Ashenden is a new author for me. I picked this up on the netgalley review site and enjoyed it so much that I went on to read the two books that preceded this one about the other two brothers.

Sean returns to town at the request of his brothers to help out with some negotiations they have with a builder. The builder himself turns out to be a surprise, but I'll leave that to you to find out. I am hoping, though, that there's also a book about him coming out soon.

Abby and Sean have a past; they were friends growing up, helping each other out because both their families treated them badly. But after one time being intimate together, Sean leaves town, his family, and Abby, and he joins up with a motorcycle club, ultimately serving as their enforcer.

Once Abby and Sean reconnect, the sex is hot, and both give each other what they need. And Sean is the epitome of a bad boy.

He'd always had a smoldering bad-boy look to him, even back when he'd been eighteen, but with the short sleeves of his T-shirt revealing tattooed biceps, and that slashing scar and broken nose, at twenty-three, he was the every definition of a sexy, dangerous, bad man.

I wouldn't call this an erotic book, per se, because the storyline is so strong, but the main characters do connect in a satisfactory way with lots of heat.

...he preferred his sex hard and rough. There was something satisfying in the violence of it, in the same way that beating the shit out of someone was satisfying. An outlet for anger and frustration. And he always chose women who liked it like that, women who could handle it. Who wanted it.

Although the book was short, Ashenden definitely tells a fully developed story that fully resolves itself by the end. And both characters help each other stop running from their pasts, their futures, and each other.

After totally savoring the first two novellas from Jackie Ashenden's The Billionaire's Club series, I immediately requested the third and final book from NetGalley, The Billionaire Biker, when it it became available. Each book can be read as a standalone, however, I recommend reading them in order to obtain the maximum enjoyability of all three books. This story is about Sean Morrow, the youngest brother of billionaires Jax and Donovan Morrow.

Sean lived a lifetime during his childhood. His mother, father, and stepmother never loved him and went out of their way to cause him amazing misery. Abby, Sean's best friend, was his reason for living. However, even she could not prevent him from escaping his family when he was reached the age of eighteen. Five years later, Sean returns to New York City at the request of his older brothers.

Sean is the epitome of a true tough guy, he is a former gang member and rides a Harley. Abby went through hell when Sean left and luckily Jax was around to help her through it. Abby is now a public relations guru and works for Jax and the Morrow empire. Abby and Sean have a history which rises to the surface upon Sean's return. Five years a part has not changed how they feel about each other.

Abby and Sean have a difficult time dealing with all the pain and anguish of the past. Their time together now is loaded with hot, steamy sex and emotional epiphanies.

Another well written story from Jackie Ashenden. The characters are well-defined, interesting and exciting. You will need two things while reading this novella; a few tissues for the tears during the emotional scenes and an icepack to cool down from the unbelievably hot sexual encounters.

Length: 1681 kindle
Style: New Adult Paranormal Romance
Story: FAIRLY GOOD
Intimacy level: GOOD
Enjoyment: FAIRLY GOOD
Series: ( The Billionaire's Club) book#3
Price: $2.99

The Good

The concept of this story. I liked the characters and the history between the characters. Although I was not able to read the first two books in the series, I was still able to follow the story. Sean is the black sheep of this family, but not in a bad way, although he had a hard time fitting with his family. With his past of being in a motorcycle gang and being the muscles, coming home put him in an different atmosphere. Abby was a character that had transform from the girl Sean knew in the past. It was exciting, interesting and fun watch both characters reconnecting as their attraction came full circle.

The Bad

It's not what I expected. By the title, I envision and expected certain things. I wanted more of a motorcycle feel, I wanted a little bad mix with the good. I felt it was in between, it wasn't bad and it wasn't good, so for me it was an ok read.

Overall

A nice read and story. I enjoyed the characters and the flow of the story. I felt a bit of disappointment because I was expecting certain elements to this story., however, still a nice read.

This book, while enjoyable, was definitely not my favorite of this trilogy.

I enjoyed Abby - she didn't let the fact that Sean disappeared right they had a night together ruin her life, even when it left her pregnant. She lost that baby but it didn't turn her bitter, just determined to build a good life for herself. The Morrow family (at least Donovan) helped her do that. Now she's ready to branch out into a new job and company, but before she does that, she's got one final assignment for Morrow: polish up Sean, who was finally found, but is now quite rough and tumble, having traveled with a biker gang for quite some time as their enforcer.

Sean wants nothing to do with his Morrow family because their father was, let's face it, a bit of a jerk. Okay, a lot of a jerk. But he's reeled back in and has to face the woman he ran away from many years ago. The heat's still there though and it doesn't take him, or her, long to give into it.
There's really not much I can say about this book. It's not that I didn't like it, I just didn't find it memorable the way I did the other two books in the series. However, it's definitely worth reading, at least in my opinion, if for no other reason than to get the last of the Morrow brother yumminess.

Thanks, NetGalley, St. Martin's Griffin, and Ms. Ashenden.

I received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

HOLY. HOTNESS.

Sean is my favorite Morrow brother. I haven't read Van's book yet but, yeah, sorry dear. Sean wins, hands down.

Going into this one, I *almost* forgot that Jackie Ashenden tears my heart out and makes me fan myself from the hotness at the same time. But yeah. Both of those definitely happened.

Once I started, I couldn't stop. And there's nothing in this, book 3, that spoils books 1 or 2, so that was a good thing to note.

The emotions were great, but I've come to expect great emotional tension from Jackie Ashenden. I'm always right there with the characters, in their pain, their hope, and their love.

I really, really loved the relationship with Sean and Abby. Everything felt organic, not forced or contrived, and the push and pull of their relationship was fun to follow.

PLUS THE HOTNESS. Dear jesus, there's one scene that's just...off the charts hot, with bonus strong emotions to make my heart die and then rebuild it. AND SO HOT. I mean, whoa. This is fanfuckingtastic writing. Pure and simple.

**I received a arc of this book from Netgalley for my honest review**

When I first requested to review this book I didn't realize it was in a set. Ok maybe I did with it's title. Or at least I should have realized. Also I didn't realize that this was the 3rd book in the series. So of course when I got approved to read this book I read it first.

Now that being said I think these books in The Billionaire's Club can be read as stand alones or you can read them in order. There wasn't much confusion reading them backwards.

Now onto my review, where should I start? Well let's start with Abigail or Abby as she's called through most of the story. It's obvious that Abby has gotten her life together after everything that has happened to her. Though I do feel as if as much as we all want to put the past in the past. That she really doesn't want to deal with it.

Sean oh Sean.... I really liked Sean's character and really felt for him. It's obvious that Sean is trying to find out where he belongs in life and within his family. Especially where he belongs with his brothers Jax and Van.

Warning this book does have some steamy sex scenes.

I would give this book a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

His brother's Jax and Donovan have dragged him back into the family company, this is the last place Sean wants to be. He spent all his time trying to escape his family. He was always the odd one out the thorn in his step mothers side, the bastard child her husband made while cheating on her. So the first chance he got he on his bike and never looked back.

He left Abby behind, his one time best friend they found a kin in each other both being outcasts to their own family. He had missed her over the years and felt back about how he left with out explanation, he took her virginity and rode out.

Upon is return to the company she is there waiting for him with the bomb shell she lost his baby! He doesn't even know how to digest that news never mind live up to the role his brothers want to put him in to help reinvent the business name.

These billionaire books are short, quick enjoyable reads. I have come to love all the brothers individually and Sean was no different.

It's Sean's turn to pick up the pieces of his past and let go of his issues.. Lets face it, it seems all these brothers had parental issues!
I loved the trip down memory lane between Abby and Sean, the teenage love that has never died and needed to be rekindled. Awesome!

The Billionaire Biker was an unforgettable romance, with so much heart and passion wrapped up in this book I read from cover to cover.

Sean now here is a hero that just made my heart ache for him. Ms. Ashenden did a brilliant job in creating Sean’s story with out making him sound odd. This sexy guy surprised me a few times, but in a good way. Sean needs closer on so many things, can returning into the fold after everything be the smartest thing for him?

Abby is a true sweetheart but truly I wanted to see her just once to slap Sean upside his beautiful head. The woman is a saint. Abby grabbed my attention from the first moment she is introduced, she is strength, love and loyal to all who matter. The question is does Sean deserve her?

Abby and Sean sizzle and pop from the moment they are reunited. Their bond is still there. I was on the edge waiting, the jug-head spoke and it was priceless. There are a few memorable moments between these two, but the one I will never forget is the moment he truly talked to Abby. My heart broke. After a live of disappointments can these two show each other how to truly love and forgive?

The Billionaire Biker is the last book in this trilogy it was a good way to conclude this trilogy.

Sean had a hard life growing up, he always felt unloved and unwanted. Abby was Sean's best friend, together they helped each other through the bad times they each shared.
Until one night after a High School graduation party the two of them took things one step too far. Sean does what he knows best and runs away from not only Abby but the Morrow family. Abby is left alone and pregnant.
After losing the baby Jax steps in and helps Abby, she is forever grateful for everything he has done for her.
Now five years later Sean is back and Abby is the last person he expected to see.
It was emotional seeing how Sean reacts to learning about the baby and what Abby went through. It leaves him feeling even more insecure and ready to run again.
The Billionaire Biker is a deeper story and it will pull at your heartstrings.

I was given an advance copy to write a review for Cocktails and Books.
THE BILLIONAIRE BIKER is an engaging book about a bad boy biker who has a hard time fitting in with his wealthy family. Sean Donovan ran away from the only family he had and Abby Prescott, the one person who cared about him. After leaving his family, he joined the Avenging Angels Motorcycle Club. Five years later, Sean’s brothers, Jax and Donovan insist he return home to work in the family business. When he returns, Sean is surprised Abby is working for his brothers. When Sean and Abby meet again, there is still a strong attraction, but Sean does his best to ignore his feelings for Abby. I liked Sean he is a tough guy, who tries his best to hide his tender heart. Sean and Abby have sizzling chemistry together and there are some steamy scenes between them. This is a fun, short read. It is the third book in The Billionaire’s Club series and each book is a stand-alone.

When Sean and Abby shared a special night together after being school friends for years, Abby didn’t expect Sean to desert her, nor did she expect to be a pregnant 18 year old kicked out of her parent’s house and relying on Sean’s brother Jax to help her out, through her miscarriage and to get back on her feet by offering her a job. 5 years later Sean is back and the feelings that he has for Abby turn out to have been buried deep but not forgotten. The attraction between them sizzles and being together again brings back old memories, and makes delicious new ones. I enjoyed the way this romance unfolded and the steamy heat between the characters as they navigate new ground. I also liked the interaction of Sean with his two brothers Jax and Donovan who have stories in the previous books in the series. Sean has lots of baggage as does Abby, but together they deal with it and make a new and happier future together. 4 stars.

The Billionaire Biker is the third book in The Billionaire's Club romance series. It is a well written and well edited novella.

As the youngest of the Morrow brothers, the Hero is literally the bastard stepchild of the family. He leaves his family and the heroine, his girlfriend, behind and eventually becomes a member of the Avenging Angel motorcycle club. He returns after five years to join the family business, but he discovers that his desertion of the heroine had a worse outcome than he can imagine.

The characters in this novella are interesting, but the plot is one we've all seen before. If this book had been longer I think the author could have fleshed out the plot to make the book more original.

If you are looking for a quick, easy romance book then I can recommend The Billionaire Biker.

The last book in the Billionaire’s Club trilogy features Sean (the prodigal) and Abby (the girl he left behind). Sean comes back after a summons from his older brother (Jax) and leaving behind his biker past. Abby is the girl he left behind…with the consequences of that one night (he didn’t know) which his brother Jax helped with. Confused? The author does a good job unfolding and explaining this. They have to work together one time before she spreads her wings from the organization he is about to join. Past and present collide and both have to deal with unresolved issues and attraction. While both seem a little too tortured when going about the whole thing, the interaction between them (both verbal and physical) was interesting enough to keep me going. A cute quick read.

I must be pollyanna today because ... this is probably more 2.25 stars? I gave it the 3 because it's well written... but ok in writing this I convinced myself to go with the 2 - it was okay.

I liked Abigail but she really never got over her issues and it was nice she and Sean worked through them ... but more like Tweens. Of course since they're both what, like 23? I guess they're acting how one would expect.

Sean totally has a chip on his shoulder and ... I get it, but geez his fucktherapy sessions with Abigail weren't really sufficient to deal with it.

I'm interested in reading the brothers' books - but this one I think happened a bit too soon for the hero and heroine. I liked it well enough, I just wanted MORE.

... but now I feel bad cuz I'd say this was a C- read so ... whatever - pick two or three stars as you like.

~*~My Thoughts~*~
A 5 Star Rating
So i might have started this trilogy a little backwards with reading the last one first lol. But either way glad i read this because i loved it. There's nothing better to me than a biker. Hence the main reason i requested this book lol. Sean was perfect i absolutely loved him. While at times i wanted to scream at Abigail i really couldn't because how she was feeling was definitely realistic. This book is a fairly quick read but definitely worth it. It doesn't feel rushed by any means and since they have a history all ready its not one of those instant love types. I really enjoyed this quick little read and now ill definitely have to read the rest of the series.
