15 boys find themselves lost at sea in one of Jules Verne's books. After battling storms and rough waves, the boys are washed ashore. Could it be an island? If so, they would be doomed to stay on the island until a boat happened to pass by - and there is a possibility that the boys won't even be spotted. The children (and several teens) create a new home, but who knows what dangers there might be? --- Sure, the plot, in general, might be exciting, but there were just too many holes. Yes, teenagers can be capable of many things, but how is it possible that each boy can reveal their hidden talents at just the right time? There's no background information to support anything that comes up later in the book. Every single problem is solved by a set of skills that someone just happened to have at the right time. Someone was shot? Oh, this teen is capable of healing a very deep wound. Have to carry timber back? Well, this other guy can take random pieces of wood and create a fully working wagon. Plus, the narration seemed very monotone. I feel like the author put too much attention on the dates and times.
