Flower Therapy is the art of working with flowers, flower essences, and angels for healing, manifestation, and abundance. With flowers as your allies, your dreams really can come true, and you’ll see that nature truly has the ability to heal!
In this book, Doreen Virtue and Robert Reeves give in-depth information about 88 common flowers, illustrated with gorgeous, full-color photographs. You’ll find out about the flowers’ energetic and healing properties, discover which angels are connected to each one, and learn to associate different species with the various chakras (beyond simply categorizing them by color). In addition, there’s a loving, channeled message of guidance and support directly from each flower’s energy.
Doreen and Robert also share with you new and exciting ways to work with Flower Therapy : Create custom bouquets for dear friends. Gather wildflowers to heal and deepen your spirituality. Or choose the perfect blooms for your garden to enhance your connection to the angels. They discuss flower essences, picking fresh blossoms, and purchasing floral arrangements. You’ll even be guided through energetic clearing methods and receive detailed instructions about how to perform a Flower Therapy reading.
While flowers have an energy that must be experienced, it’s not necessary for you to gather any in order to do so. The photos inside, which have been infused with healing energy, are all you need to begin your journey. So, whether you have a green thumb or not, Flower Therapy can start making a difference in your day . . . and bring blessings into your life!
Yeah so.... I can't necessarily say I regret reading this? But its not... good. I'm all here for hippy things like putting intentions into the world and meditation and even if angels and fairies are your thing you do you. However, this book is really odd. There are lines that are just bizarre, and the idea that a picture of a flower would be just as good as the real thing when it comes to energy healing... but then is every picture of a flower infinitely powerful? And when it says Robert Reeves is certified as a naturopath, who certified him? What certification? And why did they do my homie Cactaceae so dirty by giving that whole family one page but each color of rose and lily get separate pages?? I think I'm thinking too much about this. 2 out of 5 stars because the cover is holographic.
I had no idea what to expect when I received this book. I had read books talking about angels and alternative medicine and therapies before and was somewhat skeptical about the content of Flower Therapy - Welcome the Angels of Nature into Your Life.
Surprisingly, the book is amazingly light and fun to read, and it's also a beautiful volume, with high quality illustrations of 88 different flowers, highlighting their benefits and what they can do to help heal or improve a specific area of our lives.
The flowers are listed in alphabetical order, and the pictures help identify the type of plant. The correlation with the respective angel that is associated with the flower completes the description of the flower and how to utilize it for our benefit. There are also hints on how to make infusions with the flowers for different purposes and all to help clear the body, mind and spirit.
You don't have to believe in angels to read this book. You can still find lots of interesting information about the flowers, and how to clean and energize your house and your environment, including yourself. It is an inspirational book that providers beautiful insight into the flowers and the benefits nature can provide us!
I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience at magictrendsreview.blogspot.com
A bit “woo-woo,” but I like the idea of meditating with a flower or thinking about the “energy” of certain flowers when making a choice of what to plant in my garden, keep as a houseplant, or to turn into potpourri or to add to a relaxing bath.
I quite thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I have learnt something new thats for sure. The book is quite detailed, informative and a delight to read as well.
I'm always looking for alternative ways of healing and promoting health. I decided to read this book because I thought it would be have some of those aspects of alternative ways of healing, and I've always thought that Doreen Virtue, who co-wrote this book along side Robert Reeves, to be a very interesting person.
Since I'm in pain a lot of the time, I'm always on the lookout for new and different ways of coping and I know that nature can be very healing so when I seen this book I immediately wanted to read it.
The actual book was absolutely beautiful, it held breath taking photos of some beautiful flowers. What I loved about this book, besides the photos, was the recipes and the wholly different approach to nature that these two created. Some of the ideas were completely out-there, and totally unique, for example they give instructions of some special ceremonies that they preform in order to be respectful towards nature. I love their entire approach, I've always practiced respect when I am out anywhere, nature included. But their approach was fascinating and beautiful. This book is pretty out-there, it is very unique.
Doreen Virtue has stated in previous books that she can physically see and speak with angels. She believes that they are all around us, and her methods and beliefs transcend religion.
Whether you believe in angels or not, I believe that you can still benefit from this book. Even just simply looking through, and following some of their suggested meditations may help you. I loved that they included a glossary, showing you the names and uses for some flowers that can help you.
This book gives recipes as well as helpful information, Robert Reeves is a fully accredited Natropath, he is fully trained in herbal medicine. If you are on medication, the recipes that are included on how to make flower/essence infusions will not interfere with any medication you are taking.
This book includes some aspects that may seem too out-there for some people, as it talks about angels and fairies. I've read one of Doreen Virtue's books before and thought that some her ideas were very interesting. Whether or not you believe in fairies and angels, this book has some very interesting and helpful information about flowers, and what they can be used for. I love that throughout this entire book Doreen Virtue and Robert Reeves were always being very respectful of nature.
What a beautiful book! Its cover is a photograph of beautiful flowers of many varieties and colors. The size is similar to that of a well-used wildlife or bird guide and fits easily in the hand. It is not only visually attractive, but has very helpful information to guide one in emotional and physical benefits of each flower. Reeves is from Australia and so there are some fascinating plants outlined in the resource area of the book that those of us in the West are unfamiliar with. I found that my beloved hydrangea (the "Twist and Shout" variety appropriate for Northern climates like mine here in Vermont) that is planted in the front yard of my home is supportive for "transformation, life-changing decisions, clearing procrastination, and releasing lower emotions." This is the third hydrangea that I have tried to grow in this cool area of the United States, and I'm happy to say that the Twist and Shout variety has done very well in this growing zone. I find it fascinating that the benefits this bush brings are very much in line with my work helping clients navigate through transition! The resource section of the book includes a wide variety of species. There isn't enough room to include all species of course, but the reader can find many varieties that are native to their part of the world. Each plant in this section is described in full, including botanical name, common varieties, energetic properties, associated chakra, and healing description. The end of the book lists specific issues or challenges and recommends the proper plant to address each malady. There is also a list of each chakra and the flowers closely associated with these areas of the body. I highly recommend this mode of healing and this beautiful book, whether you have your own garden, have an opportunity to buy flowers from a locally-owned florist, or enjoy using pure, organic essentials oils.
Simple, short, and a very easy read. About 75% of the book is a flower directory. The remainder if the book consists of useful advice, blending recipes and meditations. With saying this, this book requires a certain open awareness to take in all the concepts that are being presented. This makes a great reference book.
Short, simple, beautiful. 75% of the book is the flower directory. Read book part in an hour. Very practical and it carries a wonderful energy. You can feel the vibration just holding it.
