USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author Rita Herron fell in love with books at the ripe age of eight when she read her first Trixie Belden mystery. But she didn’t think real people grew up to be writers, so she became a teacher instead. Now she writes so she doesn’t have to get a real job. With over ninety books to her credit, she’s penned romantic suspense, romantic comedy and YA novels, but she especially likes writing dark romantic suspense and crime fiction set in small southern towns. When I purchased this book I had no idea that it would tie all three stories together. I find that after reading all three, the author did a superb job of interweaving them, throwing in heart pounding mystery, riviting action and suspense. I couldn't stop reading until I finished all three stories. I was drawn into each story through caring, battle scarred characters and how they dealt with being pulled back into a painful past experience, but ultimately coming through their newest setback with hope and the ability to face their fears with the help of a caring Texas Ranger. I highly recommend reading these stories, you won't regret it!
I actually bought all these books separate but didn't realize it. I read them again and they were just as wonderful the second time. Tall sexy Texas Rangers, saving the day and falling in love, what could be better. check them out, you'll love them
All three books in this series were great, they were all linked together with the same basic story- three men escaping prison. But each of the books told of its own terrifying nightmare for each of three women. Light read with satisfying endings.
These books are just so addicting. I just spent the last 6 hours reading this trilogy and cannot wait to get my hands on the rest of the books that are part of Ms. Herron's Manhunt series.
