This set of books is considered the Veronica Sloan Series and consists of two novels:
Don't Look Away
Don't Ever Stop

When she recommended a book from another series by this author in her February/2017 newsletter… Or it may have been her March/2017 newsletter. Whichever it was the book looked really interesting and sent she was highly recommending it. I decided to check out the author's other works, and I found a couple of series that the author had on Kindle Unlimited, which meant that I could read them for free just to see if I liked her writing style and I do.

I'm intrigued by the universe that she's created for this futuristic series. It's not set very far in the future, but it does set up parameters for world that is ravaged by one defining day that change is everything about our country. It was very well done and not over the top or outside the realm of possibility, so the premise never made me hesitant or irritated with the un-believability of it all.

I'd have to say that I enjoyed this series very much. It has action, adventure, some sci-fi and a wee bit of romance thrown into the mix to make it just about perfect.
