A delightful budgeting pep talk with no shame or guilt. Would recommend for anyone who would like to feel more direction in their personal spending. Mental blocks are discussed, lack of motivation addressed, and practical steps are broken down in an approachable way.

I have always identified as a spender and, frankly, never in a positive way. But this book helped me see that I don’t have to change my desires for nice things in order to finally get a handle on my budget.

Too many financial books and advice teach you that self- denial and living without is the only way to find financial stability. This book finally gave me hope that I could buy nice clothes and still have money! And since reading this, I’ve made more positive financial changes in my budget and savings goals than ever before. Highly recommend!

Emily persuades you that budgeting is empowering. My favorite line from Emily’s book is “The solution is almost always found in action.”
