Lilliet writes about what she has lived and learned herself from growing up as an Army brat, to being an Army (Colonel) Chaplain's wife for 30 years, and a believer for over 43 years. She spent many years in leadership, teaching, and speaking. Now she's focused on writing what God has taught her. Lilliet is a Christian personal-success life coach, and has been trained in leadership, communication skills, facilitating, temperament assessment, spiritual gifts, and Stephen Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.
Lilliet's passion is to share the gospel of Christ to all who will hear. God has a wonderful plan for our life, but we must believe He exists and turn our life over to Him, to see that wonderful plan unfold. As a solution-focused, practical-application author, she walks her readers through the Word of God which holds all truth. We can eliminate indecision, worry, anxiety, and depression from our life, once for all, when we pursue "right things" and God's Word is the most important "right thing." Living a blessed life is not impossible if you know where to go to find truth.

A book full of spiritual ingredients and food for producing fruit in our lives. A book that challenges to examine yourself or to bring light to areas we struggle in. There is hope in Jesus Christ. We should thank the writer for this insight.
Easy read. Simple direct message. Addresses many of the issues that hinder Christians from living the abundant life Jesus came to give us. Living abundantly means being free to contribute to building God's Kingdom. Living less than abundantly makes a Christian less effective, even to being totally useless and in bondage.
Easy to read, very straight forward. Full of relevant scripture that is very helpful. Not just a one time read, also a great book to have as a reference during pitfalls in our journey.
Excellent instructions for your walk with God. The author explains simply and with Scripture on running the race that God has put before us. This book is definitely life changing.
The writing style was pretty decent, but there is a lot of repetition I see in other Bible devotional books. I did enjoy how there as was plenty of scripture peppered with the author’s own words. It was a nice way to connect to the Holy Spirit in the morning.
"Getting Unstuck" by Lilliet Garrison is a decent self-help book with helpful tips and strategies for overcoming personal obstacles. While some of the advice presented in the book is useful, I was caught off-guard by the overuse of scripture and lack of a solid strategy to move beyond what's holding you back. There are moments when the book lacks depth, but it is alright for those seeking basic guidance on getting unstuck. However, it may not offer enough new insights for those well-versed in self-help literature and may leave some readers wishing for more concrete tools to break free from their personal challenges.
I enjoyed having so much scripture to accompany the points she made in this devotional-type book. For me, I prefer personal anecdotes about different struggles interspersed with all the advice. It could have been much better if the author had done that, but perhaps that isn't her style. It's definitely a short little book with only a few chapters.
Doesn't help get you unstuck the only thing if anything at all this book tells you to put your faith in god. The whole book is nothing but bible quotes. If I wanted to read the bible I would read the bible. Seriously get a bible it's exactly the same as reading this book only better.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with getting on the right track, as far as having God as your leader. No pressure, just helped in the direction I want to go.
