So there are many different ideas in this world, and some that I don't believe, but am willing to be educated on. Palm reading is one and really this book could not convince anyone of anything. It goes into some detail on the lines on your hand but in a very unconvincing manner and states things as facts without any evidence to back it up. You would need a lot more faith to believe this than you would in Christianity! Score Check: Things I Don't Believe #1
There has got to be better introduction books to palmistry out there. The illustrations were not very detailed so it made it hard to determine the different hand and finger types to then learn what the author is talking about.
It's not completely useless though, there's a small amount of history - and I'm sure the author was correct in what was written. I just felt like the negative human traits, jealousy selfishness etc, were brought up more frequently than the good human tendencies, compassion curiosity etc. Maybe my hand exhibits more negative qualities than positive ones, which is something for me to sit with, but it's very annoying being told by a book repeatedly that I have a jealous insecure nature.
