Guilt by Association: Despite the heavy and serious theme (rape) and content, this book was very easy to read owing to Susan Sloan's excellent writing style. The story flowed beautifully. It was well crafted and delivered. A very satisfying read!
An Isolated Incident: So much more than just a whodunnit - a social commentary with rich characters sewn into a story excellently told
I have only read "An Isolated Incident" and I wasn't overwhelmed by the story so have not got round to reading the other novel in the omnibus. It was ok, nothing standout, a murder of a young girl in a small town, nothing hugely gripping.
