Nuevos personajes aparecen, la tercera generación de dragon slayer que prontamente piensan batirse con Natsu.
Con tal de recuperar el nivel y posición que tenía Fairy tail hace 7 años los magos decidieron entrar a un torneo que se realizar hace un tiempo donde todos los gremios compiten por ser el mejor. Pero tras un enfrentamiento de Natsu vs Max (uno de los miembros "débiles" del gremio) descubren que Natsu apenas puede con él y es que en estos 7 años ellos también han entrenado. Así como todos los magos de los demás gremios. Es por esto que deciden ir a entrenar, se dividen en Grupos y tras cierto inconveniente el grupo de Erza, Natsu y compañía no desperdician todo el tiempo, pero les llega la salvación... Aparecen Gerald , ulter y meredy (que ahora trabajan justos derrotando gremios oscuros como forma de expiación por todas las cosas que han hecho) y Ultear con su magia los ayuda a mejorar su capacidad para generar poder mágico. Y Erza y Gerald 😏 cof cof xd se dan un besitos aunque después él le miente diciéndole que tiene novia aunque Erza ya sabe que miente xd
En el último cap ya se dio inicio al torneo, se enfrentaron a la primera prueba y fairy tail por suerte logró clasificar dentro de los 8 mejores de 130 o algo así de gremios. Wendy anda perdida, que le habrá pasado? cual será la siguiente prueba? Y más importante, que será esa fuerza maligna que se siente en los torneos que Gerald pidió investigarán?

After seven long years, our heroes are back!!! Except their guild is basically one of the worst ones now, so it is up to our main troupe to bring back Fairy Tail's name to the top in what I call "the redemption arc". How will they do this? By entering the Grand Magic Games! I've ever only read up to volume 32 and I have up 36 so I'm actually really excited now because this is a new arc for me! This volume was great, a little bit of filler (like the celestial spirit stuff) but overall gave a great setup for this arc!

Well... I didn't think this was as good as the last volume. I do appreciate the gamble taken story-side by having Natsu and co, the folks who were caught in the time jump, be weaker comparatively than they used to be. And the party in the Celestial Realm, solidifying how much Lucy means to her summon spirits, was nice to see. But overall, I felt like this volume was a lot of exposition, talking and setup and it left me less than excited, sadly.

Seven long years have passed while Natsu and his friends from the island defeated Hades and the illegal guild, and the fame of the Fairy Tail guild has weakened - so they decide to enter the Wizard Games and prove themselves once again! Mashima will please fans with this engaging beginning to a new arc in an entry of familiar faces. What could possibly go wrong when guilds from across the globe come together?

EN RESUMEN
Natsu, Lucy y los demás están atrasados 7 años en lo que a magia se refiere. Para eso tratan de buscar formas de volverse más fuerte en poco tiempo para poder participar en los Grandes Juegos Mágicos.
ACLARACIÓN
Todos estos puntos están de alguna forma influenciados por conocimientos y opiniones que ya tenía sobre la historia gracias a la adaptación del anime y al ser esta una relectura.
ASPECTOS POSITIVOS
- Es algo muy personal lo que voy a decir, pero el no leer FT en bastante tiempo me hizo apreciar este tomo mucho más. Hasta sentía que los extrañaba a todos los personajes.
Salimos de un arco un tanto cargado, por lo que volver al slice of life/comedia fue lo mejor que me pudo pasar. Como dije antes, el punto más fuerte de esta historia son sus personajes y sus relaciones.
- Nos estamos acercando de a poco al misterio de los dragones. Por fin Mashima encamina la historia a cosas más interesantes e importantes.
- El ritmo. Mashima te metió un giro que lo cambió todo en la historia. Lo mejor que pudo haber hecho es tomarse las cosas con calma antes de meterse de lleno en otro arco de acción (y que mejor arco que un torneo).

- El dibujo estuvo bastante bien.
- El nuevo setting, nuevos personajes, mucha información, mucho misterio. El arco de los Juegos empieza super emocionante. Ahora me acuerdo porque lo disfruté tanto.

- ¿La excusa que usó Mashima para darles el power up necesario para competir en los Juegos? Pfffffffffff. Malísima.

El volumen 31 de Fairy Tail empieza un nuevo arco con un ritmo lento pero necesario. Mashima se encarga de asentar a los personajes en el nuevo ambiente y de dejar picando bastantes cosas interesantes para desarrollar a lo largo del arco.

Sabertooth is rank 1 and FT is the lowest ranked guild- Natsu is excited to be able to climb the ladder and become the best all over again.
Makarov takes Guildarts to a secret place below the original FT Guild. A place called the Lumen Histoire

Introduction to Sting and Rouge: the twin dragons of Sabertooth
Sting the White Dragon Slayer and Rouge the Shadow Dragon Slayer duo with their Exceeds Lecter and Frosch
They mention beating Natsu and being the best Dragon slayer,
Natsu had difficulty beating Max in a spa. The seven year gap allowed them to train,
Natsu doesn’t hold back
The seven year stuck main team (Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Wendy) go to Porlyusica to try and raise their magic
Master Makarov is announcing his retirement and is trying to appoint Guildarts as master, but he’s left, and left a note. In his note he gives a few orders as his new role. 1. Laxus is reinstated as a FT member 2. Makarov is the sixth master! (Back to master!) 3. For FT to be No.1 again
Porlyusica chaises the guys away, once they’re away, Wendy tells the others that her voice, and smell reminded her of Grandeeney (her dragon)
When Porlyusica see’s then not to long after that, she reveals that she is the Edolas version of Grandeeney- who wondered to the earth land many years ago
Porlyusica was able to telepathically talk to Grandeeney for some time, Grandee gave Porlyusica the help to teach Wendy two a Sky Dragon Ultimate Techniques that she didn’t get to teach Wendy before their disappearance
Romeo wants them to enter the grand magic games! A magic competition ! Some of the guild (the folk who are older) don’t think it’s a good idea.
Master Makarov was skeptical too, but then was swayed when he heard the winners get thirty million jewels
If they win, they will be No.1 again- even though they’ve lost every other time they were entered during the seven years.
They will enter in three months
Grand Magic Games Arc (MY FAVOURITE)
In order to catch up and prepare, they GO TO THE BEACH! In the celestial world?
1 day in the celestial space is 3 months in the real world so they lose their training time :(
The group is asked to meet with an anonymous persons, turns out to be Jallal, Ultear and Merudy. Crime Sorciêre
Crime Sorciêre has requested that while FT is at the GMG if they could investigate a weird magic that seems to gather, as a reward Ulter offers her Arc magic to unlock potential powers the wizards have (with the cost of pain)
Jallal and Erza go to talk privately, he shares his uncertainty with his right to live and Erza battles him verbally. They tumble and share an intimate moment, BEFORE HE SAYS HES ENGAGED???
Sting and Rogue, Sabortooth Guild Dragonslayers actually KILLED(!) their dragons and have lacrimas in their bodies; 3rd Gen Dragonslayers
All the contenders of GMG are told be at their inns by 12am, it’s a preliminary race in a sky labyrinth. There are 113 guilds and to lessen it, only 8 can win the race.
Wendy is missing but Elfman is the substitute for them while the other guild members go find her
The make it to the end, just barely coming in 8th
Happy and Lisana find Wendy’s purse on the walkway (I hope she’s okay 😭)

So begins a new adventure for the guild infamously known as Fairy Tail! This volume sees Fairy Tail coping with the 7 years of missing their top tier wizards and now in search of building back up the reputation of the once infamous guild. This is a much greater challenge then even the likes of Natsu, Ezra and the others thought it would be. An upcoming event called the "Grand Magic Games" opens up the opportunity to make the historic return to greatness, but is this beyond the capabilities of the guild? Art as always was lush and beautiful, and the story is fun and light. This volume has two celebratory moments in which truly feel like they are resting the cast and crew for something....BIG! I enjoy these times when they are laughing and bathing and talking, almost as much as when they are defeating opponents. Refreshing to both the Fairy Tail guild and the readers to have these issues.

3.5/5 It took 31 volumes but we all new the tournament arc was coming inevitably. We are introduced to a new generation of Dragon Slayers, Sting and Rogue, the twin dragons. They have both been trained by dragons and infused with Lacrima this will be interesting.
The volume starts out with our cast trying to spend a few month DBZ power leveling but circumstances comically get in their way. After agreeing to the tournament or the “Grand Magic Games” the members of Fairy Tail are finding out that the world has advanced over the last 7 years without them and they are not as strong as they assumed.
The plot is interesting so I’m withholding my opinion until later but this is a 10 volume tournament arc so I’m a little standoffish but the series has proved me wrong before.

The Grand Magic Games was one of my favorite arcs back in middle school so I’m excited to start this one!! Also if I recall correctly, it was where I left off with Fairy Tail back in 2014, so I’m finally catching up to where I was! In this volume we see Fairy Tail head to the city to compete in the Grand Magic Games but not before meeting with Jellal and co. who tell them that a dark force is growing in the games. The preliminary game starts to weed down the number of guilds participating, Wendy goes missing, and Sting and Rogue are introduced!! So excited to see the pvp battles again in the upcoming volumes.

Now this is what I love about Fairy Tail. They see a challenge and they face it head on and work towards it. I really appreciated the hell out of the celestial spirits moments in this and also independent guild moments. I was happy to learn more about dragon slayer magic and it makes me so read to learn more about these games and what’s really behind them.

Dieser Band enthält sehr viele logische Schnitzer, auch wenn das ein oder andere selbst angesprochen wird. Und ich finde es ja furchtbar, dass mich Fairy Tail mit dem "teuflischem Bösen wird vergeben und wiedereingeführt als Freund", aber ich mag das Pairing ErzaxJellal.
Ansonsten enthält der Band viel Fanservice. Aber auch die Stellargeister tauchen alle auf und die mag ich fast alle!

I don't know where I noticed, but this is about halfway through the full series, so probably around now the characters, possibly adults, will have a sharp increase in nudity-suggested or lack of clothing and it cheapens their previous characterizations in favor of a lot of fanservice fluff.

i toss between thinking fairy tail is shit and being pretty decent constantly. this volume was like 45% shit and then 55% pretty decent LOL man that jerza scene im going nuts 😭😭 one thing though, the seven year time skip is just like so stupid why did mashima do that. whatever… takes a long drag of my cigarette…

En vrai j'ai réfléchi au fait que l'équipe Natsu etc. ont "disparu" pendant 7 ans et je trouve que c'est un peu facile quand même, mais bon j'aime toujours autant le pouvoir de l'amitié, de l'amour et de la vie 😩😂✨

The Grand Magic Games arc begins (one of the longest in the series) and after the events of the Tenrou Island arc it was nice to have a more laid back volume before we get into the thick of things.
