Holds up well, easy to read and digest in "chunks"

The chapters at the end of the book were particularly helpful as I have not seen information on asset allocation, sequence of withdrawals to minimize taxes, working with estate planning attorneys and best practices for beneficiary designation together before. None of the links work anymore to the worksheets but the information in the figures is mostly still relevant.

Very worthwhile read at any age

As a senior the book covers all the basics in an easy to read format in short chapters with specifics on how to prepare your own worksheet and plans. Most every life financial situation is covered from someone just starting out or at the back end of. Well worth a read and a great reference book.

This was helpful! Some new information some old but always a good start! Would recommend for beginners or people that are closer to retirement

Okay basic book on finances. More strongly emphasizes active management than i would recommend. Also the book doesn’t age well in terms of references, which are repetitively back to their website or to recent events at the time of writing but not at reading.

Some good step-by-step guidance on completing financial tasks. It was a bit heavy on the promotion of Morningstar and its tools, but that is to be expected given that Benz works for them.
