This "I Love Reading" rebus reader uses pictures within the text and basic sight word vocabulary to introduce early reading skills.

Children will enjoy reading about activities typically enjoyed on a day off from school due to a "snow day."

Rebus books help a child recognize that print carries concepts and will help them see how print moves across the page.

Snow Day introduces words directly from the Dolch Sight Word list for beginning readers.

Children will love that pictures replace the tricky words; thus, streamlining the reading. This is a short book that will encourage children to begin reading. The text and illustrations are clear. Because this book is short, the child will have a sense of accomplishment quickly.

This book was a cute one, it is one of the photo readers. Had pictures in the middle of sentences for the kids to read along!
