It's the wedding of the year and the Smith clan jet off to Disneyland Paris to witness Gerald and Wayne tie the knot in a lavish ceremony. However where Granny Smith goes trouble is sure to follow, and as the big day approaches our intrepid sleuth finds herself up to her neck in the usual murder and mayhem.
It's Miss Marple on steroids in this the third book in the hugely popular Granny Smith series.
Being a big fan of Murder, She Wrote, I love these kinds of stories. Good ole Granny is at it again. Even on vacation in Paris, planning her son's wedding, there's always a crime to be solved. Granny is in the park across the street, sitting on a bench. Wanting to see her hotel room through her binoculars, she witnesses a murder in the room below hers. As always, the police just think she's a crazy old woman and don't believe her. So, She investigates herself. So good!!
Awesome! Can even Disneyland cope with the force that is Granny? Will the wedding go off smoothly? Will she sort out the latest mystery? Absolutely love Granny. More please. Highly recommended.
Granny Smith and her family are in Paris for the wedding of her son Gerald to his love, Wayne. And You know Granny, wherever she goes, a murder turns up.
At least it seems so.
He spies a woman smashed up against a window in the room below hers when she's checking out a pair of binoculars, blood running as she falls, dragging the window blinds down with her. Though it only took twenty minutes for Granny to alert the authorities and all get up to the room.
Which was pristine and no body to be found anywhere. They maid in the hall says no one had come out of the room recently.
The police think she's nuts, off her meds, her family doesn't want her spoiling the wedding, and Granny is determined to prove there was a murder.
I'm not going to sock puppet and make up a name to review this book, but I will admit here that I wrote this novella which continued my Granny Smith series. I, for one, think it's cool.
