yeah nah this was actually a banger ngl. I’ve been meaning to read some of the older Archie comics stuff and I’m glad I finally did, I quite enjoyed this book. While it definitely shows its age with some of the language used and some of the humour, quite a lot of it was still funny even now - it makes sense why it’s a classic.

I also liked how Jughead was written here way more than in the Chip Zdarsky series ngl. Here he’s way funnier and is more enjoyable to read.

Also I’m definitely team Betty now😤 although Veronica’s a baddy, she’s kinda rude and mean and shi but my girl Betty’s great through and through as I’ve read here. Betty for life💪

A pretty good read overall, which I didn’t expect since sometimes I don’t like the older stuff (plus I thought volume one of the Jughead series was kinda mid) so I’m glad I picked this up.
