Even this is too high rating, but I'm a little afraid to go further down because a lot of people seem to like this book quite a lot.
What was wrong with it? The answer is quite difficult to explain.
The characters, the plot, everything seemed a little too forced. From the start, the heroine left me feeling a little off, I didn't understand her, I couldn't sympathize with her, she is not clever, she is not interesting, the author wants to present her as a strong character but all she did was confuse me even further. The hero, I read that he's supposed to feel like Jessie from This man, well, for me, he couldn't be further from that observation. I couldn't wait to be done with this one, I was bored through it all. And the end, the big cliffhanger, did not do anything for me.
All in all, quite uninteresting book..

I've never read this author before, but was pleasantly surprised with the first book in the Indigo Lounge series.

The main characters are the very sexy billionaire Zachery Savage and Bethany Green. They meet when Bethany gets an invitation to travel on the Indigo Lounge, a sexy pleasure palace in the sky. From the moment he sees her, Savage knows he must have her. The story is rather complex, it starts out about lust and sex between Bethany & Zach. They both have issues, Zach more than Bethany. He's being very secretive about his family and past. As Bethany's feeling for Zach deepen to love, she is able to cox a question per day out of him regarding his past. He fears if she learns too much about him, he will lose her forever. Zach is a deeply troubled man and needs Bethany desperately.

I enjoyed these characters very much and the sexy love scenes were amazing. A wonderful erotic romance with an interesting likeable couple that were made for each other. Be warned though....the ending of this story leaves you hanging and open mouthed....eager and wanting for more! I can't wait for book 2 Higher to hit the market.

Enjoyed this one. The H was exactly the kind I like; OTT possessive, obsessive, and jealous. He sees the h in the beginning and falls instantly. The h had a slutty BF which made me really angry bc this has become so common in romance books. The BF spoke so crudely with the h about sex and the H, it was a major turn off. I don't like it when a H acts like that and won't accept it from the h either. I don't understand why a h has friends that are so different from her. Normally women have friends that are similar to them, not slutty, crude, oversexed, dummies!! Anyway, this one ended on a cliffhanger and I will be continuing the series.

I liked the sound of this, especially when compared to our Jesse!

The blurb says "Flirty, dirty and utterly delicious, HIGH is the perfect next read for lovers of the internationally renowned This Man series from Jodi Ellen Malpas & Sylvia Day's Crossfire series.

Zach was an alpha on a mission, who relentlessly pursued Bethany. She found herself immediately captivated by him, but he was hiding a painful past. I found there were elements of this book that flowed easily, and were enjoyable. But there were others that were stilted, repetitive and cheesy. Zach unfortunately didn't quite have his delivery honed, and their banter was weak.

I'm afraid it didn't really work for me...:-(

MOST DESERVING 5 star!

This book just grabbed me from the very start. First of all, the friendship between Bethany and Keely is awesome. I would really love to have them as my besties, especially Keely who can cheer anybody up even on doomsday with her antics and sweet, crazy-adorable personality.

The passion and heat between Bethany and Zachary is up there on the boiling point, phew, hot! I never thought dirty talks can be this sexy, rousing and electrifying. I guess it can, especially coming from an enigmatic, successful handsome man like Zachary, and a billionaire to boot, oh yeah! This man knows what he wants and knows the sexiest way to get it when he sees it. He's intense, magnificent and a real heartthrob, there is no getting away from his appeal and charm.

The heart of this story has been described beautifully by other reviewers, there really is nothing more I can add but to warn you...it's addictive, I honestly kept looking at my meter reading afraid I'm coming to an end, and I just did NOT want it to end, it's just Perfect!

I'll be just like many others...riding HIGH awaiting the next book with fervor.

Loved this book but I hate (in the nicest possible way) the author as she left it on a cliff hanger.
In a nutshell Bethany is fleeing a shifty last boyfriend and accepts the chance of a lifetime to go on a globe trotting sexcapade where she meets uber rich owner #Zachary. Their connection is immediate and they embark on a hot and heavy relationship.
The story cruises across Shanghai- Paris and Marrakech and the author does a great job of evoking the sights and sounds of each of these locations.
As to be expected from this type of angsty romance tale the alpha male is devastatingly attractive but harbours a dark past that prevents him from achieving his HEA straight away.
I enjoyed this story and thought it was hot, hot, hot.
Aside from a few spelling/grammatical issues I enjoyed reading this tale. Will definitely read the sequel, just hoping I don't have to wait too long. Will recommend to all my friends who enjoy a steamy love story. Great characters, great locations and good value.

Really enjoyed this book, perfect for those who love the alpha-billionaire meets innocent beauty genre of books.

The two main characters meet at the Indigo Lounge, a flight of swanky hotel in the sky jumbo jets - a great creative and original backdrop. Zachary and Bethany have instant lust and Zachary exercises his persuasive alpha muscles to have Bethany take a chance on ditching the Lounge to travel with him. He really seems to fall for her quickly and the two easily heat up the pages both in the bedroom and as a result of his romantic (and sometimes dirty talk) declarations.

"We met thirty-eight hours and forty-six minutes ago Bethany Green. I intend to extract a kiss from those bee-stung lips of yours for every minute of that time - when the time is right. I will kiss you till you beg for mercy...And then I will fuck you until you pass out from screaming my name. And if you think those are just words, that I don't intend to rock your fucking world, then I feel sorry for you. Because the reality will blow your goddamn mind." FAN SELF :-)

The two have great explosive chemistry and there is an underlying tension with Zachary's unknown past intruding at pts created appropriate suspense. The book does end on a cliffhanger, but the sequel is expected early March. Excited to continue the series!

Great book, and a WTF cliff hanger! Had me on the edge of my seat and fanning myself the whole book.. the sexual tension between the two characters is over the top. Bethany was selected for an experience of a lifetime, a pleasure trip with over the top luxury jetting from city to city on an amazing custom jet. She met Zachery when she arrived, and he was so taken by her he changed his plans and came on the Indigo trip. He convinced her to give up the trip and be with him. She did and the sex.. wow wow wow!

She experienced luxury, pleasure and excitement like never before but he doesn't seem to open up to her. She convinces him that she isn't going to run, that she loves him and it is ok to open up to her. He starts, sharing bits and pieces with her. Then he has a dream, calls another woman's name, and Bethany explores this tent on the lawn. She finds a stone with the woman's name, and Zach is right behind her and tells her that was his wife... for a day... and he ended up killing her the next day... WTF!!! Can't wait for the next book, have to know more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book very much so. So much so that I could read it again right now. I can't even be upset with the cliffhanger because the rest of the book was so deliciously good. It has a good story line although far out there in how it happens. These things can't happen in earl life but it is so much fun to lose one self for a few hours in the web spun my Zara Cox. I read a prior review that was in the edge about waiting for the continuation and I now understand. I am thankful to be read in December. So I hope to not wait to long. She has just enough steam suspense romance laughter wrapped up in this this book to make you love these characters. The ending is shocking to say the least. I really yelled WTH! I must say I look forward to where this series can go. There are so many possibilities. Loved Bethany friend Keel. I have one just like her. Go for broke girl YOLO! Can't wait for next book. Mrs Cox you have made it on my favorite author list

Ah gimme some lady porn...
Daft, predictable but hot nevertheless. I never tire of reading about self made billionaires, still in their twenties and hot. That he had a massive cock to complement his breathtaking looks and cut physique goes without saying.
It was insta-lust at the beginning and I'm afraid to admit even I considered the start daft and far-fetched but happily I persevered and enjoyed the rest of the - ahem - ride(s).
It ends on a really irritating cliffhanger which marred the end of the story for me. You only get half the story with this book. Hate that.

Did not finish. It just seemed too much like a fantasy. He's a billionaire who rearranges his schedule and bought her all these things...and I lost interest.

She also complains because he's known her 2 days and they haven't "done it" Wow. A whole 2 days.

::Two-and-a-half Stars - and I'm Being Generous B/c Kitty French Rec'd It So Highly!::

Have you ever had that moment where an author whose work you really love recommends the work of another writer - and you're really disappointed when you read that other writer's work? That's what happened here - Kitty French, who wrote the absolutely wonderful Lucien Knight/Sophie Black Trilogy (KNIGHT & PLAY, KNIGHT & STAY, KNIGHT & DAY), recommended on the last page of ...DAY that we try out Zara Cox's Indigo Lounge series. (Since her glowing comment about this book is currently right below my half-written review, I'm guessing this wasn't a "polite blurb", but came from the heart.) So I followed the link, saw that the first book, HIGH, was only 99 cents on Amazon, bought it and started reading....

First off, let's get to the central guy, Zachary Savage - and my, um, feelings about a certain variety of Dominant Alpha Male, With Issues. There is the kind of DAMWI (like Lucien Knight; Master Bruce of ROPED IN, the first Bondage Ranch book; or most of the Doms in Cherise Sinclair's Masters of The Shadowlands series ) who make me go all tingly and moan, "Yes, please, more, Sir". Then , there is the kind of DAMWI (like Zachary Savage, Hudson Pierce of the Fixed Trilogy - or Christian Grey!) who make me check my pepper spray while looking around for a cop!

Or Stick My House Keys Between My Fingers....

You can't always judge for certain which type of DAMWI will hit you the wrong way - but a good rule of thumb is that, if within five minutes of meeting a woman, he's "frisking her for drugs" in a very intimate manner while breathing in her ear all the ways he's going to fuck her once he's got her alone? That's Not a Guy I Want to Get to Know Any Better in Print - let alone in real life. I don't care how attracted I am to a guy - if he behaved to me remotely the way Zachary Savage does to Our Lonely and Emotionally Wounded Twentysomething Heroine Bethany Green on our first meeting, every alarm bell in my mind would be shrilling overtime!

"Warning! Danger, Will Robinson!"

Bethany, young event planner/ballet washout thanks to her too-big-for-ballet butt (it's a story point, or I wouldn't even bother mentioning it!), miraculously cops a guest invite on one of the exclusive and hot Indigo Lounge hedonistic tour flights shortly after breaking up with her boyfriend because he came down with a Bad Case of Teh Gay (more on the books' handling of that little bit of backstory to come!) - and is immediately drawn to the stunningly handsome, superrich, emotionally shadowed, and very Dominant Mr. Savage. For his part, Savage does everything short of piss on her to mark her as "his" after only a few minutes' acquaintance, and on more than one occasion pulls her away from conversations with other men growling "You're mine!" - before they've even had sex, let alone gotten into anything you might recognize as a, you know, relationship . (He also brags incessantly about how he's going to use her sexually - before he actually does .) That's not attraction or romance - that's stalker-level possessiveness.

Not a Fan of Twilight Either....

I've been into D/s for over thirty years, largely as a "s", both in real life and online. (I'm sure this comes as a huge surprise to anybody who looks at My Books list!) There are very few people I would go as far with as Bethany goes with Savage - and none of them if I'd only known them a few days.

I've also been involved in both the mystery and SF fan scenes - and while I've been lucky not to have been taken advantage of by male fans/authors, I've friends who have been. On the other hand, all of us have experienced that moment where we suddenly feel... unsafe around the guy we're talking to, or is standing in an elevator next to us and there's nobody else there. I don't care what the guy thinks, that's not a turn-on - and that's just how Zachary Savage strikes me.

Oh, and did I mention he has a "playroom" (dungeon) installed in every home he owns? I don't know why that put me off - rather than seeming intensely erotic it seemed desperate, since apparently none of the other women he's slept with (and this being "In The Tradition of FIFTY SHADES....", that number is considerable!) have ever been in any of them! From the way the story reads, he has dungeons built in his homes around the world, just on the off-chance he would some day meet a woman like Bethany who would become his Toxic Love Slave....

WTF? And I Reiterate - WTF?!?!?

On her own, Bethany might be all right - certainly she's together enough to call Mr. Savage on his shit when it gets too thick (one of the best bits in the book is when he, yet again, tells her how he's going to fuck her after two days of not doing zip about it, and she tells him he's all talk and no action!). But I question WTF she's doing falling hard for an asshole like Zachary Savage - the book, of course, chalks it up to "chemistry"....

CHEMISTRY - On Skinemax!

But honestly, this relationship just feels creepy and abusive right from the get-go. Bethany when she's in Zachary's thrall (and there's no other way to put it) reminds me of what a friend of mine calls a "dumpster girl" - a woman who seems so determined to seek out men who are dangerously bad for her that she'll end up in dead in a dumpster someday.

Oh, and how are we supposed to know Zachary is The Right Guy for her, down deep? Because he basically encourages her to be angry about her boyfriend who left her for another man! Yes, the boyfriend was a putz and a coward, not letting her know about his male lover until he showed up one night, male lover in tow, to pack up his stuff and leave her - but from the writing, it comes off that what's even worse was that... ::wait for it:: He Discovered He Was Gay, and Bethany's Still Reeling From That Blow To Her Self-Esteem!

Sometimes, You Just Got To Let Sam Kinison Say It FOR You

Again, a personal note: I'm bisexual. My kid brother is bisexual. My niece is bisexual. I have numerous family and friends who are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered. It is 2014, and same-sex marriage is legal in seventeen of the United States, and all of Canada and the United Kingdom. In a lot of places where same-sex marriage isn't legal, that half&half "civil unions" nonsense is (which is a step in the proper direction, I suppose, but quite not enough for my taste). My point being - If Your Boyfriend Cheated On You, He Cheated On You, End of Story. Stop obsessing about him "loving man-ass", Bethany - you sound as virulently homophobic as Rick Warren, or the Government of Uganda.
< /rant >

The book ends on a cliffhanger, since it's Part One of Two (or maybe Three or more): After finally experiencing Savage's "Playroom" and enjoying it (I'd pick a better Dom/me for you - but otherwise Yay, Bethany! You Go, Girl!), she hears him moan in his sleep about "Farrah", and goes to the Secret Shrine in the middle of a pool on his Marrakesh estate to find her name there. He catches her, and admits,

I'll give it props as a cliffhanger! ...If not much else....

So, let's recap:
- I didn't like the Male Love Interest, At All.
- While I liked the Female Lover better, she went from Self-Possessed to Doormat Submissive (and back!) almost at whim, without really having a story reason for her change.
- Though I didn't really touch on it in this review, I felt the writing, especially during the sex scenes, tended to be clunky and uninspired.
- I really really didn't like the sexual politics, especially as regarding an ex-boyfriend who discovered he was gay.

This book not only disappointed me, the more I think about it the angrier it makes me. That is not what I read erotic romance for - I can get plenty angry just watching Fox News at my gym (which they don't switch off, no matter how many times I ask them to!). If you think I'm out of line or unreasonable, please explain why in the Comments for this review - I'd like to think it's just me who getting twitchy about things like this....

Believe it or not, I actually read the second book, HIGHER - once again, can't say enough about that cliffhanger!

When Bethany gets a coveted invite to indulge in the Indigo Lounge experience she only wavers a bit before stepping on board. The IL, luxury in the sky, a place where no need goes unsatisfied. After being left by her boyfriend who didn’t just leave, but dropped a bomb that shattered her self-confidence; this trip is a chance for her to remember the power of her sexuality.

Zach Savage is not just wealthy, he is filthy rich. His sexual pleasure venture, Indigo Lounge was an idea that was born six years ago. Thousands of feet in the air, all the pleasures are within the reach of the passengers. But he doesn’t indulge in his own services, well that is until he spies Bethany walking through the private hanger.

Within moments he knew he had to have her. But there are dark secrets in his past that he is sure will prevent him from ever keeping her. As they embark on this journey, Zach wastes no time getting her off his plane and into his bed.

So this story was packed full of sexy-time. I had first caught a glimpse of this series at the end of Kitty French’s Knight & Day book and after a few friends picked it up, I decided it was time to give it a go.

I really wanted to love this story, the concept was something that was different and in itself sold me on the book. However, I struggled with the instant love thing. I usually don’t mind quick stumble from lust to love, but there was just something that did not allow me to overlook it.

The sex was off the charts hot, Zara Cox can certainly write a fantastic sex scene and holy-hell did she give you a variety. Dare I say... there might have been too much sex compared to the timeline in the story? Between the instant love and the pages of sex I felt that the story was buried within it. I didn’t get a chance to really connect with either of the two characters. Bethany drove me a bit nuts with her mixed signals and although I can understand the blow she took over her breakup could do a real number on a gal, the reactions seemed a bit over the top. No one had a real voice of reason as to the root of the cause. Sure he was a dick as to how he handled it – but at the same time; some feelings are beyond a person’s control. I wanted one character in the story not to coddle her.

The story ends with a cliffhanger (but book two has been released), and although this did not hit the mark, I will be reading the second book to see this story through to the end.

Dominant billionaire alpha males with a past filled with ghosts and demons are a dime a dozen in romance writing these days, so if a writer is going to journey into the genre with a similar storyline and characters, the writing needs to be flawless and the content needs to hook readers from the very beginning. Zara Cox achieves this in her first installment of the Indigo Lounge Series, High.

Bethany Green, the book’s heroine, accepts the invitation to the exclusive Indigo Lounge with some coercing from her best friend, Keely. Bethany hasn’t had the best year, and she’s determined to shake off the pain she’s felt at the hands of her ex and go on a once in a lifetime adventure, but what she doesn’t see coming is the mysterious Zachary Savage. Savage is a tortured soul; he has demons that haunt him on a regular basis, so the life that he’s lived is one of routines and arrangements until he sees Bethany enter his building. All it takes is one look…one touch and both Bethany and Zachary are ready to go all in, but will the secrets he has be the end of their relationship before it even really gets started?

I loved High. Zara Cox created two fantastic characters in Bethany and Zachary. They’re multi dimensional, so throughout the story, different layers are revealed, and to be able to see their first meeting as well as other important situations through both of their point of views definitely makes them clearer and much more interesting. The connection between them is electric, and the steamy sex scenes illustrate how in sync Bethany and Zachary are. It made sense to have them consumed with one another’s bodies at the beginning; it definitely shows the strong lust they feel for one another, but as their feelings for one another grow, the past starts closing in on them, and Zara does a great job of letting Zach’s past creep up on them until finally, at the end of book one, it’s brought out into the open, not completely, but enough to have Bethany reeling and readers threatening bodily harm with the cliffhanger they’re left with.

If you’re looking for a steamy read with strong characters and a bit of mystery to go with it, you’re definitely going to want to pick up High, and fortunately for new readers, you can dive right into Higher to find out what happens to Bethany and Zachary.

A complimentary copy of the text was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Well quite honestly I feel that book I read isn't the one described.

The synopsis states " Welcome to The Indigo lounge, the scandalously sexy sky-highplayground where anything can happen..." But the Indigo Lounge itself is quickly forgotten and more focus is placed on Zach and Bethany's travels to various places around the world.

Now if all you want out of a book is incredibly erotic sex scenes, then this is the book for you and I genuinely believe that the author is talented in writing such explicit scenes, but I'm afraid that the story seemed almost secondary and at times didn't come across as believable at all. I never understood Zach's obsession with the colour indigo and for me not enough questions were answered to hold my interest in this series. Bethany was clearly still hung up on a past relationship she had, despite having feelings for Zach and the constant mention of this quickly lost its appeal to me.

Zach, a billionaire immediately sets Bethany in his sights and my first impressions of him were not good. Throughout the book he barely shows enough warmth to make him a likeable character. He often came across as too controlling and arrogant. Talk about Alpha male to the extreme. It mentions him clenching his fists a lot and whilst I imagine this is probably to give the impression of an alpha man, I felt it just came across as an overly aggressive gesture and didn't help with Zach's likability at all.

Bethany on the other hand was the complete opposite, although I did sense she grew stronger towards the end of the book, but for much of the time I found her to be weak willed and a bit of a doormat, if I'm Honest.

To summarise, other than the sexual chemistry, which was there in abundance, I felt zero emotional chemistry from the couple and sadly I just wasn't invested enough in the story.

A great read for some, perhaps, just not for me.

Think this is going to go down as a 4.5 star read and will probably change to 5 stars when I get my mitts on book 2!

OK so I came across this book quite by accident and decided it was going to be my next read, I was ready for an erotic troubled read after my last book and as the content has been likened to Sylvia Day (which doesn't impress me) and Jodi Ellen Malpas (which totally impresses me) I though I would give this book a go. And I have to say that yes indeed this book is good, it builds and gets better but for me it doesn't fall into the category of an outstanding read like the This Man trilogy, but then that trilogy is in a realm of it's own and most great books will fall short in comparison than that special trilogy. On the upside though this is far better than the Crossfire series! High is a pretty darn good read and the ending - oh my the mother of cliffhangers! That's going to piss a few off that can't handle cliffies!

That ending is automatically the magnet that makes you scream 'I WANT BOOK 2 NOW!' So without a doubt this books gets it's claws into you and you find yourself second guessing Zach's past and the connection to Farrah. Will he walk away from Beth? Will he tell her his secret. Will Beth handle Zach's secret? After being dumped by her previous ex under unpleasant circumstances should she stay with Zach whose obviously keeping so many secrets from her as well. Is just amazing sex enough? Wow there are so many questions, so many ways this could go it keeps you hooked and them bam that ending. I friggin hope that when Zara says book 2 is coming early in 2014 she means it!

Holy mother of cliff hangers!!!!!

I happened to read the first two chapters of this at the end of Knight and Day by Kitty French! Despite the late hour (or rather, early hour) and instead of going to sleep, I just had to purchase this book right away and pick up at chapter 3!

I loved this book and not just because of Zachary with his Jesse Ward-ish style arrogant, possessive, dirty-talkin, swoonworthy, alpha ways...ok that's clearly a lie, it's totally why I loved it!!

Zachary Savage and Bethany Green seal their lust-filled fate by a chance meeting in a VIP airport lounge.

With Bethany about to embark on the once in a lifetime, city hopping, sky high pleasure palace also known as the Indigo Lounge and Zach on a fuel stop, neither of them were expecting the instant, intense attraction to one another which led to a change in plans for them both and the beginning of a highly charged and world-wind relationship!

Bethany is battling demons of her previous relationship and she is at war with herself about trusting Zach. He is haunted with ghosts of his own and despite Bethany's pleas to open up he fears she will run if he lets her in.

Aside from a few spelling/grammatical errors I really enjoyed the story. Great descriptive writing and imagery. It's well paced and filled with the just the right amount of steam, angst and suspense to keep you turning the page.

The fact that this had a cliff hanger couldn't stop me once I'd started so here I am now eagerly awaiting the sequel! :D

Woah -- I was totally not expecting that type of confession from Zachary at the end, like what?! That had me in a shock, but I think I know how it happened considering his toy room and all.

I absolutely enjoyed how sweet, simple and erotic this story was. The Indigo Club just sounds so fun and exciting. I felt bad for Bethany and what her ex did -- any woman finding out her man is gay is seriously a painful thing to hear, see and find out. However, she was very fierce! She may have been heartbroken, but she still had her groove. She was spunky, sarcastic and had such a huge heart. I totally enjoyed her.

Zachary is successful, hot and knows how to keep things straightforward -- except when it comes to his secrets. I enjoyed his blunt remarks and how loving he was towards Bethany from first sight. He knew what he wanted and made sure he could have it the right way. He never did anything out of spite, but he tried to keep his secrets hidden for so long.

The connection between Bethany and Zachary was amazing in every sense. They both were drawn to one another and fell for one another. The sex was always out of this world between those two, but Zach's secret ultimately "ruined" them in sense.

I'm excited to see how things play out in the sequel, Higher because seriously that ending killed me!

4 "Holy Hot Billionaire" stars!

Recommended for 50 Shades-ish book lovers.

The concept of this book is like a dream come true! Picture traveling to some of the most exclusive destinations in the world, on a luxurious private jet crawling with sexual indulgence. Whoa! Um, find me a travel agent ASAP!

Bethany thinks winning the trip of a lifetime is fortune enough, image her reaction when Zachary Savage, the billionaire sponsoring the trip, is immediately taken with her and propositions her to travel in private with him. Hmmm, let's just say things got extremely hot on board after that!

A hot read with the formula of billionaire with problems meets naive girl who likes to get freaky. If that's what you are in the mood for, enjoy!

3.5 stars. I liked the sound of this book after it was liken to the 'This Man' series. I'll say only one thing regarding a comparison of the two, yes there are definite similarities with Zach and Jesse. Or rather Zach tries to be, with his one-liners that are intended to shock the heroine - Bethany, and the reader. These one-liners are okay....but for me they came across as alittle cheesey, like he was trying too hard.

Anyway, aside from that, this is a good book. It was very easy to read and their relationship is fast moving. I was annoyed at first at how slow Zach took in the beginning, but there was a reason for that so ill forgive him. Bethany was okay too. She's had a tough year and who else to help her - gorgeous and rich Zach.

Of course Zach has some past demons. He doesnt open up to Bethany much and this annoys her - and rightly so given that he demands everything from her. I didnt quite feel the 'darkness' of his past and i had already assumed what these might involve - its kind of obvious. However i think it was intended to be a shock as it is 'revealed' at the end as a semi-cliffhanger.

On the whole, not bad. Hot kinky sex. Always a bonus. Just missing something for me.

Welcome to the world of Zachary Savage a 31 y/o man who has it all, he is sexy, rich, successful and hiding many secrets. He thinks he has everything until he catches a glimpse of Miss Bethany Green.
Bethany is recovering from a break-up that came as quite a surprise in more ways than one! She has had a very tough year and needs to relax and forget. She wins the Indigo Lounge golden ticket. Indigo Lounge is owned by Mr. Savage and is a sexy playground in his leave your inhibitions at the gate luxury plane.
The moment Zach lays his eyes on Bethany he knows he must have her. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Bethany is reluctant to have any contact with him knowing that she is so out of his league.
This was a very hot and steamy story. Let me just say that I would certainly love a personal pat down from Mr. Savage prior to boarding his personal pleasure plane!!! I can't wait for book 2!!!!

High wasn't the story I thought I was going to get. I was expecting a story that focused on the Indigo Lounge and ended up barely getting to peek inside this Lounge before the characters moved on to their own side trip. Zara Cox did a great job sucking me into the story from the beginning but once all the crazy hot sex cooled off a bit it didn't leave me with a story that kept my attention. Zach and Bethany had lots of sexual chemistry but I found myself wanting more dialogue, more story (not all the alluding to a mysterious past), less crazy attachment after a handful of days and less drama for the sake of drama. I don't think I will continue with this series, but I will try another Zara Cox book in the future.

If you are in the mood for a HOT read and a whirlwind story full of mysterious "deep dark secrets" that will take you to different parts of the globe the High will fit the bill!

I'm not gonna lie, the book cover is what drew my attention to this book. I saw the plane and Indigo Lounge and I just KNEW it was gonna be all kinds of kinky fun! And crazy hot kinky is what I got!! To say that Zach and Bethany had chemistry is not good enough. They were electric together! There's a lot of sex going in this story and not whole lot of real meaty story development, BUT that's why there's more books! LOL
SO WARNING: NOT A STAND ALONE! ... If you go into reading this trying to get a WHOLE picture of this story, then you are going to be disappointed. But if you go into it as it was intended (but not specified in the blurb), an installment of sorts, then you will totally enjoy this much more. #TRUST
