I’ve always wanted to write in the fantasy / sci-fi genre. My first book, Trinity, is the first in its series and I’m very excited about it. If you are a fan of Stephanie Meyer (the Twilight series) or Suzanne Collins (The Hunger Games), I really believe you’ll enjoy this book.

Excellent book from first time author CJ Bolyne! It kept me interested and wanting more from beginning to end. The huge cliff-hanger at the end has me anxiously awaiting the 2nd book!

Payton has a average life. Late one night though, she stops to help a stranger in distress. Soon she learns this stranger is even stranger than she had imagined, and Payton finds herself caught up in a world she didn't even know existed. It seems Payton's true identity has been hidden from her. Now Payton must struggle to regain her memory even as she tries to keep away from a rival faction that is very interested in her.

This was a bit of a familiar story (girl is actually really important but has lost her memory), but it has a freshness to it due to the creativity of the plot. I found the story so interesting. There was a particular part of the story about another mysterious woman that was so cool. That kept me reading until the end and wanting more. It definitely managed to capture my attention. It was a very unique concept. I had a couple problems when reading though. One was I found the characters hard to keep up with a bit. Names of the gods were sort of thrown at me without too much information about them, so it was hard to keep up with who was who. I'm also horrible with just remembering names without some kind of distinguishing characteristic though. The other was that sometimes there were a lot of short sentences in a row. This could make for a choppy narrative, and that could take me out of the story a bit.

Getting past those things though, I was really intrigued by the story. I liked that Payton managed to take charge of her own destiny even when she was unsure what it was. Not only was Terran dreamy, he made a great companion for Payton. I did wish I got a little more information about the conflict between the various factions of the gods. Overall though, this book did a great job of leaving me hanging and wanting more. That ending was a little surprising and left me with tons of questions. I know I will be looking for the sequel. This book is creative and will leave you wondering what happens next.

Trinity is set in modern society and intertwined with the supernatural realm of other worlds. The central theme of the story is good versus evil, and the struggle between incredible powers gods and lesser gods who want complete dominance over humanity.

The main character, Payton, is an average young girl who lives a typical life of an independent, savvy single woman. She meets a stranger who shows up out of the blue claiming to know her well. When curiosity gets the best of her, she agrees to meet the stranger, Terran, hoping to learn more about who he is. When they meet, Terran almost immediately wisps Payton away to an unfamiliar location, and out of nowhere, starts talking like a psycho about how much he’s missed her. Then wham! He freaks Payton out by planting a big ole’ sloppy kiss right smack on her lips!

The author has a wonderful imagination that’s well written into the story. The book has romance, adventure, paranormal, hot gods and goddess – you name it. The biggest challenge is keeping all the gods names straight and how they are connected to each other. Trinity is a really good read that goes quickly. I finished the book in one day. I highly recommend this book! You won’t be disappointed!

Good idea. very scattered. There are like fifty billion people you have to meet and get to know in this extremely short book. it moved to fast through each corrector for you to get to know, like, hate ANY of them.

Slow down! If your going to do a task do it RIGHT.

This book, by first time author CJ Bolyne, was well written and held my interest from beginning to end. Anxious to read the continuing story of Trinity in her second book!

This was just an OK read. I could tell though that the next in the series will be more involved. This one really didn't interest me enough to want to read the next one.
