I really love this series and the character building which is happening within the story. The secondary characters are as intriguing as the main couple. The humour and banter between the alpha males is funny, especially when Scarlet gets involved as I am sure she gets fed up of their constant ‘flexing of the muscles’ haha!

One of the things I also like is how easy this series is to read. The words flow nicely and there are new characters introduced to keep the action moving continually so your mind cannot wonder. I like to switch off from life when I pick up a good book and this authors books allow me to do that.

The lust and connection developing between Archer and Scarlet burns just as bright as the fires Scarlet can create. The only irritating element (which I have seen in many books) is the many interruptions which prevent the deed being done!! They both need to go to a distant desert island without, dangers lurking around every corner, phones ringing at the wrong moment and other people interrupting them just as they are about to rip each other’s clothes off lol! Evi Asher you certainly win the cock blocking award on behalf of your poor characters. They need to work out a good punishment to have their vengeance on you or I will do it for them hahaha!

I am not a violent person, but this book at one point made me want to scream at Ms Asher for the emotions she invoked in me. It would have been worse if the third part wasn’t out, but seeing as it is I will forgive her ;) Off to read the third instalment which continues Archer and Scarlet’s story, I cannot wait
