Dark Light picked up where the first book left off. The heirs struggle to meet up and stop the bloodshed that is coming. Seva struggles with the power from the web of light. She is believed to be the goddess but can she lead a people who are not her own? Is the web of light really a gift or a curse in disguise?
Valdor struggles to prove his worth and stand out of the shadow of his father.
War is coming, but who will be left standing in the end?
A hard book to put down. I was captivated from the first page and read it all in one sitting. The story sucked you in and left you guessing what would happen next. Each of the heirs grew and find their own path out of the shadow of their parents. I loved the characters and the flow of the story. Expect to be surprised with the book. The ending was unexpected and not what I was hoping for but it was still satisfying and a great read.
