Written by an Iowa State grad, debunking 38 misconceptions. Some of them I felt I'd overcome with sound theology, but I was shocked by how many lies I was believing. Real quick read, but very thought provoking, forcing me to be introspective. You could do some pretty cool discipleship, walking through these common lies with those entrusted to you.

Decent, but somewhat generic. More relevant to those Christians who are drowning in the world (as the title suggests I suppose); definitely more useful for that group. Lots of personal anecdotes, which helped the flow.

Misconceptions 35-37 (pp.167-179) on God's will, integrity, and money was the best part of the book.
