'Four years together, and I still felt every kiss all the way down to my toes. He had a gift, and I wasn’t shy about accepting it.' ~Lucy

Dreams really do come true
Lucy and Jude have come far in the past four years, and it was far from easy. The book kicks off with Jude being drafted in to the NFL. Finally he’s got the girl, his dream job and the means to keep them living comfortably. Lucy is definitely happy for him but she Is also scared. She is aware that money can change people, with Judes hefty seven figure contract her fear is escalated.

What exactly is it that Lucy fears? Is it losing Jude? Or is it losing herself? This chick was a wreck.

Coast to coast
Jude is in sunny California for training camp while Lucy is in New York taking a summer class. Loneliness has her asking Holly and little Jude to move in with her. Meanwhile she finds a summer job working for India’s brother, Anton. Anton is very up front with his desire to explore his feelings for her. And Lucy is very honest about the fact that nothing will happen between them. Too bad Jude sees her in a…compromising position.

My Thought
Unfortunately this book did not work for me for a number of reasons. It was clear that Lucy and Jude loved each other but it was also clear that they never discussed their future. How is it possible for Jude to NOT know Lucy wanted to travel the world as a dancer. Can you say lack of communication?
He wants to marry you that is clear
–She says yes
-He gets drafted in to the NFL
–All she can think about is dancing not planning a wedding not trying to at least be on the same coast as her man whom she claimed to love

WHAT THE FUCK? Lucy had too many issues. And I do not think the book easily conveyed them. I get that she is a young woman trying to find her place in the world. But something else was lurking under the surface. Fear. And instead of just saying that she acted out like a damn child.
- She was sad Jude bought a new truck
- she was not really excited about him being a millionaire even though he earned the money might I add
Then she was mad when he bought THEM a house. The guy could not win. The only thing I did understand was her wanting to be independent by earning her own money. Problem is the man you love is willing to do anything for you. He was willing to stop playing football after his 3 year contract was up so she could live her dream out and dance. Can you believe that shit… THAT’S LOVE.

Overall
I thought the story was very lack luster. Compared to its predecessors it can be classified as average. Jude came off as a controlling cave man. Lucy was just an idiot who failed to express herself properly. After reading a few chapters you get the feeling she was trying to find her own way in the world. But every time she tried to explain it to Jude it came out all messed up. I know I would have liked this book more if she was able to explain her future plans better. Jude was straight forward, she was his future EVERYTHING he did included her. Lucy was all me me me. You know what screw it I can’t even talk about this any more.

My Ratings

Plot/Storyline- Mediocre

The third and final Jude Ryder and Lucy Larson book.... When I first read Crash, I fell in love with Jude Ryder. I loved him in Clash, and after reading Crush, I may love him even more!

My Jude Ryder
 photo 925da762-9b77-4451-aa65-38fb33805aef_zpsc726ac50.jpg
“Here's what I know about Jude Ryder... He’s fine, he has a nice ass, and can make you blush after four years together.”

Crush starts off three years after Clash left. Jude and Lucy are still engaged and they are done with their third year of college. Lucy is still dancing, Jude is still playing ball. They are easy going college students. They are happy together. Big things are happening. Jude gets drafted into the NFL as a star quarterback moving him clear across the country from Lucy. Jude wants to be married to Lucy. And sooner rather than later.
“I want you in every way a person can be with another. Every way. I want you as my wife. My. Wife.”

Lucy is having some issues with this. She doesn’t want to rush things. She wants to live her dreams as a dancer and is kind of freaking out with Jude moving cross country, getting all this money to play ball. She doesn’t like all the changes.

Lucy Larson

Oh my Lucy... I understood where she was coming from to an extent. But sweet baby jesus... this is JUDE RYDER we are talking about. Who the hell passes up the chance to move across country with Jude and marry him? I know her independence and dreams are important to her, but if I were Luce, my ass would be on the first plane to California transferring schools and being with my man.

While Jude is in CA, Lucy is in NY. Holly and LJ move in with her and she gets a full time job. She is working for her bff’s brother, Anton. Anton has the hots for Luce. Yup. Trouble. There is a lot of up and down in this one.
Up, down. Round and around. Rinse and repeat. That was our pattern. That was our world.

In the end, Lucy came around. But not before some trouble and turmoil. She realized what (or who) was really important in her life. Jude had it right all along.
 photo 112262ba-1e50-4eb6-b6c2-73c77f3d82ba_zps1318eb2f.jpg

I am kind of sad this is the end of Jude Ryder. I will miss one of my favorite book boyfriends- but I’m happy he got the ending he deserved. I was really happy by the end of the book. Even though Lucy aggravated me at times, I still really like her as a mc. She is spunky, fun, and good for Jude most of the time. Jude and Luce were HOT together in this book... The first 2 in this series were not this hot, so I was very happy to see that! It was nice to see more from Holly, little Jude, Thomas and India(but I was NOT happy with her brother).

The epilogue was WONDERFUL! Some people may have trouble liking or relating to Lucy for some of this book. I wanted to give this one 5 stars, but I will have to settle with 4 for most of the story- but the ending was 5 stars for sure!!! I think that most people that loved the first two books in this series will love this one too! So if you are a Jude fan like me, read on and get your Jude Ryder fix <3

Bumps in the road were a small sacrifice to make for that kind of love.

“Are you saying that you’re with me, Luce, no matter what comes?”

“I’m saying I’ve always been with you, Ryder. And I always will be.”

Crush just made me remember why Lucy and Jude are one of my favorite book couples. Yeah, I get that their relationship isn't an easy one and their personalities clash a lot. But it's the way that they work it out and fight for it that makes me adore them more. There's always one that caves after every argument. Sometimes it's Jude, sometimes it's Lucy.

Lucy is the usual snarky, independent and no-nonsense girl we met back in Crash. You can see how she matures in this book. For instance, instead of going on an all-out screaming match with Jude, she tries to hold her tongue and calm herself before she says anything she regrets later. There are still times where I want to shake her so bad because she's so infuriating. I don't even have to go there. I can't give anything away.

Jude.. *sighs* My sweet Jude Ryder.. Do I need to say more? You can't help but love the guy. Yes, he's got anger issues but at least now, he tries to control himself. He's got insecurities that's why he's too overprotective when it comes to Lucy. And he's still afraid of becoming his own dad. Yep, one of the many reasons why Jude is Jude.

This line makes my heart swell:

"That it doesn't matter why I ran," he said, staring at me without blinking, "because I came back. I'll always come back, Luce. No matter how many rip-roaring fights we have and no matter how many miscommunications we have. I'll always come back because you're where I belong."

This book is the perfect conclusion to Lucy and Jude's roller-coaster romance. I love how it ended and there's no doubt I'm going to miss these characters.

P.S..

LJ, you're the man, little caveman!!! And to you, Anton.. EFF YOU!!!

Okay, so last night, I was watching this ballet movie called Center Stage (I was 12 years old when I first saw this movie) and this girl reminded me of Lucy. Her real name is Amanda Schull and yes she's a real ballet dancer. Oh lookie! I found these pictures of a younger Amanda.

This is the final chapter of Jude and Lucy. I'm sad to see them go, but very happy with how it all turned out. Lucy drove me a little nuts with her wanting her independence, ok she drove me bat-sh*t crazy, but i tuned her out and focused on the sweet, amazing, HOT, Jude. This book was soooooo good because of Jude. The epilogue was the BOMB and I'm now dealing with a JUDE hangover.

"With a guy like Jude Ryder at my side, the lows in my life were lower and the highs were higher. this was our reality, our story....our love story."

This is where it all started....*sigh* "The name's Jude Ryder, since I know you're all but salivating like a rabid dog to know, and I don't do girlfriends, relationships, flowers, or regular phone calls. If that works for you, I think we could out something special."

Jude Jude Jude.......If I had to rate Jude and Lucy separately. He would get a 5 and Lucy would get a 2. First lets discuss Jude. From book 1 to 3 Jude transformed from the lost boy who didnt think he had much of a future, to a man that was strong, hard working, cocky, dedicated, protective, faithful, fun, and sexy. I think i loved him more in this book. He was so supportive of anything Lucy did, loved her to a fault, loved her above himself. He deserved his success for sure.
I didnt like how Lucy treated him for pretty much the whole book. It was only the last 90% that she stopped being a selfish bitch. And I liked Lucy in the first two books. I was really ticked that I did not like her in this one. She was moody, selfish, unsupporting, ungrateful, snappy... the list could go on. The only nice thing she did was the dinner and tie surprise in the beginning. How many times did this man beg and plead to solidify their relationship!!! I was screaming in my head " are you nuts, lock that fucker down now!!" Total no brainer right?? Its Jude Ryder for the love of God. If she told him "soon" one more time i was gonna throw something.
Lucy was just so damn selfish it was frustrating. From his draft, the house, the move, the traveling, making a commitment, this bitch wouldnt throw him a bone! But Jude never wavered, cuz thats how amazing he was. You may not like Lucy, but you will L.O.V.E Jude. He made the entire book, hands down.

Anyway, loved that Holly was back and LJ. Anton, I knew was trouble, and I didnt like him one bit.

Finally done reading CRUSH.

OK, I had to actually review my own reviews on the first and second book of the series, CRASH and CLASH because I – unfortunately - could not find myself enjoying CRUSH as much as I enjoyed the last two books.

Review
2.5-3.0 stars
Let’s recap the blurb of CRUSH… when I at first read the blurb I was not really excited… actually pretty depressed. Everything seemed to have worked out at the end of book two but the following parts of the blurb caught my attention:

'Once again, the hottest couple around is torn apart, this time by football training and a summer job. Now it's Jude with the trust issues.

Will Lucy's life-changing news bring them back together or end their relationship for good? Can love triumph forever?'

My initial reaction was as followed:
‘Come on! No way! Now it is Jude with trust issues? And Life-changing news? Why do I have a feeling Luce will

I was worried that I would not enjoy CRUSH and I was…right.

After reading CRUSH
CRUSH is the third book and final book in the CRASH series. I am not even sure if a third book was necessary. CLASH ended with Jude proposing to Luce…I have not tagged this as spoiler because I expect you to have read the two other because before you start reading CRUSH, right? Anyways, so they ended CLASH with them being engaged and all…And honestly that could have been a perfect ending. Just write a happily ever after epilogue and CRUSH was really not needed. So don’t feel obligated to read CRUSH actually…

Not even into 50% or even 20% of the story and I was already ready for the happy ending…because I was not sure if I was into the drama all over again.

I don’t have a problem with Jude and Luce when they are happy together. Really, if they are happy and not fighting the story characters would be OK. So together they are lovely, sweet you know the Luce and Jude I liked in CRASH and CLASH… but when ‘separated’ they are not But that is because they have a fight or argument at E V E R Y page. I mean really EVERY page. And I just didn’t want to relive all the drama all over again because they could have easily prevented it.

‘How had we not worked this out before? Maybe because we’d been so busy living in the moment, or stumbling over our pasts, we’d forgotten to look ahead. We’d missed the future part of our relationship.’

If they have trust issues: marry each other. If they know they were followed by paparazzi: don’t do stupid things in public…
But because I didn’t want to label it as ‘did not work for me’ or ‘did not finish’ I had to read it. It was my own decision. I was glad I did finish it I think because now I can move on now without regretting not reading it. Though I did skimmed 50% of the story…But now thinking about the whole series as one I guess drama and all was part of the story and the author did deliver the story in a nice way.

‘With a guy like Jude Ryder at my side, the lows in life were lower and the highs were higher. This was our reality, our story… our love story’

Aaah, what a great way to end such an amazing story!
I really loved and enjoyed this trilogy! So much happened from the first to the last book!
“That it doesn't matter why I ran, because I came back. I'll always come back, Luce. No matter how many rip-roaring fights we have and no matter how many miscommunications we have. I'll always come back because you're where I belong.”

I'm in love with Jude Ryder, that's it, I don't know how the hell I'll get over him. He's so hot and perfect, even when he went all ape shit over something I wanted to climb him like a tree.
description

Unfortunately, I couldn't connect with our main character, our dear Lucy. I don't know what happened, I liked her in the first book, then she became irritating, selfish, and annoying and I couldn't stand her. I tried, believe me, but it was so difficult. If it wasn't for her behavior I'd give this book 5 BIG stars but yeah, no.

Puting aside my "almost-hate" for Luce, her relationship with Jude was so sweet. They had so much chemistry and passion together, I loved it. Oh, and thank you Nicole Williams for the steamy times... Those were pretty hot by the way.

Crush was the perfect conclussion to a great series. It was such a fun ride, I truly enjoyed Jude and Lucy's roller-coaster and I couldn't be more happy about their HEA!

4 Exploding, Emotional Stars!
Jude Ryder, I Will Always Love You! Yeah, I'm A Total Cougar But Who Cares... Its JUDE FREAKING RYDER PEOPLE!

The Review:
I’ve loved this series from the beginning and though this book had its issues, I still love this story as a whole. I love Jude and Lucy’s story. I love their history and I love their relationship. Lets begin...

Characters...
You know the usual suspects in this line up. We have Lucy and Jude, Holly and Little Jude, Thomas and of course India, all of which I loved seeing again. We also get introduced to India’s bro, Anton and a new bff, Sybill. But lets talk about our mains...

Lucy...
I have adored Lucy from the moment we met her on the beach in the first book. She was strong, brave and a force. Yes, she was a bit confusing at times, but she’s young and just as hot headed as Jude so I was able to overlook some of the major conflict she seemed to create just by breathing. But in this book, its like our Luce was absent and this inconsiderate, selfish, whiny, fearsome, “its all about me” chick took over and stuffed Luce in a bag in the back of her tiny closet!

Jude...
I will forever and eternally love this character. His love for Lucy, even after everything she’s put him through, is so hot and passionate and just Uhhhhhhh! That boy/man melts hearts wherever he goes, draws attention from across an airport but he never sees anyone other than Luce. Ever!

Jude and Lucy.. Together...
Lucy and Jude are still stumbling along when this book opens up. They’ve been together for four years with their relationship and with all they’ve been through, all the history they have, they still have a huge mountain of uncertainty to climb over.

Jude is drafted to the NFL and he’s going across the country, wanting Lucy to hang it all up in New York and go with him but she wants to forge out her own path, maybe even dance after she finishes college. They clash about money, about the distance, their jealousies, their futures, basically everything. Jude wants her to commit to marriage and she’s ok with being engaged but she also wants to follow her own dreams instead of giving it all up for Jude's dreams.

I was conflicted as much as they were. On one hand I wanted Lucy to follow Jude to wherever his road took them because ultimately, he was working towards “their” future. She was all he thought about, all he cared about, all he wanted out of life. The money from playing football was just to set them up, have security, something he never had. But I understood her independence and her desire to follow her own dreams. Jude wanted to take care of her, provide and protect her. She wanted to know she could succeed on her own, be her own person. Their conflict was real, it was genuine and understandable. I got both of their points and was pulled in different directions just as they were. As a reader, I desperately wanted their HEA after all they’d been thorough. But the author proved once again she knew best because Jude and Lucy had a bit more maturing to go through before they reached their HEA, and I love all the angst ridden moments, all the tension filled circumstances and all the passionate embraces we got to have right along side them as they found their way to their happily ever after.

The Side Stories...
There’s romance in the air and its not just between Jude and Lucy this time. Holly finds an unexpected attraction and I think it was a perfect union. The little family that’s formed between all the friends is sweet and I love what their future looks like. Little Jude or LJ as he wants to be called now, is a hellion but so freaking adorable! Thomas proves how valuable he is to their group as he stands up and takes care of his girls. India is just as provocative and outlandish as always.

The Wrap Up:
Crush is the end of a beautiful, heartfelt journey. One for which I have lived, breathed, thought about, dreamt about, talked about and absolutely loved since the moment I picked up that first book, Crash, and read the first words ”Summers turn me into a sucker...”.

When that book ended, I felt like a piece of my heart had been ripped out and given to Jude Ryder and Lucy Larson and the journey they had embarked on. I couldn’t wait to read the second book, Clash, but there I was, teary eyed, heart pounded with nothing to do but wait. And wait I did. For months I checked and rechecked the release date for the second book and when it finally arrived, I grabbed it up and devoured all its angst ridden moments right along side this power couple who it seemed could literally get through anything.

And of course the wait began anew for book three. But as I just finished this last book and the last words, I question, was the torturous waiting worth it? Of course. I wanted, no needed to know the ending to their story. Jude is without a doubt one of my all time favorite book boyfriends. He’s got something special that I’ve never found in any other hero. There are some truly amazing fictional heroes out there and they have a permanent place in my heart but Jude Ryder carved out his own section, seared his story and his name into my mind and he will live with me, always. To have a relationship thats as passionate and loving even with all the crazy arguing and hot headed antics, these two are unique yet real and we should all be so lucky.
Four years together hasn’t tamed their relationship or their personalities. They are still hot headed, opinionated, passionate and in love and lust as much now as the first day they met and I fantasize they always will be. Its who they are, but they are maturing, they are learning, they are growing and they are trying to reason things out before exploding.

It may not have ended they way I expected or preferred or even wanted. And I hated the reason Lucy finally commits to Jude, which set me off in a mini-temper tantrum that this author, who I adore, would pull that card! But it was their ending and perfect for them. The last lines of the book were perfect. Jude and Luce... are perfect. I love them and I love everlasting HEA!

Pues aquí termina mi maravillosa historia con Jude Ryder.

description

I fell in book love with Jude Ryder by the first chapter of Crash and continued my love affair to the very last sentence of Clash. But that love, that love seems like a crush (pardon the pun) until I met the Jude Ryder in Crush. It’s three years later; both are almost finished their junior year in college-Luce is at Juilliard and Jude is at Syracuse. Still engaged, still planning on getting married someday. Jude’s quarterback skills make him a first-round draft pick. He signs a three year contract with the San Diego Chargers, and although the amount is never disclosed, he goes from rummaging the sofa for spare change to being a multi-millionaire overnight.

Jude leaves for training camp and Luce stays behind. Her choice. She wants to finish out the school year. And did she mention that she hopes to get a job for the summer? A job in New York. Jude is determined to marry Luce the moment she finally agrees to name a date; to give him an answer that is not “soon”.

“I want you in every way a person can be with another. Every way,” he said, his voice low. “I want you as my wife. My. Wife,” he repeated, as Territorial Jude burst free of his cage.

Jude, frustrated by Luce’s refusal to join him in California, shows far more patience for Luce than this reader. She worries that the kind of money and fame that is coming Jude’s way will change things, will change him. He worries that the distance will pull them apart. They become very innovative with satisfying their need for each other and the loneliness caused by their separation. Talk about a smokin’ hot Face Time call! Flying back and forth to and from California to New York becomes a new way of life for them. Poor Jude, his attempt to buy them a lavish home and a cool car fails to impress Luce. In fact, she becomes more sensitive about his money with his every purchase. She likes his team mates, but their trophy wives and girlfriends serve to make her feel out of place. She does become friends with Sybill, one of Jude’s teammates’ wives, and she is a breath of fresh air amongst that silicone, bedazzled group of fluff headed women.

Holly, and her son, familiar faces from the first two books, are forced by circumstances to come live with Luce in New York. Thomas, Luce’s dance partner, becomes a regular visitor to their humble New York apartment. Her old college roommate, India, helps to find Luce a job with her brother Anton. Seems Luce’s new boss has his sights on one Lucy Larson, Jude be damned. The remainder of the story has some angst for the couple caused by her boss, and her frustrating inability to fully commit to Jude. His fame creates a particularly embarrassing, caught on film moment, after the two share a skinny dipping tryst on what they think is a secluded beach. Queue the ballistic, possessive Jude we have all come to expect.

“Your boobs on display for the entire world. I mean, shit, those are my boobs. Not the entire world’s to enjoy.”

There has been real growth in the two characters, even with Luce’s maddening behavior. Crush has a fair amount of toe curling, blush causing sex that is delicious. And then there is the angst. There are two scenes in particular, one with Lucy and her boss and one with the couple themselves where I needed to just stop reading and catch my breath. Jude, oh Jude, did that really come out of your mouth? I felt my love for him slipping just a little; Jude Ryder does asshole very well. Their story comes full circle in Crush, the ends are tied up in a pretty little bow and the reader will be satisfied. As much as I loved Crash and Clash, Williams outdid herself with this one! By the way, the epilogue is one of the best I have ever read.

“It was give and take, and with Jude and me, I’d been more take than give in our relationship. It was my turn to step up to the give plate.”

Holy ovaries ladies… when did Jude and Lucy become so... what can I call it? R rated? I was seriously not expecting some major hot love scenes between the two in Crush and was very happily surprised. Who knew Facetime on the iPhone could be so sexy? Jude and Lucy have certainly grown up in their 4 year relationship and it really showed in Crush.

I am a huge Crash Series fan. I fell in love with Jude... okay Lucy too since book one and am sad to see this series end but I am completely happy with the ending and my life can go on without thinking there is more story to tell. It was perfect.

**Beware spoilers for those who have not read Clash (Crash #2) yet.**

Crush picks up three years later from where Clash (Crash #2) ends… if you don’t remember let me recap for ya. Jude is a hot shot QB in college, Lucy is a hot shot dancer at a totally different college. They overcame a lot of jealously issues as well as distance to finally get engaged on the football field in front of the entire crowd to make it one epic of a proposal.

Three years later and here we are in Crush, they are STILL engaged. Lucy is a bit of a commitment phobic if you ask me. Jude is drafted to the NFL and is taken across the country again, another distance issue but really it’s not the main problem this time around. Lucy is trying to be independent and to follow her dreams while Jude is living his.

I really am happy with everything Crush had to deliver. I am usually not a big fan of “book 3’s” in series usually because I feel the characters/storylines have run their course and book 3 is usually just a drawn out end. Yes, Crush was an end but I felt the story in Crush was also really good and entertaining. Jude & Lucy have really grown up since Crash and Clash in many ways, not just S-E-X, hot S-E-X might I add!

I just wish Jude was in the story a bit more. Jude being in Southern California for football and the book being in Lucy’s perspective as she is still living in NY, working and attending school; we don’t get a whole lot of Jude time. I ended up really appreciating this at the end because I loved Lucy and respected her more for wanting her dreams, wanting to make her own money, and not live off of Jude and his millions; but to be her own person.

While Crash and Clash were more Young Adult, Crush is definitely Adult or at least mature YA. I really hope other readers notice and appreciate the growth over the 4 year span of Jude & Lucy’s relationship like I did.

I give Crush (Crash #3) 4 Stars.

I have been a huge fan of Lucy in the sky and Jude Ryder for a long ass time. I feel as though I’m just as committed in their relationship as they are. With that said I was really disappointed in how their last book played out.

Wasn’t it bad enough the way things started out for the two of them? They’ve jump through hoops, ladder, and cannons to get to where they are and they still found yet one more thing to fight about. I feel sad that they cant seem to find a happy medium. Their fight plain tuckered me out and even with their hot make up sex I still couldn’t find a happy place for them cuz I knew when they found their release it was back to square ONE!

Lucy didn’t seem like the same girl I just knew was the right one for Jude. She was very insecure and this needing to find her own place in life was only tearing them apart yet she kept up this attitude. I didn’t understand her at all. I kept think how selfish was and that Jude was only doing what thought was the right thing which was securing a future for her and only for her. Yeah he got a contract to play ball but his number one priority was to think of Lucy and her needs.
Her excuse about him changing because of the money was not the case, it changed her. She was intimated by it and she fought it cuz it wasn’t hers. She seemed very spoiled and jealous of his newfound life and she wasn’t making it easy for him.

Jude, ever the stud, was truly amazing in this installment. His love for Lucy never wavered. He’s in it forever. He might have acted immature in a few of the scenes but can you blame him when he’s not the one beside Lucy or the one forcing himself on her? He had every right to be pissed. She’s his as much as he is hers.

Even with all that the end just blew me for a loop, like as in a bad way!!! I wont spoil it but I thought they were both above this crap and for Ms Williams to place that kind of responsibility on them was just completely and utterly messed the eff up!!! I was NOT happy with the ending hence the 3 stars for this one but seriously, this was NOT the way things should have gone down. Lucy shouldn’t have been forced to decide what she wanted. She should have gotten over herself and made the sacrifice because Jude was the one and only and not because of anything else. UGH!

I do have to say that Lucy did step up when it came to Holly. It might not have solely to help her but she did. I’m glad that things worked out for Holly and LJ. Holly was a great character and she deserved to be happy.
The rest of the story, blah!

I am going to give this book a collective 4 Stars.

I just love Jude. What little bit he was in this book made this book for me.

I have to say, I really did enjoy this story. I endured the pain, angst and joy throughout the first two of the series, and now have come to the bittersweet ending. It's kind of hard for me to write a review for this because I want to review Jude lol.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The story starts out three years after Clash when Jude proposed to Lucy. They're still engaged. Yea....but they're getting married....soon....

I felt that Lucy was lost as a person. She was trying to find her identity and independence. But at Jude's expense. Jude changed all of his ways for her, and all she could find in situations were the bad. Lucy knocked off that fifth star for my rating of this book. Jude made up the other 4. ;)

I'd definitely recommend this series. It will for sure fall into my re-read pile, if I ever get a chance to get to it with my never-ending TBR.

Oh, and just for good measure.. ;)

I really enjoyed the first two books of this series, but the third one was disappointing. Maybe I am one of the few who was annoyed at the dialogue. I agree with others that there were editing problems. But what bothered me more was the endless amount of zingers. Yeah, Lucy is a smart a**, but I got annoyed with how many gotcha lines there were. Also, I love drama, but so many issues packed into a short book was more than I was willing to believe. And, I hid my review for this reason alone- what is with every female character getting knocked up in these stories? It is such a tired scenario. Girl gets unexpectedly knocked up- guy panics before coming to the realization that he really wants the girl and the baby. It's been done so many times in the past 2 years alone with contemporary romance books. I may be alone on this too, but I found some of the supporting characters particularly annoying. India- I wish someone would have just slapped her to keep her mouth shut. Anton- hated this story line. LJ- kid was kind of cute, but I was over the interruption him & his mom created. I don't know- I so wanted to love this book because I loved one & two. Instead, I found myself skimming over dialogue just to get to the conclusion, which you knew would be the happy ending. I just wanted to see how they got there.

3,5⭐️
At the beginning I really hated Jude. He was just so annoying and childish. Because of that I thought about giving this book two stars but in the end I tolerated him. Also the ending to this series was so good that I had to give more stars to this. It was so cute and lovely and happy. I just really loved the ending.

This was such a great ending to Jude and Lucy's story. It had me laughing and crying. I really loved the characters and how they connect, screw everyone else that didn't get that (Anton!) So happy with this HEA.

This was a decent ending to the series. They did get their HEA. Which was important. However, Lucy really drove me nuts. She acted so terrible in the beginning when he wanted to plan their future. Normally, I would be upset and agree with her but she knew his plans. Nothing he could really do to change it. Thankfully this was the end because these two had way too much drama and baggage.

Brittany’s Review: 4 Stars!

www.fictionandfashion.com

I seriously can’t say enough good things about these books. These are by FAR my #1 guilty pleasure series. I’m not sure what it was about them, but they are just such a refreshing easy read.

“You. Happy. Forever.”

Crush was not any different. If anything, I fell in love with Jude even more! I know, he drove me crazy in Crash and I loved Luce, then she went cray cray in Clash and you loved Jude, and that love only grew with Crush for him.

“ALL THE GUYS WERE ASKING ME WHY I HAD THIS STUPID GRIN ON MY FACE ALL DAY. I BLAMED YOU.”

Would I have liked a little more drama in the text…maybe. Honestly, I’m undecided. Usually I’m like ‘Yes, please, stab me with angst.’ I’m not really sure it would have felt right. I was more than happy to just drown in the sexiness of Jude Ryder for 300 pages.

“Baby, football isn’t my dream,” he said, kissing my forehead. “You are.”

Can we say holy hotness when it comes to Luce and Jude? Wow, the passion, they are amazing together. It was great to see them growing as a couple, 3 years after we last left them in Clash. Their banter back and forth, face time chats, were all just seriously swoon worthy.

“He’s fine, has a nice ass, and can make you blush after four years together.”

I don’t have any complaints, the only one is that the series is over…and I didn’t save it for the plane ride for vacation tomorrow.

“Asking, I’m always asking, Luce. Something I just ask with a little extra enthusiasm.”

I rarely say that I like follow up novels as much as the others, but I did in this case. Also, be sure to check out Jude’s Book Boyfriend page. You won’t be sorry. Hello football hottie with a beanie!

“Man rule number two. You don’t mess with another man’s women. Ever.”

“And what’s rule number one?”

“Don’t mess with me.”
