TARGET AUDIENCE
This unique and remarkable book couples scientific research with Christian values in a way that we are typically unaccustomed to, then boldly seeks to reclaim facets of spirituality that have been hijacked by Eastern mysticism and the new age movement. Whether or not the reader has a particular aptitude for the science of quantum physics, I believe that this is a must-read for every Bible-believing Christian. It triggered in me the intrinsic mental, philosophical, and spiritual elements of my being. Without a doubt, I would have to say that this is one of the best books I have read in nearly a decade.

CONTENT QUALITY
The book covers content that is rarely (if ever) mentioned in typical Christian sectors. It reveals God’s macro intentions via the micro subatomic world of quantum physics. The book does, however (in my opinion), feel like two separate books. There is a harsh break between parts one and two. The former is highly scientific and can be difficult to digest (though I personally thoroughly enjoyed it). Part one, however, is particularly compelling and exciting. Part two suddenly shifts gears (a bit abruptly, perhaps) and moves into the spiritual elements of the supernatural and how it relates to the subatomic world. The author’s research is highly commendable and the arguments are profoundly compelling. “The building blocks of the material world are non-material invisible realities. Thus, from a biblical perspective, there are two distinct aspects of creation: the visible creation and the invisible! And the visible world is actually founded upon the invisible!” I believe that statements like this serve as a fresh perspective for modern believers. The author debunks the new age movement and gives powerful illustrations that uphold rich Christian wisdom and knowledge. Describing God, he says, “The intimate Observer, God is deeply engaged with the physical universe that He brought into being with His creative genius and His unlimited power.” I found myself highlighting large portions of this book’s broad insights and unique perspectives.

MESSAGE CLARITY
The author delves so deep into the basis of space, time, and spirituality that the message feels incredibly profound. This book gave me new eyes to see the world. It is difficult the view the world from a myopic perspective after reading this book. The micro subatomic world affects the macro universe in such a marvelous fashion that everything is linked together (you will learn much about string theory!) in ways you never imagined possible. But the real crux of the book is how the author reveals that the ministry of Jesus (and subsequently, the witness that every Christian is called to be) manifests via the microscopic and subatomic world. He says that “the glorious ministry of Jesus caused matter on some occasions to suddenly ‘materialize’ at a quantum level all the way up to the macroscopic level.” This is a unique take on the life of Jesus and how His miracles came about. This message of the book reveals the glorious methods in which God works. “The spirit world has the capacity to impose itself upon the material world but the material world does not have the capacity to impose itself upon the world of spirit because the dimension of spirit is clearly superior to the dimension of matter.”

CREATIVE STYLE
As I have mentioned above, I have never run across a book of this unique caliber and content. The author’s research findings are well-laid out and highly convincing. I suggest that the content itself displays the creative style of the book. Generally, I reserve this section for the flow and style of a book, but I suffice to reiterate that the content itself is inventive and original enough to carry its own weight in this section. One of my favorite ideas revealed in this book is that of the quantum world acting as a “buffer” between spirit and matter. The author states that “The non-local quantum world appears to be a kind of invisible, intermediate ‘buffer zone’ between spirit and matter. It appears that the non-local quantum realm has been strategically crafted by God to be directly responsive to the influence and activity of the Spirit of God so these non-local quantum realities are capable of ‘materializing’ into a localized spatial formation.” This consideration is revelatory as “the weird world of quantum physics represents the intersection between two worlds. It is the intersection between the world of spirit and the world of matter. It is like the buffer zone between spiritual realities and material realities. That is why the quantum world exhibits the attributes of both spirit and matter! The realm of spirit is by its very nature non-local. It transcends space and time, those four familiar dimensions that we are all accustomed to navigating in everyday life.” Thoughts such as these permeate my imagination and have evoked a sort of awareness of the world around me. I perceive everything now with a brand new perspective.

LANGUAGE SELECTION
The author uses descriptive verbiage on every topic that he covers. He describes atoms as “a roiling frenzy, awash in a violent sea of quantum fluctuations.” He quotes Einstein on time: “The distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” He explains space and the subatomic world as “a buffer-zone between the spirit world and the material world.” He then describes heaven and hell in this manner: “Heaven and hell both exist in a non-local invisible dimension outside of our space-time manifold.” At times, the text is particularly scientific, but in part two it becomes simplified and spiritually practical. This book opened my eyes to a whole new world and I found myself ever the learner of things I previously knew little about. I love it when a book challenges and elevates the reader to new heights. This book will not disappoint in this manner.

OVERALL IMPACT
After completing this book I see nearly every aspect of the world in a new light. From the elongated shadows of dusk to the infinitesimal veins on the surface of a leaf, a world of wonder has opened to me. I find it remarkable how the subatomic world affects the macro universe at every interval. I revel at the hand of God displayed through His creation and the purpose for which He made all things. Not a day has passed without causing me to consider the deeper intrinsic meaning of everything that my eyes fall upon. This book has radically shifted my perception of life and I believe it will continue to do so for many years.

10 POINT RATING
I give Quantum Glory a 10/10.

Lost one star for some seriously inaccurate mathematics.* Regained the star for the comment about how the positive affirmation ideology of New Age literature has infiltrated the Word of Faith movement.

It's a brave man who attempts to weld quantum physics to the Scriptural concept of glory, without heading off into New Age mysticism. Phil Mason has written a thought-provoking, eye-opening book about the nature of the spiritual realm. He's finessed the tricky balancing act of discussing faith without ever crossing the line into advocating magic (at least that I noticed), as sometimes happens when Christians are ignorant of the nature of magical practice.

Mason is the spiritual director of New Earth Tribe at Byron Bay, an area on the east coast of Australia that is a haven for alternative spiritualities. Perhaps that's why he's so conscious of how easy it is to inadvertedly cross the fine line between faith and magic.

I didn't find the book hard-going but I suspect it would be a tough read without some background in the sciences. Mason is at pains to explain his terminology but, as with every area where the terms are unfamiliar, the very strangeness of the words could be a challenge.

*Hey, I spent thirty years teaching mathematics. One of my specialties is the golden ratio as in The Singing Silence so I tend to notice errors in this regard.

While I love the topics of quantum physics and biblical studies, and this is a book on how the two intertwine, the way this particular book was written didn't do it for me. I skipped about the first 25%, as it was a rehash of what I already knew about quantum physics without any scriptural references to speak of. Then I read only to about 40% and stopped, due to redundancy. The recurring theme was the power of words, sound, and God's voice. It was interesting at first, but I had the impression that he was going to continue to make that same point for the rest of the book.

Thrilling!

This book is so thrilling and mind blowing that it has left me breathless! And I am only 1\3 of the way through...this is the most exciting book I have read in a long time. I just can't and wont put it down. I would like to give it 100 stars!

Christian perspective on quantum physics. Was a bit intimidated by the topic but this author presents information in a way that it can be grasped by a non-mathematical mind! The information is interesting and pretty mind blowing!

Sorry, but the author repeated many points unnecessarily, over-complicated 'simple' concepts, and took cheap shots at opposing views. Let the reader come to their own conclusions regarding faith and belief, don't bad mouth a stance even if it is seemingly wrong.

Granted, quantum physics isn't a subject for everyone, but the connection to the spiritual realm of miracles and transportation made this an incredible and enlightening read.

I'm still reading this, but so enjoying it. There is a whole different world out there when you get to the ultra ultra ultra small. Phil Mason puts it in a Christian context and it makes fascinating reading. While some of it is still merely theory (such as the string theory) he makes an interesting case for how God sustains the universe with His voice. It fills me with a new sense of awe at just how much more intricately involved God is with His creation. A fascinating read, even if some of it is still just theory.

This is an awesome book. It takes a part the new age ideas concerning the mysteries of the quantum world and places the glory where it belongs in the hands of its Creator. It uses the miracles of the Lord and the biblical references as a backdrop for understanding the unknown. It encourages us as his Church to walk in the glory and perform the miracles that God desires to demonstrate as his signature in the world it is practical, intellectual, and inspirational all at once!

Fantastic!

What a great book that explains quantum mechanics for a laymen that is both easy to read and understand. That he has explained and given a Biblical basis for signs and wonders for today has been a revelation. This book also gives a good understanding in speaking to people with New Age beliefs. If you like science and mathematics and desire to reach New Age people groups this book is for you. I'm going to read it again!

I am totally loving this book on quantum mechanics as it relates to biblical scripture. This book was fantastic. It delves into quantum mechanics, entanglement, non-locality and lots of other cool things. I found a new love, "Physics". I especially love the way it is all tied together with the spiritual realm. Great book.

It was an interesting book on how Quantum physics points to God. Which is what I determined when I read another book on quantum theory and the split screen experiments. However I found the book seemed to jump around and was not really what I had been looking for .

An interesting read with some ideas about the nature of creation and heaven. Mason is not a theoretical physicist, and he even says he's not. And while I feel he misses on several technicalities, I also feel he is definitely on to something here.
