This was a quick one, one where the best thing about it was the puns on porn titles.

Adding details to create sense for the next book

The last book ended with them not getting paid and medical bills. The next book is an expensive vacation. I guess this was needed to create the logical funds in between.

Short and sweet

Good thing this story was inexpensive as there are few pages. While it starts where the last book left off, it does not advance the story line in any real way so you are ok giving it a miss if you want to do so. You wont even notice the loss.

An entertaining short story. If you've followed the series, the characters are well defined, even Jitty. You are left with the plot that's not easy to untangle as are few stories of a short length until the climax, but it ends happily. I didn't care. I got my money's worth.

I would have liked to seen this fleshed out into a full-length book.

This is a very short in-between books novella. Another fun entry in the series

Listened to this short story only to see if Graf got smart & dumped Sarah Booth. Hint-he's a complete idiot and didn't. The "detective work" was dumb but expected for a short story.

More like a short story

This novella was easy and fun but left me wanting more of the characters. Fun if obvious storyline about a stalking case.

I love these Carolyn Haines' Sarah Booth Delaney books. This short story is no different! If you need a laugh, this is the place...just watch out for Jitty...you might scare her

I bought this book because it was $1.00 and, hey, it's Carolyn Haines, I love her Sarah Booth Delaney series. I knew it was a short story but I was okay with that. It was the perfect book to read during lunch and then move on to my other chores. I tend to get engrossed in one and forget about my chores. HA!!!

This book is a little tidbit to let you know what's going on with Sarah Booth and Graf between Smarty Bones and Booty Bones. A little something to hold the reader over.

I would recommend it to any romantic comedy/mystery reader, and, hey, it's only $1.00.

A short story in the Sarah Booth Delaney series. Sarah is a private eye with a hound dog to help her. Also, friends in various positions in town who can find out things about other people to assist her, like working for the news, bank and other places.
I'm not sure exactly what I think of this heroine. I enoyed the story and it was entertaining, but I'm not sure about the rest. I probably will read the first in the series to see if I can get more into it and learn more of the back story and just what is all going on.

This was far too short and just a tease. Sarah Booth is one of my favorite detectives and I'm always excited to read about her and TInkie's adventures. THis one just wasn't long enough. Looking forward to the full length novel coming out near the end of the month!

Cute, but really short. It should have been a free download for how short it was. I only paid 99 cents but that still seems too much. There was basically no mystery either. The main reason to read it was to get a check in with Sarah Booth, Graf, Tinkie and the dogs.

Love the Southern characters

Intrigued by the small southern town characters. Enjoy the friendships + Kitty is a hoot! I will continue with this series but short story is not enough!

This was actually a short story, but it was very enjoyable, and makes me look forward with anticipation to her next novel which will be out next month.

This is just a short story that bridges the gap between the last book and the new one coming out. I love these characters.
