Trapped together in a snowbound cabin in the hills, shapeshifter Grant Jamison and human Thomas “Tom” Harkins find themselves in very close quarters. Despite never having been with a man before, Tom is strangely attracted to the mysterious stranger, and before long the two find themselves closer still.

It’s only been a few days since Tom broke up with his cheating girlfriend, and the betrayal has left a scar on his heart. He’s not willing to rush into anything, especially not with someone he barely knows.

Grant has a secret he’s been keeping for years. He’s a shapeshifter, able to take on the form of a wolf at will. Given how hard a time Tom is having just with dating a man, though, how will he react when he finds out Grant isn’t completely human?

Will the romance survive the hard times ahead, or will it all come crashing down before they even make it back to the city?

First off...this title and even the blurb is not fitting for the story. Cabin fever and the blurb both say that the couple is in the cabin dealing with a mutual attraction while one character happens to believe he's straight...well that describes like the first 10 pages....max! The other 90% of the story is something totally different!
I did really enjoy Tom and Grants story but the name Tom is the opposite of sexy!
In the second installment of this series seems to rely on Grant being able to tell Tom that he is a werewolf. It felt like that was the entire point of the book. If every shifter/paranormal book relied solely on "outing" to provide a plot or entertainment then every book would be the same and ppl like me wouldn't be buying them. I found this really strange bc in Unattainable there was a story progression outside of the "hey im a shifter" convo.
I was also a little confused how this books characters were chosen. In the first book we were introduced to Micky and his friends 2 males and 1 female. We were also introduced to Bill and Snow, friends of Hudson. So when I realized that the character Grant is just a friend of a friend I was confused why the author wouldn't use the characters already set up in book one. But it's all worked out I suppose!
Cute book but iffy series as a whole...
