The Flip It Around Method is designed to help the reader turn negative situations, thoughts and feelings into positive ones. People that use this method do so for two primary reasons. One is that they may be seeking a new perspective on life. Perhaps they know they are intended for more and feel a greater calling on their life, but find themselves influenced by negativity and it hinders them. Or, they may not realize just how much they self-sabotage their own success until they have a chance to see a new angle to what their life holds for them and desire a guide to show them the way. By using the Flip It Around Method, they can begin to feel hope again, and see a brighter future ahead.
I am a pessimist. While I'm not entirely prepared to embrace it, I have in fact been described as a cynical old coot. So, I come to a book like this with something of a jaundiced eye. I was surprised at the substance in the book, nonetheless. At the start, I asked myself, "Sure, but what do you do when someone's coming at you with a knife?", and by the end, I was able to understand that seeing possible escape routes, even in this dire a situation, necessitate some form of the "Flip It Around" method. Once one embraces the startlingly unassailable notion that subjective perception is necessarily restricted, it follows rather logically that embracing the "Flip It Around" method can reveal perceptions not previously known, and can enrich one's life accordingly. It was a surprisingly good read.
