Four teen-age girls just want to shop for stylish shoes, having no idea what to do when civilization fails them. With no one else to lean on, Stacey seeks her inner strength and wisdom to guide them though the coming winter and protect them from the rest of the city trying to survive the same. On Thanksgiving she lived the life of a superficial little girl most worried about trendy fashion; scant days later she wonders if she will even see Christmas.
