Soul Self: How to Tame Your Mind, Uncover Your Blueprint and Live Your Soul Purpose

(excerpt from Part One) "One wise decision can overwrite a myriad of foolish ones."

Reading this book can be one of these wise decisions.

At some point in life, if you are paying attention, an event occurs that can wake you up to the true nature of your Soul.

That's what happened to author Jack Stephens during what was intended to be a short vacation to Hawaii. In a Soul-awakening experience he realized that the life he had been living must end so that a new one can begin.

In order to focus on uncovering his Soul's blueprint, he left everything behind and entered into months-long silent meditation with his newly-found Soulmate (whom he later married), the Healer and Channel Stacey Stephens.

Using easily accessible yet profound analogies, fables and insights, the author shares the universal wisdom he uncovered within himself, informed by the wisdom of "The Ancient Ones", channeled by his wife and confirmed by his own enlightened awareness.

With clear examples and simple exercises, the author shows you how to distinguish between your ego-mind and your Soul. He guides you through the steps necessary to uncover your Soul Purpose (or blueprint) so that you can confidently live the life your Soul designed.

Author's note: It is with immense joy that I share with you the wisdom and teachings of The Ancient Ones. It is my hope that this book will inspire you to have your own direct experience of your Soul Self, which you can then share with others, igniting a chain reaction that can exponentially change the world from the inside out. This is a book, not of the truth, but of my truth, and a resource intended to support you in finding your truth.

Biographical details:

Jack was born in 1969 and raised in Prescott, Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona in Tucson.

An Eagle Scout, he excelled in leadership and organizational development and cultivated a robust zeal for mountaineering, outdoor adventure and travel.

After college, he managed restaurants for ten years before turning his attention to the sustainability movement. Over the following decade he became an organic farmer and permaculture designer, a consultant to sustainable businesses, and founder of a non-profit organization supporting sustainable construction and land use practices.

In early 2010, Jack met a *healer and channel in Hawaii who gave him a Soul-awakening experience that would change his life. She assisted him to see deep within his Soul, into his true nature, and to recognize his Soul purpose (blueprint). Fortified by this knowledge, he gained the courage to do the necessary work of healing the traumas of his past to move forward on his life's true path.

*Stacey had been preparing to meet Jack for more than ten years prior to his arrival at her home. Knowing that he was her Soulmate, and that he would need help to heal before they could begin their mission together, she had spent two years in nearly constant meditation, with the assistance of the nonphysical beings known as The Ancient Ones. Yes, I'm the author of this book so one would hope that I like it, and I do!

This book is the result of the many months I spent in silent meditation and spiritual transformation and that time period was one of the most difficult and challenging of my life. I did my best to put the foundational wisdom of what I learned from that experience into my life and this volume. I love the results! After countless readings, I still learn from my own book. I think that's a good sign!

Now that the book is published, it's time for other people to have their own experience of it. One of the key tenets in the book is "positive interpretation" of your experiences. So, whether you find yourself in agreement or disagreement with something in the book, I invite you to check within and determine why. Of course I welcome your thoughts or questions, and I look forward to hearing back from you here after you've read the book.

This book is very clearly written and an easy read. I love the different analogies the author uses to get his point across about how to distinguish the ego (stomach feeling) from the Soul (heart).

"Soul Self" by Jack Stephens is a thoughtful and insightful exploration of the human soul and the journey toward personal transformation. Through personal anecdotes, philosophical musings, and spiritual teachings, Stephens invites readers to reflect on their inner selves and their connection to the world around them.

One of the book's strengths is the author's ability to make complex ideas accessible to a wide audience. He presents deep spiritual concepts in a clear and relatable manner without ever becoming overly simplistic or patronizing. His writing is engaging and easy to follow, making the book an enjoyable read from start to finish.

Overall, I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone preparing to start their personal transformational journey to explore their soul's purpose.
