In Working It, New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan delivered a sexy and addictive contemporary romance about Emmy Clarke, a sweet southern girl out of her depth in New York City’s cutthroat fashion industry, and Ben Shaw, the hot male model who introduced her to a world of pleasure. But their story is far from complete…

Emmy Clarke is no quitter. Toughened by her experience working for fashion heavyweight Fiona Stone, Emmy has come a long way from her country girl roots, embracing her fast-paced and unpredictable life in New York City.

Though that life comes with more than a few complications.

First there’s the mystery of Fiona’s pregnancy, which may or may not involve Emmy’s boyfriend, superstar male model Ben Shaw. Emmy has always known that Ben comes with more baggage than she can handle—and not the Louis Vuitton kind. Yet Ben is the only man who has ever loved Emmy for who she is, and she wants nothing more than to do the same for him, even if it means forgiving his past and overlooking their wildly different lifestyles.

But when a shocking secret from Ben’s past comes to light, unraveling all of their progress, Emmy must decide if their relationship is worth the fight, or if it’s time to ignore her passion for him and let go.

Craving Him picks up directly after Working It leaves off. If you haven’t read book one in the series, there may be some small story line spoilers.

After finishing Working It, my mind was all over the place. I had so many questions, and thankfully they were all answered.

Emmy and Ben’s relationship is not on solid ground. After what happened with Emmy’s ex-boss Fiona, you are left wondering if it’s possible for these two to make it. One couple so different can only take so much. But Ben isn’t willing to give up on he and Emmy. She is his. Losing her is not an option.
After nearly losing her, I’d earned a second chance and I would do anything in my power to make things right again.

Emmy wants Ben too, but she’s not rushing it this time. She’s trying to move on from their past, to trust him again, but it’s not easy. Even though she tries to go slow, it’s difficult. Ben is pretty damn irresistible.

 photo d8f6d795-17c5-4b53-a917-e2ba352287be_zps54196876.jpg

I wish I could say Emmy and Ben have an easy journey throughout this book. If any couple deserves that, it’s them. Unfortunately, there are some obstacles along the way. Emmy struggles with Ben’s world, not fitting in, but Ben loves that she’s not like all the other woman in his ‘world’.
“I’m thankful as shit you don’t fit into this world. You remind me that there’s so much more to life. You’re my something to grasp on to at the end of the day. You ground me. I love you.”

Their relationship has many beautiful and sweet moments, sexy and steamy moments, moments I was so relieved I let out a huge sigh, and then of course the few omg and wtf moments. Yeah, its there. As in any relationship, you have to work for it. And there is one important question that you have to be able to answer:
“You have to decide what you want. What you can live with. Can you live with his past? Or can you live without him?”

When it’s all said and done, is their love strong enough to survive all that they’re put up against?

 photo a351afbc-6984-4582-b45a-18459a5f0121_zps7907f96e.jpg

Emmy and Ben are two characters I’ve grown to love. Ben isn’t perfect, he has his flaws and his baggage from the past, but one thing is certain. He loves Emmy. He is completely devoted to her and will do anything to keep her in his life. I ♥ Ben Shaw. A gorgeous male model who really just wants someone real in his life. Someone he loves. And the fact that he’s a sexy as hell dirty talker sure doesn’t hurt... There were a few moments my heart hurt for Emmy. I felt like she handled herself well throughout the craziness. She was strong, professional and didn’t let people get to her. She struggled with things, but loved Ben so much, that she tried to get over what she couldn’t change or control. Then there is Fiona... of course I still hated that bitch. She was still terrible. Bray and Ellie were still great- I just wanted more of them!

Kendall Ryan is the Queen of Steam. I enjoy her writing style, the way she can make a book sexy, sweet with just the right amount of drama and angst to keep you on your toes. I loved the themes of this book. Love conquering all, choosing to forgive the past and move forward. It was a great addition to the Love by Design series. As much as I love my dirty talking Ben, I have to still say that Braydon is my favorite character. Even though I didn’t see him as much as I would have liked in this book. I cannot wait for his book to come out (Braydon’s book is called All or Nothing- Love by Design book #3 and it’s due to be released September 9th, 2014). Kendall- write faster! September is too far away and I need more Braydon in my life!!!
“You make me feel like I can do anything, be anything. Like I’m whole. Thank you for loving me despite the millions of reasons not to.”

Having been disappointed in the first book I had hoped this second one might be better, no such luck. Emmy a young woman from Tennessee has moved to New York to work for Status Modelling, working as the personal assistant to the owner, Fiona is the boss from hell. It's while working at the agency that Emmy meets Ben a 22 year old male model, a highly sucessful one, he also has a history with Fiona who is 16 years his senior. Fiona is now pregnant and implying that Ben is the father. That should have ended Ben and Emmy's fledgling relationship IMO. But because Emmy is a weak minded idiot she sticks by him.

This story was just more of the same that was in the first book, Fiona refuses to back off, her constant attempts to win Ben back are really rather pathetic. But what really ticked me off about this story was Ben and Emmy. He has secrets that have the potential to ruin what he and Emmy have, but it's his constant support of Fiona that's really really irritating, he refuses to see her in a realistic light. She's a malicious and manipulative woman that got on my last nerve, but to quote Ben " she means well" is this guy delusional or what. Then he allows his ex girlfriend London to pick out a new wardrobe for Emmy, that was another of his douche moves, and what does Emmy do through all this? Absolutely nothing. When what she should have done was run very quickly away from him, and try to find a backbone.

This is the continuation of Ben and Emmy’s story, wrapping up all of the threads left hanging in Working It, and giving us a wonderfully happy ending. Although I did have a few issues with how things got handled… but more about that in a moment.

The book picks up right where Working It left off, so this review will be spoilery if you haven’t read that one.

Ben and Emmy have been reunited in New York, and although things are a little bit tenuous between them, they are still both very much in love, and Ben is in committed to ensuring a future for the two of them.

I was bound and determined to make things better for her. I would go at whatever pace she wanted, take care of her every need, and love her as long as she’d let me.

I love Ben! He is a fantastic mix of sweet, sexy and downright dirty, and I also really liked that we got so much of his POV. I feel like I got to know him better, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to be in his head. But it felt to me that in this book he was constantly on the back foot with Emmy – forever apologising, proving how much he loves her and waiting for her to be on the same page as him when it came to their relationship. And while that’s admirable, and shows his sensitivity and how much he has changed since his ‘no relationship’ stance when they first met, I missed the strong, confident and slightly cocky guy that I met in the last book - and while that guy did make appearances, I didn’t like seeing Ben so whipped for a lot of the book.

And that’s Emmy’s fault. After praising her for her confidence in the last book, she got a bit whiny in this one and started to let her insecurities rule her. She was so quick to jump to conclusions and think badly of Ben. Sure, he made some mistakes, but Emmy didn’t help with her lack of faith in him. He was so committed to her, constantly told her how much he loves her, yet at every little blip in the road she made a huge deal out of it and goes questioning everything. And then when something big did happen, she totally bailed on him! . Ugh! I understand that there has to be a bit of angst, I just wasn’t happy with the way Emmy handled herself in this one.

But, having gotten my mini-rant out of the way, I did actually enjoy this book. I really loved the times when they were happy together – hanging out, getting all swoony or sexing it up, it’s all good (and HOT!!!!!)! It sort of read like a long epilogue, with lots of time spent with them together just being a couple. And once they overcome all of their hurdles (one in particular that was I was VERY happy to see the back of), we do get a beautifully happy and sappy romantic ending.

“You remind me that there’s so much more to life. You’re my something real to grasp on to at the end of the day. You ground me. I love you and that’s not going to change”.

The other big highlight for me in this book was Braydon and Ellie. As Ben and Emmy’s best friends, I love these two characters on their own, but the fireworks between them when they are together are absolutely fantastic! They bicker, they banter, and the sexual tension sizzles!

“So what do you do for a living?” Ellie asked Braydon.
I though she knew Bray was a model, or maybe she was just trying to make polite conversation.
“Gynacologist,” he answered with a completely straight face. “You?”
“Proctologist,” Ellie returned, meeting his gaze without so much as blinking.
“Sweet. If I ever need my ass looked at, I know who to call.”
She frowned. “I’m not taking on her clients.”
“That’s a damn shame. If you need me to examine you, just let me know. I’m extremely gentle. Vaginas love me.”

I’m really looking forward to their book up next.

Despite my complaints, I am really glad that I read this book. I enjoyed seeing the completion to Ben and Emmy’s journey, and while it didn’t make me feel as much as the first book did, I did like the story, I just didn’t love it.

~~ 5 "Ben and Emmy" Stars ~~

Kendall Ryan will always be a must read, drop everything, author for me. I LOVE every book she has written. This books was no different!!! Craving Him is Book 2 in her Love by Design Series. (Working It is Book 1). This book takes off right were Working It ended. There was absolutely no time loss in this book. This is the conclusion to Ben and Emmy's story (even though I hope we see more of them in Book 3 All or Nothing coming out later this year) I thought this book was a great wrap up book. Book 1 left us with quite a few questions, but Kendall did a fantastic job of clearing everything up. At the end of this book you really do feel that Ben and Emmy's story is complete and all your questions are answered. This book really showed how Ben felt about Emmy and was wiling to do anything for her and their relationship. I will say that this book wasn't all flowers and romance….Ben and Emmy are tested a couple times in this book. One of them carrying over from the End of Working It. Some more of Ben's past comes to haunt them and threatens to tear them apart. Will they make it??? That is something you will need to read the book to find out the answer to!!!! In Kendall Ryan fashion….this book was flawlessly written and was a fast paced book. Now even though this book moved along fairly quickly nothing seemed rushed at all. I never felt like anything was missing either. Let me tell you, if you are looking for steam in this story….well Ms. Ryan totally delivered. This book was extremely steamy ;) It definitely made me swoon and my panties melt. I absolutely loved the ending of this book!!!! I couldn't have been happier even if I had written it myself…lol :)

Ben and Emmy were the same wonderful characters as they were in the first book. My only complaint really is about Emmy…I honestly felt she was a little whinier in this book and not willing to speak her mind when she should've. There was a part that she started to speak her mind but it seemed like she could've totally said so much more. But this did not deter me from enjoying this book immensely!! Ben was still Fan~Freaking~Tastic!!! I would love for him to whisper some of those sweet nothings in my ear *Fans Self*

I was glad we got to see Braydon and Ellie again. We see Ellie a lot more in this book then we do Braydon, but when they are together it made me chuckle. I love their banter back and forth. I also thought Kendall did a great job setting up the story between Ellie and Braydon for the next book (which I believe is theirs). On a sad note…..YES we do see Fiona again :( She is still the wretched person she was in book 1. I don't think I will ever like Fiona….she is that one character that I will always dislike. I don't believe she is ever redeemable.

I would definitely recommend this book/series to everyone. I absolutely loved Ben and Emmy's story and I think everyone else will too. If you are a Kendall Ryan fan then you don't want to miss this book either!!!! I have to say I think Working It and Craving Him are her best work to date (and that's saying something since I love all her books) Don't miss this series….You WON'T be sorry!!!!!

4 (More Ben and Emmy Lovin’) Stars

There will be spoilers from book 1, Working It.

It’s more BEN & EMMY!!!! YAY!!!!! MORE SEXY STEAM!!!! YAY!!!

Craving Him picks up right where Working It left off. Ben made a last ditch effort to win Emmy back and Emmy takes Ben back. Fiona may be pregnant with Ben’s baby and so this leaves Emmy going into the relationship with Ben with a bit more guard on Emmy’s heart.

Honestly I couldn’t blame the girl.

I know, I know, Ben was “raped”. I get it. I rather have him raped by Fiona then him cheating on Emmy. It’s a tough situation to be in and I wouldn’t want to be in Emmy’s shoes.

Craving Him had everything you could look for in a Kendall book. There was steam, sweet moments with a tiny touch of angst towards the end.

Ben is doing everything he can to make it up to Emmy. He wants Emmy in his life and knows the situation between Fiona and Emmy is hard. Also, Fiona isn’t making it easy on the “happy” couple. Emmy isn’t Fiona’s assistant anymore and Emmy needs a job. Emmy is putting her time and effort in finding work. Ben still works with Fiona and still has modeling shoots. He doesn’t want to lose Emmy, but he has to stay with Fiona professionally because of his contract.

What I love so much about Craving Him is Ben’s need to make Emmy happy. Ben messed up in Working It. I understand the whole Fiona thing was out of his control, but he could have put more distance between him and his boss right when Emmy came into the picture. I love reading a book where the Hero chases after the heroine. Also, I love how Emmy is reluctant, but she isn’t annoying.

Emmy did frustrate me towards the climatic ending, but overall, I really enjoyed Craving Him. I loved the steam, the love Ben has for Emmy and the crazy drama between Fiona, Ben and Emmy. Overall, Craving Him was a light and less intense read than Working It. It meets all my needs.

Is there a cliffy?

Is there a HEA?

I enjoyed this book so much more I saw a side of Ben and Emmy that I loved and that was how playful they were when they're together. And Ben just can't get enough of his woman, "I gave her butt a gentle pat. "Wake up, baby." I should let her sleep in, relax, but I was too selfish. Knowing she was here, back in New York and back in my life, made me want to seize the day." I mean I loved being in Ben's head, and well he still gets my panties all soaked, "I trailed my hand higher up her thigh, leaning in close to whisper in her ear. "If you won't let me eff you, can I at least taste your pu**y, baby?" And he's such a damn cuddler, "I redressed in the pajamas he must have put me in - boxers and a t-shirt. When I climbed in beside him Ben rolled toward me and covered my body in a hug. "Mmm, morning baby..." he mumbled, his lips brushing my collarbone." And he sure will do anything to take care of his girl, "looks like I'll have to go out hunting and gathering to feed my woman." Ben smiled warmly, pressing a tender kiss to my forehead. "Anything in particular sound good?" I think Ben get offended when he thinks Emmy thinks she needs to provide for herself, "I have staff working for me, baby. I'll send them out to pick up whatever you need." As if I would have her go without." Emmy I loved her so much more in this book this time around she's not ashamed to be caught ogling, "god, his body was magnificent. A work of art. I'd never seen him not erect, but even in it's relaxed state his length hung heavily between his legs. He stepped into black boxers, quickly concealing my view of the goods. My eyes snapped up to his and I smiled sheepishly." I mean this time around Emmy gets to learn just how 'groomed' her man needs to be, "she chuckled under her breath. "wow. There's an astounding amount of detail on the way your pubic hair should be trimmed. Basically short...oh my goodness. Is this serious?" She let out a short laugh. I mean Ben he's just well not shy at all, and he's willing to give her the world, "anything you want. Snorkeling, scuba-diving, sunning ourselves, napping, hiking, oh and apparently we need to shave my balls at some point too." These two have so much damn chemistry, "he chuckled, the rich sound rumbling from his chest. "Then stop looking at my di** and telling me it's big, sweetheart. Guys tend to like that." He wrapped the towel around his hips and secured it into place. "You can play with him later, I promise."

Ben Shaw. Swoon. I was so excited for a second dose of Ben and Emmy (ok, mostly Ben), and the conclusion of their story. Craving Him picks up where the first book, Working It, left off. Ben wants to win Emmy back and will do anything to have her in his life. She is the only woman who’s ever loved him completely for him, and vice versa. Emmy is hesitant because of the heavy baggage Ben is carrying around, including the possibility of having a child with his boss.

I adore these two together. Especially the way Ben is with Emmy. Who wouldn’t want to be loved so unconditionally and completely, like Ben loves Emmy. He’s the perfect alpha male with a sweet side to swoon over. And he will do anything to convince Emmy they should be together, regardless of his past indiscretions. This is a book you can’t put down simply because you have to know how things work out for these two. Will Emmy be able to get past her insecurities to be with Ben, or will she have to learn to live without him? You have to read it to find out!

As I’ve always said, Kendall Ryan is one of my favorite authors who can write some of the best heart-pounding steam ever. I know that no matter what, when I pick up one of her books, it’s inevitable that I will devour it and be happy when I finish. Another swoon-worthy must read!

Let me start by saying I love Kendall Ryan, I've read every single one of her books and she just keeps getting better and better. I read this book in a matter of hours and for the majority of the book I had a dopey smile on my face. She makes me feel such strong emotions, every single time!

At one point I even said out loud, "Oh, I have a bad feeling about this. This is not good." My husband looked at me like I was absolutely insane. But, that's how talented of a writer she is - I feel so much I can't hold in and have to express myself out loud.

So let me express myself for a minute: I LOVE BEN SHAW!! Ben freaking Shaw has officially taken my number one book boyfriend spot. I love him. I'm obsessed with him. I miss him!

By the way, for those of you that haven't read Working It you need to, so stop what you're doing and go read the first book in this series and get acquainted with my newest obsession.

Craving Him picks up right where Working It left off. It was the perfect conclusion to Ben and Emmy's story and it was the perfect introduction into Ellie and Braydon's story, All or Nothing.

Ben and Emmy fight pretty much everything in order to be together, in particular Fiona. Ugh, I hate that woman. Seriously, I've never hated a character so much - I even messaged Kendall letting her know this. But I digress.

I love the dynamics between Ben and Emmy. Emmy is still battling insecurities, but she is much stronger in this book than she was in book one. Ben is still figuring out how to be a boyfriend, but he makes tremendous strides in this book. Their love grows and conquers and it's beautiful and freaking sexy! Holy sex!

Please, pick up this series. You won't be disappointed!

I enjoyed this book. It had enough drama to keep me entertained but way too much sex to make the story meaningful and the lack of sparking chemistry made all the sex scenes a little ho-hum. As I mentioned in my review of book 1, the author is straddling a fence between erotica and romance and it isn't really working. Still, it kept me entertained but I'm not likely to read it again.

My Thoughts:

Craving Him, by Kendall Ryan, was an outstanding conclusion to Ben and Emmy's story. In Working It, we got to meet these two very distinct characters that came from extremely different backgrounds. Emmy was from Tennessee, was a down to earth Southern girl, with a tight-knit family, home cooked meals, and lived in a trailer most of her life. Ben, on the other hand was raised by a single mother, who was a famous model. They traveled the world, lived in extreme extravagance, but he lacked love and affection growing up. He inherited his mother's beautiful looks, and at the age of 23 was a well established, and successful model, well-traveled, wealthy, and use to beautiful women throwing themselves at him. He met Emmy because she was the assistant to his agent, Fiona. These two had a whirlwind romance in Paris, the city of love, but were brought back to reality when Fiona's underhanded scheming created a situation, in which, Ben may be the father to her unborn child.

In Craving Him, the story continues right where it left off from both Emmy and Ben's point of views. These two have been miserable separated from one other, and after they finally have a talk, Ben gets Emmy to take him back, and try to make their relationship work. These two get hotter and heavier, as their affair is one filled with endless passion, the content fulfillment of ravenous desires, nurturing, romance, and living the dream. However, reality once again rears it's ugly head, and these two have to deal with surprises that threaten their relationship, and a surprise that puts in jeopardy all that they have created together.

I loved Craving Him! This story was an addictive whirlwind ride, and I didn't want to stop reading Emmy and Ben's story. As they traveled to different places, Fiji being the most beautiful, they were living the dream. Emmy brought stability, love, nurturing, and a sense of home in to Ben's life. It was something he had never experienced in his life before, and didn't even realize what he had been missing out on, until he finally got to experience it for himself. Once Ben realized what he had, he wasn't willing to ever let it go. Ben brought Emmy passion, adventure, excitement, a deep connection, and eventually a deep love. These two were great together! Their chemistry sizzled through the pages!

I enjoyed the secondary characters. My favorite's were Ellie, Emmy's best friend and Breydon, Ben's best friend. Ellie was feisty, stood up for her best friend, and was a firecracker! I loved this sassy character! Breyden oozed sex-appeal, confidence, manliness, and was a bad boy through and through. I'm hoping these two get the next story, because they have a lot of chemistry and passion. They fight like cats and dogs, but it works for them!

My Rating:

The Love by Design Series has been great! Craving Him had various beautiful settings, three-dimensional authentic main characters, with a strong connection, and passionate romance! The plot was full of surprises, excitement, and kept the story interesting! The pacing was fast, and the ending was beautiful! I give, Craving Him, by Kendall Ryan, 4.5 Adventurous, Worldly, Smoldering, Passionate, Fairytale Ending Filled Stars! Add this series to your TBR!!!

My Favorite Quote:

"She isn't my equal. She's better than I ever hope to be. Her family, her positive outlook on life, her simple beauty. I wanted whatever she was willing to give me. I'd take it. Gladly. In an industry filled with vanity and looks-are-everything, Emmy never let the fame go to my head. She'd always treated me like a regular guy. Like a man who was meant to be cherished for the actual person I was inside and not some idol to be worshipped and gazed at from afar. It was the only real thing in my life." (eARC, Loc. 2348)

I absolutely loved the conclusion to Ben and Emmy's story. This story picks where Working It left off. Emmy returned to New York after spending some time with her parents after she learns the news about Fiona. When she gets to the airport she runs into Ben and he convinces her to go to his apartment so they can talk. Even thought she is devastated by the pregnancy news she still loves Ben and wants to try work things out. She makes Ben promise that they will take things slow this time. Bens constant traveling and always having beautiful women around is a huge struggle for Emmy and she must learn to trust that she is all that Ben wants in his life.

Ben struggled when Emmy left after she heard the news about Fiona's pregnancy. He will do anything to get Emmy to trust him again. His working relationship with Fiona continues to get in the way as she is still claiming that Ben is the father. In an attempt to keep Emmy close to him he offers her a job as his assistant. She struggles with accepting his offer as she wants doesn't want to be dependent on Ben. She agrees to work for him but refuses his offer to move in with him.

Fiona is not happy about the situation and continues to try and scare Emmy away by telling her that Ben only wants her. Ben finally gets tired of Fiona and ends his business relationship with her and cuts all ties with her. She leaks a video that Ben made a few years ago and Emmy sees it before Ben can explain. When he comes to explain himself she tells him its over and tells him to leave. He continues to do whatever he can to prove his love for Emmy. They go through many ups and downs throughout their relationship but their love for one another is so strong. They know that if they can learn to trust one another and continue to stand by one another they can make it through anything.

"She isn't my equal. She's better than I ever hope to be."

"Because...the future with you...it's everything I've ever wanted."

"I know you do. You make me feel like I can do anything, be anything. Like I'm whole. Thank you for loving me despite the million reasons not to."

"I've always loved you. Right from the very beginning even when I knew I shouldn't."

I love the connection between these characters and their determination to make their relationship work.I also love Ellie and Braydon and how they are always there when their friends need them. I am sad that this is the end of Ben and Emmy's story but am very excited to see where Ellie and Braydon's relationship goes.

Ben Shaw.....Yes I was definitely craving more of him by the time I had finished Working It and Kendall satisfied my cravings for now but I honestly don't think I will ever get enough of Ben.

The story picks up where Working It left off. A chance encounter at the airport has returned Emmy to Ben's arms but he is afraid that the baggage this comes with his life may just be more than Emmy can stand.

Emmy has decided that they need to slow down the runaway train that is their relationship and so she has set limits with Ben....limits that she is finding hard to maintain.

I could totally understand Emmy's reluctance to jump right back into things with Ben but it's hard to say no to the one thing your body craves as much as air. Their chemistry has never been an issue but how much pain and torture can a girl put herself through for man.

We get more of Fiona's dramatics and her not so subtle innuendo's that Emmy is on borrowed time with Ben. I know it's not right to want to inflict pain on a pregnant woman but OMGEEE I really disliked her more than in Working It. She is evil to the core and karma should definitely pay her a visit.

While trying to find solid ground for their relationship they are faced with their differences and more of Ben's past ....will it be more that Emmy's heart can take or will Ben and Emmy find their way to a happy ever after?

I really enjoyed getting more Ellie time and the reappearance of Brayden was a welcomed treat. What does fate have in store for these to firecrackers I am not sure but I have a feeling it will set my kindle on fire.

So if you fell in love with Emmy and Ben in Working It, go grab your copy of Craving Him and see where their story goes. I know it was a journey worth taking for me. Looking forward to see what Kendall Ryan has up her sleeve next as I am sure it will include another Book Boyfriend.

ARC kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! I have been anxiously awaiting this book. And let me just say, this was a wonderful emotional roller coaster ride.

Emmy struggles with her decision to continue a relationship with Ben. Not because she doesn’t love him with all that she has, but because she struggles with feeling that she will never be enough to fit into his world. Ben has never known anything but the glorious life of travel and luxury. Always surrounded by beautiful women, whom Emmy feels she will never measure up to, she wonders if love is really enough.

Ben has never needed another person the way that he needs Emmy. Not only does she see Ben as a person and not some famous model, but Emmy loves him for who he is, baggage and all. There is no doubt in his mind that Emmy is the one for him, and he will do everything in his power to keep her.

What I love so much about this book was that the relationship between Emmy and Ben is real. They have their troubles and they have to really work to get through them. Ben has a past, a very real one, and Emmy struggles with being a simple girl constantly having to deal with his past that feels like she will never beat.

Ben has never wanted to be tied down. He’s enjoyed the lifestyle he has, traveling and never keeping to just one woman. But Emmy has completely turned his world upside down, and now Ben struggles with trying to prove to Emmy that she is all he will ever need.

In Working It, we got little bits of what Ben was thinking and feeling, and I loved that in Craving Him, we get so much more from him. You are really able to understand and feel the struggles that both these characters go through. This was such a beautiful end for Ben and Emmy.

4.5 stars! Great ending! I love this couple!

I love this sequel! I was so scared to start it because I thought the author would rip apart my all-time favorite couple and break my poor little heart! I really, really enjoyed CRAVING HIM just as much as the first.
Emmy and Ben have such a strong connection and I loved that Kendall Ryan did not destroy this. Usually the second book in a series the author breaks a couple up, and more than half the book they are separated, only to end up together at the end.

In CRAVING HIM, Emmy and Ben are together for almost the entire book. They face a lot of issues, but go through them together. I LOVED THIS! It was such a huge change from all the other books I've read lately. I have become such a big fan of Kendall Ryan’s books and will continue to read them. I have her on my AUTO BUY list. She writes great stories filled with believable characters, strong situations, lots of humor, and tons more. I just cannot get enough.

CRAVING HIM was a great sequel with a perfect ending. Ben grows a lot in this book and you really see the change in him. He was true to his word. Despite his past and all the loose screws in his head, he knew he wanted Emmy and was willing to change his life and give up all the fame and fortune if he had to just to keep her. I am literally blushing writing this review. Love me some Ben!

My only complaint was the wedge that finally does come between them (NOT FOR LONG). I didn’t really think that was a good enough reason to really get upset. And it sucks that I can’t really go into details because it would be a spoiler. So, back to why I love this book so much. ;)

I just do! It’s steamy, entertaining, romantic, and very emotional. You definitely have to read WORKING IT – book one in the series in order to really follow book two. Don’t worry… it’s worth it!

A definite Good Choice for Reading!

Great ending to Emmy and Ben's story! Man this one was full of angst, love and hot, talk dirty to me sex! I love Ben's dirty mouth. Anyways Craving Him starts off where Working It left off, with Emmy and Ben trying to patch things back up. Everything that went on between them still hangs heavy around them. I have mixed feelings on that. Part of me understands why things are still tense and I don't blame Emmy at all for being standoffish. But the other part of me wants to shake her and say "hey girl, he LOVES you!" But that wouldn't be fair since we are seeing his thoughts and well she can't; it ain't that type of book ;) I fell even more in love with Ben than I thought was possible. He is new at having a relationship, but boy does he make an awesome boyfriend or what!? Yes, like any man he has his faults and his stupid moments. He tends to have a lot of those concerning Fiona. But not in the way you would think. I think Ben is just too soft hearted. He feels like he owes her something, even though she did take advantage of him. Which is majorly fucked up BTW. Anyways, I think Ben grows up a lot during this book. But it takes Emmy a little longer to do so. I want to say I hate how she jumped to conclusions without even asking him for an explanation BUT then I have to put myself in her shoes and realize that I may have done the same thing. That is one thing I love about these characters, even though their lifestyle is obviously lavish, they still felt real to me. I love that we saw a little more of Ellie in this one too. I love her and Braydon! I can not wait to see where Kendall Ryan takes them!!

Craving Him is a continuation of Ben Shaw and Emmy Clarke’s story from Kendall Ryan's Working It. I absolutely loved Working It! The book took my breath away in parts and the storyline moved along quickly. Craving Him gave Ben and Emmy the HEA we were all wanting.

Ben is a supermodel that every woman fantasizes about but he only has eyes for Emmy, his sweet, curvy Southern Belle. Problem is that at the end of Working It, Ben and Emmy are going to piece back together their broken relationship. I don't want to ruin Working It but the curveball from that book has ramifications seen through 3/4 of Craving Him. I would argue that you need to read Working It first.

Emmy and Ben run through the gamut of relationship problems in this book and it is fantastic to see Ben willing to fight for what he wants and needs….Emmy. Emmy has a hard time dealing with how different their lifestyles are and is not sure she can handle all the baggage that comes with Ben. She opens herself time and time again but ends up being hurt.

Without her best friend and roommate, Ellie, Emmy never would have survived Craving It. Quite honestly, Ellie was my favorite character in this book. She delivered some awesome one liners.

"Oh boy, this douche canoe again…."
“Vodka? Chocolate? A blowtorch to fry his balls? What do you need?”

I can't wait to see what fireworks happens between her and Bray in the next book. Kendall Ryan never disappoints. Every book she writes, I enjoy.

I was given this book for an honest review.

This is the continuation of Ben Shaw and Emmy Clarke’s story. Ben is the model that every girl wants to be with and that every guy wishes he could be. Traveling the world and be surrounded by beautiful women doesn’t do a thing for him unless he has Emmy by his side. Being his boss’s ex-assistant, Emmy struggles to be around Fiona due to her obvious attraction to Ben.

I hoped his love would be enough to outweigh all the baggage threatening to overwhelm me at every turn.

Without her best friend and roommate, Ellie, Emmy never would have survived her ups and downs with Ben. Ellie is there to pick up the pieces whenever Emmy needs her by her side.

“Vodka? Chocolate? A blowtorch to fry his balls? What do you need?”

No matter what the question remains for Emmy to decide whether she will be able to live with the baggage or move on and live without Ben in her life.

This story has several ups and downs and twists and turns. I couldn’t stop reading it for I had to know how Ben and Emmy’s story would end. The heart will love who it wants to love regardless of the baggage that is attached, even when that baggage is Fiona and London. Kendall Ryan is an amazing author and I recommend this book wholeheartedly but first you have to read Working It.

This sequel to Working It was the perfect conclusion to Ben and Emmy's story.

They are back together but it is no easy road for this couple. The stress of not only the situation with Fiona but Ben's job and Emmy's need for one make this a journey filled with bumps and detours.

What I loved about this book was that as usual, Kendall Ryan gives the reader the right amount of angst, enough sexy passionate scenes to fog up your Kindle and heartwarming dialogue that will make you swoon.

Ben is a flawed yet devoted boyfriend and Emmy is the woman who just wants that chance to give him a taste of a normal life.

Together they will face plenty of obstacles but the fierce love they have for each other just may pull them through. The secondary characters of Bray and Ellie add just the right amount of pleasant distraction when our couple's world seems to be falling apart.

I highly recommend this book...and you must read Working It first to see where it all began. It is a well written series that kept me captivated.

DNF

loved Working It by Kendall Ryan, a lot! But I just couldn't get in to Craving Him no matter how hard or how long I tried.

The endearments "babe" and (mostly) "baby" were so incredibly overused and eye-roll-worthy. I no longer felt the connection between Emmy and Ben, or the likeability factor with either characters (though mainly Emmy); they came across as annoying more than anything.

The only thing that kept me reading for as long as I did was so I could find out the truth about Fiona's pregnancy, but in the end even that wasn't enough for me to carry on.

I will continue to read books by Kendall Ryan, but it's a DNF for Craving Him.

It was okay, but I felt like there would be a disagreement, make-up, and then sex. Sometimes, the sex felt forced. I almost thought for a minute that they were only together for the sex.

Questions are answered about the "cougar" from book 1, but I still don't trust the hero.

I usually can not stand frequent change in dual POVs, but Kendall Ryan did a great job.

I am not sure if I will read Ellie and Braydon's story.
