I started this series on a whim because one of my fav manga artist was drawing the manga adaptation for it and I got curious and checked that out and oh god both heroine and hero ended up hitting my pings (capable heroine with entertaining narration? check. Shady Machiavellian hero who has a "hidden nice side"? Check) that I couldn't help but end up checking the novel out because I got impatient wanting to find out how it ends AND IT WAS GREAT both of them ended up hitting my pings even more. I'm gonna try to continue with this series against my better judgment because I looked and there's around 12 books ongoing (I think) in this series and usually I'm reluctant to start more Japanese light novel series because they tend to go on the longest of slow burns that drag forever and my patience doesn't hold out for them lately so...here's to seeing how long I will last.

I got curious after seeing a tweet from a friend and well, I have no regrets on starting this. The heroine, Feldia is loveable, absolutely hilarious with how stingy she can be. Her 'currency' is in potatoes w

The main guy, Clovis got me the moment I found out he was into poisons... No regrets because he's actually a nice guy (?) and hell his family seems pretty screwed up for now.

I'm going to continue with this series (another 9 volumes and a 'novella') because heck I wanna know what's going on between the two countries, what kind of person Princess Sirene really is and of course...when Prince Clovis finds out Fel's a fake. CAN'T RESIST HOW SWEET HE REALLY IS TOO.
