In the 1980's I had time to do quilting and did a couple of articles of clothes that I still have and wear now. One of the books that inspired me at that time Quilted Clothing, by Jean Ray Laury. This wasn't a book I copied ideas exactly but took ideas from one or two different projects and then added my personal ideas. I think that a book that can give this type of encouragement is an excellent resource for a creative person and for those just starting that need guidance through an entire project.
