The Invincible: A Veils of the Witch Story

Rate this book
Long ago dark forces destroyed the world’s civilizations, science, and technology, creating a dark age in need of heroes.

Groff emerged as such a hero. Undefeated in battle he earned the title of Invincible and was awarded a legendary blade infused with the techno-wizardry of the ancients. Many believed that the Invincible, armed with this weapon, had the power to usher in an age of light.

In time, the world moved on, and this belief faded. Warriors and mystics became a dying breed. Injured and aging, Groff struggles to find his place in this new world when he crosses paths with Rheah the Witch, an ancient dark being who offers Groff a deal, one he knows he shouldn’t take. Ever the temptress, Rheah lures Groff in promising that the age of the Invincible is still to come.

Is Rheah goading Groff into some twisted game for her own sadistic pleasure? Does the legendary sword truly contain an ancient technology capable of bringing light back to a dying world? To know the truth Groff must again become, The Invincible.
