Follow this simple roadmap to better relationships, greater results and amazing rewards.
Looking down the barrel of a loaded gun is a bad time to come to the realization that your people skills need some work. Unfortunately, this is exactly where Steve found himself early in his business career. Just when he thought he had the world by the tail, along came a 70-year old lady packing a pistol and a really bad attitude. Believing he was trespassing, she decided the situation could be quickly and easily resolved by the use of lethal force.
It’s remarkable how fast your viewpoint can change with the right motivation. There are critical factors that impact virtually everything in and around your life — good and bad. The trick lies in recognizing these factors and utilizing some easy tips that can literally define whether the outcome of many of life’s situations will be ordinary or simply amazing.
Here’s what no one ever tells you — with the right playbook, it’s really not that hard to achieve. By taking action and making adjustments in yourself, your friends and how you work in business, you can open the door to a whole new world (and a lot of fun) that you never knew existed. By taking a little time to read this book and apply these principles in your life, things will change for the better. Much better!
“A compelling read about how to live life to the fullest. Steve has laid out a common-sense roadmap for life that, if followed, will allow you to go on the offense and stay there.” – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham
“Pointed, powerful, insightful…over-invest in activities that offer a lifetime payoff.” – Will Marre, Co-founder of the Covey Leadership Center
I actually met Steve back in 2019 when I was a student at Clemson. Steve gave me this book when I met up with him for coffee. Back then I wasn’t a reader at all. I might have read 4-6 books fully in my entire life at that point. Well flash forward 3.5 years and I’ve become more of a reader (especially business books). I figured I’d give this one a spin.
This book is 6/5 stars in my opinion. Steve has a very approachable way of writing while also being concise and informative. Each chapter is easy to read while also being jam packed full of gems.
