I tried really hard to finish this book. Especially because it was a semi-short story. At 40% through the book, I knew I had 2 options: Either stop reading it or break my kindle. I couldn't continue reading all the errors, all the dialogue with no narration whatsoever and listening to all of the annoying characters. I hardly ever give up on a book no matter how much I don't like it, but as I said, I only had 2 options...
What I like about the book is that it a faith-based novel. I was very confused about Lizzy behavior but as the story unwinds I begin to understand. My heart breaks for hurt and I hoped Bishop would be there in her time of need and she would accept it. This is considered a love story thriller so if you like these kind of stories this book is for you.
This book maybe good if sent to a professional editor. I had to reread several sentences because they just didn't make any sense. I love Christian fiction and will continue to support the genre. But this book is bad.
Elizabeth Talbert ( Lizzy) is an award winning Gospel Artist. Lizzy is a beautiful and talented person. Bishop Andrus is looking for a wife, that can’t bring shame to his ministry. Lizzy’s past catches up with her and secret may be a bit much for Bishop. If you allow God in your relationship it will blossom. The book had some errors, but had a good message.
I really enjoyed the plot of the book. There was some errors in the wording and characters names being mixed up but for the most part it was a really good book. It was a little predictable but I would suggest it to others.
I read this book in one sitting. I didn't want to put it down. Even though there were errors, they ready didn't take away from the story. As a reader, I felt every emotion, I felt as if I was apart of the storyline, it was just that involving.
